I have contacted this contractor 3 times for 2 different projects just to get a quote. They have promised to call back and one time they set up a date, but they never followed up or showed up. I guess they are too busy for new business.
Description of Work: I wanted a quote on both a bathroom and kitchen project.

It didn't go anywhere. Jerry answered the phone and I explained my project. He told me that he was booked for the next two months so if I was in a hurry he couldn't help. I told him that wasn't a problem. He asked where I lived and said he'd have to call his scheduler and would get back to me with available dates to come out and give me an estimate. Well, that was 9 days ago. Still no word from Allspectrum.
Description of Work: He didn't actually do anything other than answer the phone. I wanted to get an estimate for a master bath remodel. I found Allspectrum on Angie's List and gave Jerry a call.

My first call to a provider on Angie's List! I was so happy to have received a gift membership, and this was my first call to a contractor. I made the call on a Saturday after checking there were Saturday hours, even though I did not expect a call back on a Saturday. I did however expect a return call...eventually. Over a month has passed and I still have not received a return call. I am very disappointed with my first experience with Angie's List.

We called him in the middle of the day to see if we could set an appointment with him to view our needs for a Kitchen, Master Bath and Family room update/remodel. He stated he was at the end of a very long project and would be willing to see us and set an appointment, but needed a week or two break before starting another project. We shared we were fine with this option. He stated he would call us back at the end of the day with a time for him to come view our projects and stated he could help us with it all. He NEVER called. We are disappointed especially noting the stellar reviews he has here on the site.

Description of Work: When I first talked to Jerry Peregrina he was interested in the job. He was suppose to call and come by the next day and didn't. I tried calling him and he wouldn't answer his phone. So the next day I finally talked to him and he showed up to get a copy of the appraisal for the job. He said he would go by the house to see the damage. He never showed up. He never called and wouldn't answer his phone again. I assumed he didn't want the job. He was very unprofessional, thoughtless, and inconsiderate. Also wasted my time. I needed the job done as soon as possible so I could get the house back on the market to sell. I filed an insurance claim for water damages in my mom's home who passed away last March. He was aware of the situation. I would DEFINATELY NOT RECOMMEND HIM!!!!! I found him on Angie's list and he was highly recommended. You just never know!

When I met with (member name removed) she was not sure how she was going to pay for the work. she asked if I accepted insurance claims and I told her NO. She wanted us to charge the insurance for the work that she wanted us to do and wanted to get money from the insurance claim. I apologize for the misunderstanding but we are not an insurance claim company.

This was a strange experience. We contacted Allspectrum about some updates to a rental property, specifically the kitchen and bathroom. When I first contacted Jerry he sent me pictures of some beautiful custom work he had done for other clients. While I was impressed with the work I let him know that we were looking for an affordable way to make the function and comfort of the kitchen and bathrooms more up to date for renters. We made an appointment for an estimate and he was on time and very professional. We spoke about the options and he gave me some ideas that I hadn't thought about. However, he seemed rushed after about 30 minutes and although he knew there was a laundry list of things to be done and he had said in previous emails that he could provide all of the service, he left without talking about them and I never heard from him again. I hope I'm wrong but it seemed like if you're not doing an expensive custom job they aren't too interested in providing you with service. I never even received a quote so I can't speak to their prices. Perhaps they need more time but I thought he had said he would be ready with the quote in a couple days. It has been a couple of weeks and I've received quotes from the other contractors that we contacted. We have chosen Professional Kitchen and Bath with Scott. He has been very helpful. The meeting with Allspectrum was a waste of time.

I contacted Jerry in November for an estimate to remodel my kitchen. He was able to meet with me quickly and provide an estimate. The remodel consisted of new countertops, sink, backsplash, ceiling lighting and under and over cabinet lighting. He made suggestions and seemed genuinely interested in my project, unlike other contractors that I met with. The work was started in late-December and communication regarding when people would be coming to do the work was great. They were punctual, cleaned up afterward and were professional and pleasant to work with. Jerry was helpful throughout the project and even met with me on his own time to help select tile for the backsplash. I could have gotten my kitchen remodel done for less money, but not with the level of enthusiasm and personal attention to my project that I received, as well as the gorgeous end result. The workmanship, professionalism and quality exceeded my expectations. I am very satisfied and love my beautiful new kitchen!
Description of Work: Countertops, sink, backsplash and lighting
Jerry was very responsive from the start. We quickly arranged a meeting at the property. Knowing the condo will be used as a rental property, he made many useful recommendations geared toward providing a nicely renovated property with quality upgrades on certain things that commonly cause headaches for landlords. He guided me through every step of the process, ensuring that he was able to keep the remodel on schedule. He completed all the work we agreed upon and I am completely satisfied with his work. This was my first experience with hiring a contractor. I chose Jerry, in part, because he is easy to communicate with - in person, by phone, text, email - and this gave me confidence that I would be able to work with him to achieve the right result for my property. I am very happy with the entire process and outcome and would not hesitate to call him again if the need arises.

The work was done within the timeframe estimated and the house was cleaned up when the work was completed.
Description of Work: We had a very positive experience with Jerry and Britt. A remodel of the kitchen and master bath were the primary jobs and they were done to our satisfaction. There were some unexpected problems that came up with the electrical and plumbing in the kitchen which caused the cost estimate to increase but Jerry explained the planned cost (reasonable) and got my agreement before proceeding. I am grateful for all the work they did and would definitely use them again/

Recommendation for Remodeling. In case you don’t want to read the full review; we had a very positive experience. We will get more work done by them in the future. Now the details. I appreciate people that understand busy schedules and can accommodate. Jerry made himself available to meet on the weekend, and on July 4th weekend (a long weekend). He was readily available to speak on the phone, communicate via email and texting. With busy schedules it is vital to have all these modes of communication. Jerry presented himself very professionally. He had business cards, his company logo on his shirt, and most importantly, identification. He looked over the job, assessed what we needed with particular attention to our time schedule. Although it was a long weekend, he was not rushed and spent hours with us. His quote came in later that day, typed up and broken down by project and associated cost. They like to have a substantial upfront payment, but are also able to work with us on the source. We negotiated a payment and the source was American Express. We opted for Amex for the credit card protection. The cost was more than expected. Our expectations were from co-workers and basic web searches on how much things should cost. For us, we wanted a great job done very fast. We could have spent less money if we were not picky on details, and if we could have gone slower. We bought this house and had 3-4 weeks before we moved in, ready or not. Britt is quite detail oriented. Apparently our house has many finishes on the walls. Not quite standard from room to room, but it gives the house a nice style. However, the multiple finishes really made it h****** Britt. He went over this one wall at least 3 times until it was perfect (to him). I could not see the difference, but he could and he wanted it perfect. Now when we look at the wall, even I forget that there was a gigantic defect there before. It is that good. Yes, that is a single example, but it goes to their entire work ethos. I am sure there are other projects that would not allow this, but as time progressed we sometimes we had a better idea or wanted to alter the plans. Email and text is all it took. No fussing, no crying, no wailing. Just an “ok.” With areas that we did not have details sorted out, they were quick to give excellent advice. More often, the advice they gave LOWERED the cost of the project. They knew what would work and what wouldn’t. Sure they want to make a living, but not at the detriment to the job. It is rare quality. There were many projects being done simultaneously. Some details were going to be over looked or not remembered. I would come to the house, after work, and walk through room-by-room writing down what still needed to be done. I’d come in on the weekend and it was already done. No need for my list. For the stuff that was genuinely overlooked, they were quick to make it right. No excuses, no rolling of the eyes, just done. Just done and done immediately. By the nature of the projects, they required some subcontracting. The subcontractors were all insured and professionals as well. We never felt that we paid Jerry and Britt, and all they did was hire it out. Never. Sure, Britt and Jerry were not there everyday, but many days they were on site for more than 12 hours. Upon conclusion of the job, they were there 16 hours a day making sure it was done to their satisfaction. We have been in the house almost 3 months, and I have yet to discover a defect that we asked them to fix or a and frac12; done job.
Description of Work: Complete interior painting with repair of significant drywall defects. Modernization or interior. Garage sealant. Custom closets. Major interior repair and unifications of interior so it looks like a single home now.
Description of Work: I have remodeled several homes in Los Angeles, CA and just moved to Scottsdale. So, I am not a novice at home remodeling homes. I know to look for punctuality, cleaniness, attention to detail, and having the right team and contacts behind them - cabinet manufacturers, painters etc. Every question and concern I had was answered in a professional manner with an explanation for everything that was going on. I had interviewed several companies prior to choosing All Spectrum, I did not choose the least expensive or the most expensive company. Jerry came up with many excellent ideas, which I did act one, such as a different type of shower door with a vertical handle. The estimate for services was dead on and there where no surprises. All Spectrum, replaced tile with granite in the kitchen, added a wet bar with granite and a wine refrigerator, all new vanites in the master which is 112" long and second bathroom upstairs. Installed vanity in lower bath. Granite in laundry room. complete painting inside, new bathroom fixtures and hardware - you name it it was replaced! Britt and Jerry moved lighting fixtures etc. I was attempting to put together aa filing cabinet late one night and Britt and Jerry jumped right in and really put the whole cabinet together for me. It was a pleasure to watch my new home come together. This was the least stressful remodel I have ever had. I would absolutely recommend them for any size job and would is always hire them in a minute
Understanding that most people only skim things like reviews, let me summarize my feelings and experiences in one sentence: Allspectrum Remodel went far above and beyond what was asked and expected of them at every step of the process. The entire team was never anything less than prompt, reliable and professional for the entire 6 week remodel process. If they said they were going to arrive at a certain time, that's when they arrived. If they said something would be done on a certain day, that's when it was done. The quality of the work was superb. To be frank, Jerry is a perfectionist - a wonderful quality to have in a contractor. He brought the same level of attention and care to his work on my home that he would to his own. The demeanor and attitude of the entire team was consistently pleasant and professional. There were never frayed tempers or drama - especially appreciated considering that I was in the house with them all day every day that they worked. To sum it up, I love everything they did for me. The shower is quite simply a work of art and everything else is like I imagined it during the planning stages and, perhaps, even a little bit better. Quite simply, their worked helped turn an empty, unfamiliar house into my home.
Description of Work: My interior designer has already given a review for the work done at my home (dated April 26, 2012) which gives a basic outline of what Jerry and his company did for me. But, as the homeowner, I wanted to make sure that I expressed my gratitude and appreciation for how they conducted themselves and the quality of their work. What they worked on: 1. Master Shower Remodel: Expand shower frame and ceiling soffit to make the shower larger, add new shower heads, niche shelves, lighting, seat, new tile on walls and floors. 2. Ceiling can lights and accent lights installed throughout the home. New lighting fixtures installed in foyer, dining room, hallways. 3. TV's mounted to walls in several rooms, outlets moved, components installed to be hidden on closets or cabinets. Speakers hidden in ceilings. 4. New laundry room cabinets built and installed 5. New toilets installed in four bathrooms 6. Bookshelves installed in several rooms 7. New wood-laminate flooring installed in two bedrooms. 8. Mounted a fountain in the foyer.
I couldn't be more thrilled with the job performed by Allspectrum Remodel, as I feel I got the best value for my money as compared with other, larger general contractors. Allspectrum is a smaller company, and they have an excellent work ethic, and bring a great deal of integrity to the performance of their work. They were always on time, were here when they said they would be, had excellent design ideas, and saved me money on expensive materials (ceramic tile, custom cabinetry and countertops). I now have the kitchen of my dreams, and would have had to pay more (and get less!) if I had gone with one of the larger contractors! Also, the energy and enthusiasm they brought to their work is what convinced me to use them in the first place, because they got excited about my remodel job, and made me feel that they genuinely cared about the result I would end up with. I did not get the same feeling when talking with several of the other, larger companies I originally considered (who, conversely, made me feel that my remodel job was one in a hundred, and was inconsequential). I am absolutely thrilled with the quality of the work performed by Allspectrum Remodel, and with the value dollar for dollar. I WILL use them again in the future for any remodel or repair job in my home, and I strongly recommend them to any home or business owner who cares about the quality and value of repair or remodel services performed in their home or place of business!!!
Description of Work: Allspectrum Remodel completely remodeled my kitchen/dining room following a drain leak. This required the installation of new ceramic tile, all new kitchen cabinetry, countertops, as well as drywall repair, painting, electrical work, and plumbing repair. This also involved the installation of new flooring, drywall repair, and painting in the great room as well.
Jerry arrived to meet with me and my client and spent several hours touring the home and took notes and described how he would approach the various projects. He offered lots of suggestions on lighting and the shower remodel. He got a bid to my client within several days. The next week my client paid 50% up front and Jerry booked the next four weeks to work on my client's home. Jerry and his crew showed up promptly each workday and part days on Saturdays. They have completed almost all the remodeling and electrical projects. Sometimes they ran into problems of sub-standard work done by the previous homeowner and had to do additional work, but they kept on time and on budget. My client is very pleased with the high quality of their work and has found additional projects for them to complete.

We wanted to remodel two small bathrooms - both for handicapped access. the master bath needed removing bathtub and installing flat floor shower. We were using used cabinets. The job included tile, electrical, plumbing, painting and drywall repair. We had a deadline of approximately two months which we emphasized. Jerry talked about his great cabinet shop; he could match the cabinetry perfectly for finish detail; and he would help me shop for materials. He sounded like he knew his business and his estimate for a remodel was reasonable. I did not realize that about half of what he talked about was missing from the contract. My fault in that I assumed some items were included in the listings and did not question them. Immediately Jerry was too busy to help me find materials. He and Britt came over and did the replacement of one shower was with hardiboard (waterproof) Although he said the whole shower would be replaced originally, when I asked about his doing only one wall he said the other walls did not need it. For about two weeks the tile installer was the only one on site for most of the time., Jerry came by daily to see me at the end of the day. I was beginning to realize he had another job which was taking his full time attention.Communications was a disaster. Tile was laid wrong and they accused me of 'changing my mind' when I complained to them. (We had decided on a brick pattern to break up a long line but the tile was laid in a vertical brick which still created the long line where I specifically said I did not want.) To be fair their tile man disgustingly said that Jerry said he would have to rip it out and I felt sorry for him. The tile is a mess. A potch of grout is in the middle of a prominent tile in the shower. It looks like a repair??? Cleanup was non existent with red marks bleeding into the grout. Then Jerry said he could not work with me and declined to do the other bath. I was relieved with that. Exposed plumbing looks awful. They said they would make it look nice but it has coils of tubing around the plumbing under one sink and the other sink does not. Both look patchy and cluttered. Then I found out that the reattachment of sinks and toilet would be extra. Also any finishing of the cabinets was not included in the cabinet installation. Painting was not included. I feel this was probably the most expensive tile job anyone could have. The few minutes spent on the cabinets and poor plumbing hardly is worthy mentioning Another contractor was needed to finish the job so the bath was usable before the deadline.

When I first met her she talked about these cabinets that she bought used from Stardust. She choose to use kitchen cabinets in her bathroom , I do not recommend. I have never in my life been in a house that is so messy , dirty and full of junk. It made it so difficult to work in her house. She had exposed rat traps , the smell of the house would make any person vomit. She would try and play contractor and she knew some things about building but not enough to take on a bathroom remodel. She has big dreams but I would recommend that she cleans her house before she takes on any other remodel project. I will never forget the day that we were in the bathroom and she would pass gas, so smelly that I had to step outside and vomit. I have pictures to prove how messy and dirty her home is, not a single room in the house is livable. Someone should call Adult Protective Services on her for the living environment of her husband. We spent more time trying to move items around so that we could complete the job than any contractor should ever have to. I have pictures to prove that she should be on an episode of "HOARDERS" . I would never let my company work for anyone who lives in this environment . The home should be quarantined . It is the worst by far home that I have ever been in and no wonder the neighbors would like for the home to be sold to someone that would keep up with the yard .

The company met us at the scheduled time to look at the property to review before giving an estimate. The estimate was e-mailed to us within two days. We chose to go with another contractor who gave us a better price for the jobs.
Description of Work: Only got an estimate for tiling jobs.
These gentlemen were beyond professional. I received a quote that they did not exceed by one penny. They arrive on time, clean, professional and worked efficiently. They understood what I wanted, executed it beyond my wildest dreams. They were extremely neat and cleaned up after every night. They were done on time and even washed my floors when they were finished. There prices were exceptional. They even repaired problems that they came across in their remodel that existed in the home at no additional charge to me. Not only would I recommend them highly I am already contracting them to repair and remodel my Master bath. They work within your budget and understand design esthetics. If asked they will try to incorporate existing fixtures, features and materials into their work. They are excellent green contractors and understand the need to use such material and recycle as much as they can when the customer asks for such.
Description of Work: I had a den with low walls built into a bedroom with double doors and a window installed overhead. Had two arches and supports taken down so second room could be expanded. Had cabinets installed along with shelving, rewiring of electrical work. Lighting installed and walls lengthened. Also had tiled layed and the entire home painted.
Jerry and his partner Britt are a talented team that work directly on the job site along with a few employees when needed. They are fully licensed, bonded and insured contractors and handle a wide range of remodeling activities. They stayed true to their bid and finished the job just as scheduled. The client's were thrilled with the results.
