Our historic home had a unique issue with the master bath drain for the shower tub and toilet. We obtained an estimate from another company for $4000 to fix this problem. When we called Affordable Plumbing, the dispatcher was courteous, and was able to schedule an appointment on the same day. Larry came to the house on time and was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem in less than 2 hours. The cost was $169, which included a warranty. We are very happy with the quality (and price!) of his work, and would highly recommend this company.

I joined Angie's List after a few referrals from my home warranty program which were less than desireable on review.After 9 years, the water heater showed signs of leaking and I knew it was time to do better. I contacted Affordable Plumbing Water Heaters, Scottsdale, AZ and felt I found a truly professional business with exceptional products.Larry Patterson, the owner did the work and replaced the old A O Smith gas water heater (builder installed) with an American manufactured Bradford White system. Rick was right on time and did a quick quality job. He was very professional and we felt like we got an excellent price. My wife thought it would cost Somewhere between $1000-2000, But it only cost $600 installed!!!I would very much recommend Rick and Mr. Waterheater to a freind

Rick arrived approximately 30 minutes from the time I called. Removed old water heater and replaced with a new one. Was extremely professional, explaining everything both before and after. Clearly explained my options regarding a repair vs. replacement. Would definitely recommend him.

It went very well, and I am very glad I finally reached this provider. I had made several calls to other companies listed on Angie's list who claimed they had 24 hour or emergency service for plumbing issues, but they all had excuses as to why they could not come do the service. Why have yourself listed as having the service if you don't want to do it. Stop wasting people's time who need help. Anyway, this company came on a Saturday at the end of the day and worked until the problem was solved. Our hot water heater quit working and we needed hot water as we have a toddler in the home and couldn't wait until Monday to have this fixed. Mr Waterheater answered the call, saved the day and really helped us out of a bind. THe technician was very informative and very much knew what he was doing. I would call this company first before you waste your time on others. Great work and thank you!!!!

I had used this company in the past for some plumbing issues, this time it was a leaky water heater. I called and Larry responded, checked out the unit and since it was over 12 years old he replaced it the same day. Overall, the job was done efficiently and quickly. The technician was courteous and solved the problem of my clogged sinks. I would have preferred the technician had not put the gunk from the drains on the counter top, but had disposed of it in the trash can first. I had to spend time after the service call cleaning up the counter top and floor with a disinfectant. The snake also deposited gunk on the bathtub shower curtain, which I had to remove and wash to get it clean. There is still a small stain.

I had what I thought would be a very big problem - water from kitchen backing up into the powder room toilet. All pipes and lines in one side of the house were blocked. Larry cleared the blocked pipes - including fixing a vent problem that was caused by bad roof installers. He went the extra mile, and everything was fixed perfectly. He also handled a simple drip in the bathroom just as a courtesy when he had fixed the main problem. I couldn't believe how thoroughly the job was done, and how reasonable the charge was. He arrived very promptly, was clean, polite and kind. I will recommend him to all of my neighbors and friends who need any kind of plumbing. Love finding a resource like this. By the way, I had Parker and Sons out here two months ago to fix what apparently was the same problem (just in the kitchen at that time). They charged over $500 and it clearly only fixed the problem temporarily.

We called Affordable Plumbing on a Saturday afternoon, and they came out to the house the same day. We needed a corroded pipe replaced, but he checked out the water heater to make sure everything else was functioning.The entire process took less than an hour to complete. We were also given a discount on a future water heater if/when we wanted to replace it (but no upselling pressure).Very quick service, especially given the call was on a weekend, and would recommend to others without hesitation.Thank you ,

My 80 gallon hot water heater started leaking on a Sunday. I was very concerned that the water could leak into my house so I wanted someone to come out as soon as possible. Larry (the owner) came out within an hour and replaced my old unit with a new one. He was prompt, very knowledgeable ( I asked a lot of questions) and charged a very fair price. I would definitely call him again for any of my plumbing needs.

The experience was fantastic. I tried to go through the original builders contractor and placed on excessive hold and then those who answered were very uninformed about water heaters and did not provide any options or information. This experience made me uncomfortable with what I might receive. So, I decided to go elsewhere. When speaking with Mr Water Heater, they were extremely informative and steered me toward a brand that I had reviewed although admittedly unfamiliar with. That conversation gave me extreme confidence they had extensive experience installing and servicing quality water heater. This additional information made me feel comfortable that I would ve receiving a great product and installation. The gentleman arrived within an hour of calling and had my new water heater installed in about 75 minutes. This was amazing to me! The price was $300 less than the original organization and Im confident I received a superior product. I would absolutely use Mr Water agian.

I called Rick at Mr. Waterheater to get an estimate on a repair and possibly the age of a leaking heater. He gave me several estimates based on warranties, told me the approximate ages of my waterheaters, recommended replacing them both as their ages precluded effective , lasting repairs, and gave me an estimate for the job. After agreeing on a time for the repair, I was pleasantly surprised that he showed up slightly early in a large well-marked service truck. He greeted me cordially, was dressed professionally, and set to work. He explained the process prior to beginning the job, and explained tome why he was doing what he planned to do. When he finished, he demonstrated the pilot lighting procedure, explained the why's and reasons behind certain replaced items, and did not charge me extra for several pieces that he replaced to maintain the integrity and safety of the systems. Lastly, even though he added several additional items (pipes and valves) to the job, the estimate remained the same as that quoted me on the phone. Rick and Mr Waterheater did an awesome job and earned 5 stars from me.

Called to inquire about replacing our broken water heater. Spoke to Rick (gentlemen who actually performed service) to get an assessment and estimate. I had done some research on brands and Rick told me that they use the Bradford White brand which I found to be one of the best in performance, quality and warranty. Honestly, it was one of the best experiences I ever had with a contractor and I work in the HVAC industry. Rick was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, capable, etc. He scheduled to come out later that same day. I stopped by to check on the work and progress and was very impressed with the product, installation, the little details of quality workmanship. After discussing whether to extend the warranty with Rick I chose to pay the extra for a 12 year warranty recognizing that I now have piece of mind for the next 12 years and with the Arizona water I look forward to getting a new free Bradford White water heater in 11 years (when this one dies)!
