Affordable Plumbing, Rooter and Water Heaters

They scheduled the installation the very next day. The plumber was very friendly and helpful. My new garbage disposal works beautifully. I will be calling him in the future for my plumbing issues.

I called because my in-laws were coming to visit and the toilet in the guest bath broke. I was also having trouble with the fixtures in my master bath. When the receptionist heard we were going to be down to one barely working bathroom with my in-laws coming to town, she moved us to the top of the list and get me a plumber that afternoon. They showed up, fixed everything for a reasonable price and were very cheerful and professional. I am so grateful that I found Affordable Plumbing.

Larry came on time (actually a couple minutes early). Both leaks had their challenges. The shower in the master bath had a problem with an old corrosive pipe that was recessed into the wall. In trying to remove the pipe a piece of it broke off and stuck into the pipe in the wall. Larry was able to get that piece removed with much persistence and ingenuity, avoiding the more obvious option of opening up the wall (saving much time/money). That shower was then easily fixed. The other shower was a bit of a conundrum. The tub faucet leak pointed to the faucet itself being defective. Larry actually left to go to a hardware store to get a replacement, did so, and replaced the faucet. While charging us for the faucet (inexpensive), he did not charge us for the time (this was helpful since we purchased this service through a set-priced "big deal"). The odd thing about it was that the new faucet had the same leak problem (didn't make sense why). He got the leak fixed at the shower hear, which was the more inconvenient/annoying part of the problem, and that was that. Larry was very nice, very polite, very professional, extremely fair/reasonable, and seemed to know what he was doing. We've had some bad plumber experiences in the past and this was not one of them. We will definitely consider using Affordable Plumbing in the future.

We've needed a plumber since we bought our vacation home nearly 4 years ago, but we were never able to connect with a plumber to do the work when we were there. Finally we decided we'd join Angie's List in hopes we would finally find a plumber who wanted the job enough to show up. We couldn't be happier with Affordable Plumbing Rooter and Water Heaters LLC. We had some initial scheduling confusion, but once Larry arrived I knew he was the man for the job. He is incredibly knowledgable, he is patient and willing to explain what he is doing. He also gave us many options for projects we have planned in the future. He cleaned out 5 VERY slow drains for us in record time and we have him scheduled to come back in two weeks to replace our water heater. While he is installing the water heater we hope to have him do some other cosmetic plumbing for us, too. When we need a plumber we know who to call! Thank you Larry and Linda!

Superb!! First Linda is a complete professional in the office and despite this being a Big Deal special, she treated me well. When there was a delay in the countertop coming in she pleasantly found a way to accomodate my revised schedule. On the day of the installation, she called to let me know they were coming and about what time. The plumber came and he was professional and pleasant. He did his work, ensured there was no leaks in the installation, and installed the new faucet exactly like I wanted. I even had him look at some other future jobs as I was impressed by the job they did. So many other plumbers use special deals as the way to upsell you on other jobs or do not deliver on the promise of the deal itself, I never felt that way with Affordable Plumbing. I would use them again.

Extremely professional and curteous.... there were several pipe size differences with unit and reverse osmosis unit as well as cramped space but plumber tackled every obstacle. Delighted with service and will use again!

I was in need of replacing two faucets. One in the bathroom and the other was the kitchen faucet. Larry came out and installed the bathroom one and had problems with the kitchen faucet...needed to replace the whole sink unit. I got the sink unit with faucet and he came back and replaced the unit and valves etc. He and his son worked very well together and had it replaced and in good time. They are so very professional and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Affordable Plumbing and Rooter to EVERYONE!!

Affordable office (Linda) provided a firm quote for replacement of water heater on the phone. I placed order and she gave me a 2 hour window on the agreed upon day. On the day of service, Linda called to let me know Larry was 30 minutes out. Larry took care of everything at the install, dealing with clogged water heater drain and broken supply valve with no extra cost. Neat install and good clean up. Great service at a reasonable price - all expectations met..

I will continue to use Affordable Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs due to excellent workmanship and reasonable pricing. Larry Patterson was punctual, friendly, and professional. I was given cost estimates before work was performed and was not charged for travel time when certain items were not on his truck (a first experience for me). I have a good sense about people and I believe Mr. Patterson to be a sincere and trustworthy business person. I sincerely hope that Affordable Plumbing will be in business for a very long time!

We had a great experience with this company. I called their office to obtain information about the services we were interested in and the cost. Linda was very gracious and courteous and said she would speak to the plumber and call us back. I assumed she would call back within a few days because of the holidays. However, to my surprise she called back later that evening. Larry visited us the next day, on Sunday, to give us an estimate. Larry arrived on time and was very professional and personable. He gave us good tips on the type of fixtures to purchase which helped us avoid unnecessary installation problems thereby saving us money. He also referred us to a company that provided us with the proper type of hardware and fixtures that we needed. Larry and William completed the job in a timely and efficient manner. They took great care to avoid being messy and they left each work area in its original condition. We highly recommend Affordable Plumbing and would use them again. In fact, we've already recommended them to our friends.

Most excellent installation of my new device! All done while I was gone all day, so no problem having the water shut off for this installation. Great price and friendly service too! I most certainly look forward to using Affordable Plumbing in the future!

Afoordable Plumbing was fantastic! Larry Patterson the plumber had the job done quickly and expertly. The whole thing took about half an hour. I thought it was take a long time for this type of service. Larry made it look easy and without any muss or fuss. I found Affordable on Angie's List and bought the special deal they had advertised. It saved me some money and these folks are terrific; friendly and very skilled. I will certainly call Affordable again if I need plumbing services. Just a great experience!

I very was pleased with his professionalism and would not hesitate to call Affordable Plumbing again for any future plumbing needs. Having Larry do the work at his normal rate would be well worth it.

The service call was delayed but once the technician arrived the work was done promptly and correctly.

Larry and his assistant arrived when they said they would and got right to work. They were friendly and outgoing and where pleasant to be around. They completed every job we gave them and were done in less than 4 hours. They cleaned up and returned everything the way they found it. They took all the worn out parts with them.

Larry and another gentleman investigated this plumbing problem I've been having. The issue is puzzling. Larry believes he found the solution; however, we will need to wait to see if the recommendation he made will resolve the issue. Following a few days, I will see if the solution works. If it does, then the issue is resolved. If not, Larry said I should call him and he will come back to further investigate until we resolve the issue. Both gentlemen were friendly and professional and very patient and accommodating. They took the time to explain things to me so that I would understand. I was most willing to pay for the service call; however, Larry did not want to charge me since we are not yet certain that his proposed solution will work. I was extremely impressed with both gentlemen. Due to my lack of knowledge in certain fields, I have been taken advantage of in the past and so I am very grateful for their integrity and honesty. I will absolutely recommend this company to others.

We came home after the Thanksgiving Holiday to find water under the water heater and in the garage. We've called Larry on Monday morning and he came out within 45 minutes to look at it. He replaced the water heater and all plumbing plus fixed two other plumbing issues we had at no charge. He was very professional and completed the work within about 2 hours. He was even willing to sign up as a contractor under our home warranty, so we would not need to call another contractor.

Larry showed up on time and had everything needed to remove and replace the water heater. The workmanship was excellent and efficient. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant company to work with. I think this was a fairly standard water heater replacement job (the old one was leaking), but I live out of state and the work was performed at my rental property, so I appreciated their prompt communications and emailed invoice/receipt. I also liked that they were able to give me an accurate estimate over the phone. I did some price comparisons with competitors and their prices are fair and reasonable. It seemed like this is a very small company (2 people?) -- this means that you don't have to worry about dealing with some random technician who might not have the experience or leeway to make decisions about the job. However it might mean you have to wait longer for service. I called them on late morning Friday and the following morning was the earliest they could schedule me. I would definitely use them again if I need plumbing services for my rental property in the future.

We called at close to 6pm and he came out within 30 minutes. We showed him our problem and that we weren't getting any water to our ice maker or pot filler as well. He fixed the problem, suggested a better, more efficient, and less expensive system for us and will probably be back to install for us when we decide to get it. He worked his way through our quirky plumbing in the house and was so friendly! We would/will definitely use Larry again!! He also gave me an Angie's List coupon that I didn't even know was available:))

Water heater started to go on labor day - I just happened to hear a dripping noise coming from that side of the garage when I was out there around 1p. Previous water heater fell out of warranty in June (2.5 months prior) after a 6 year stint - so decided to look for someone new. Affordable had recent positive reviews, so decided to give them a call on the holiday, to at least leave a message to call me in the morning. As this wasn't necessarily an emergency (a slow drip), I could wait a day or two. The phone was answered right away, and I spoke with Larry's wife who gave me the lowdown on the cost and time, and we setup the work for the following day. I got a call the next day around my appointment time saying that he was running a little late, and it would probably be another 1/2 hour or so - again, not really a big deal for me. I cleared the path to the water heater (doesn't everyone stack crap up in front of it?) so that when he showed up, he could jump right into it. Larry showed up around 1:30, brief chit-chat, went over what he was going to do and cost, and he jumped to work. About an hour and a half later, he had removed the old, put the new in, re-routed the overflow pipe and I was writing the man a check. After a week in service, I'm very happy with the work and would definitely recommend him.

I gave affordable a call! They put me on the phone with Larry! I told Larry the problems I was having which was both of my bathroom showers were loosing all water pressure when turned to the cold water side. He said hey why don't I just stop by and take a look. Larry stopped by and proceeded to look at the problem and give me the best case worst case. He told me to try the simplest way first which he said I could do on my own to save some money and then if that didn't work he would come back and dig into it further. While he was there for at least and hour he taught me all about how the plumbing and shower parts actually work and how my water purification system runs, which was located outside the house and while he was looking at it realized it had been turned to bypass for some reason which I had no idea. I mentioned to him that my water pressure was horrible while we were outside and he immediately said I'll grab my pressure gauge and we will check it! It was like 32psi and it was supposed to be like 65 70! He showed me where to adjust it and then did it for me! Bam I had great water pressure it was awesome! I still had the shower problem but now had great pressure everywhere else and my purification system was on doing its job which it being off was the cause of my shower issues! All this on day one and Larry starts to walk out! I said what do I owe you and he says you don't owe me anything! I said you been here for more than hour and its like 530pm. He says I didnt even fix anything. I said I gotta give you something. All I had was a 20 cash and I said you have to take this at least he refused and said if it doesn't work youll be calling me back and ill catch you on the next go around. I made him take the twenty:) I ran to Home Depot that night grabbed the parts and put them in one shower first to test the theory it didn't work:( I called Larry he said he stop by. He stopped by and said that he had talked to a plumber friend who had run into this problem be for and that we would try fixing it versus the whole valve replacement which was going to be like 400 bucks a shower and involve cutting into the walls and things i really didn't want to be doing. Larry told me what the parts would cost and he ran and picked them up we put the the new part in one shower and it worked! We put the other part in the other shower and it didn't work. We were both puzzled but kept taking it in and out trying to figure it out finally Larry said well we never turned the cold valve back and forth on this one, so we did and it broke whatever calcium deposit that was held up free. I now had two showers working perfectly with water pressure like I had never had in the two years prior being here! The damage came out to be 182 dollars for all this work and knowledge that Larry had given me in the two days! I'm from NE originally and we are some pretty generous people there but for Larry to not charge the first day I thought that was unheard of even for where I had come from let alone for down here. He gave the arizonans a good name that day in my book! I would recommend them to anyone and I will recommend to everyone that speaks to me of a plumbing problem in the future! Customer for as long as I live here! Larry is one of the nicest people I have ever met! Thanks Larry!

This is the second time I have used Affordable Plumbing and both times have been excellent. Larry the plumber is friendly and efficient. He arrived early to the appointment and completed the job quickly and correctly. I would not hesitate to call him for any of our plumbing needs.
