Very responsive on email and by phone. Sent reminders. Arrived before the scheduled inspection time and was ready to begin the inspection on time. Thorough and very professional. Inspected areas the first inspection missed. Provided a professionally printed report out immediately after the inspection while still at the site that included excellent descriptions as well as photos. Walked me through all the items that were found and helped me understand which items were more important issues and which were more trivial in nature.

Jonathon did a great job for us. He arrived EARLY and was encouraged our participation during the inspection. He was very courteous, answered questions, offered his professional opinions as things came up, printed out the report when he was done, reviewed the report with all parties present and answered any and all questions. When the inspection was over, a copy of e-mailed to all of the parties and he did a recall search on the appliances. He was also available to answer questions/concerns that arose later. Would highly recommend.

Living in one state while purchasing a home in another and all the details that go with it can be very stressful. It was great to have the service Advantage Inspection Service provided. I was kept informed of all aspects of the inspection such as date and time , what would be covered, fees, and receiving the report promptly.

We originally were going to book our inspection with a top rated Angie's List company, however my Lender referred me to Curtis with Advantage. I was able to get an appt within a few days so inspection could be done within 10 day inspection period. Curtis was very organized when he arrived, gave me a breakdown of what the process was and apx how long it would take. I've only had one experience in another state back in 2006 and I can tell you I was very impressed with how thorough Curtis was. He gave me all the info I needed and even gave answers to question I didn't even know to ask. Although this was a new build, he pointed out even minor issues to have builder correct with pictures. It was 115 out and expected that he would not be up on roof, but sure enough he went right on up to inspect. Also spent significant time in attic doing a proper inspection of HVAC, insulation and other visible items. Very impressed and will surely use Curtis again. Nice to also get report back same day.

After inspection it did not appear that the house had any major issues. Hence we went ahead and did the closing of the house. The next day we noticed a substantial patch of wet stained wall in one of the bedroom closet. It seemed like there was water leak from somewhere and it was very obvious to me and I am surprised that the home inspector Mr. Curtis was not able to identify the issue. The entire area was soggy and wet. We called the Advantage home inspection and the inspector came and reported that there was a water leak possibly from AC pipes. He was not even sure what it was. It is appears to me that the home inspectors employed by Advantage company are not well trained and competent to recognize even the most obvious big issues in the house. After discussion with the inspector Mr. Curtis we got an email from his owner Mr. David Swartz regarding the details of the problem. However, the owner of company simply ignored that fact that his employer had missed a major water leak in the house and refused to help us. Now we are stuck with the house which needs repairs that were not recognized by the inspector who we paid for. Please save your time and money by avoiding Advantage inspection and have peace of mind.

Larry S. was the inspector assigned to us by Courtney when we called to set up the inspection. Courtney was kind and very helpful when we were gathering the info to schedule what we needed. On the day of inspection, Larry was already in the home getting started when we arrived because he had a cancellation and was able to get there a half hour early. He was given access and permission to enter when he arrived on site, so we were done sooner than expected. He was very professional and gave us mini updates as he went through his inspection. He explained all the issues he found, offered his opinion about what the root cause was, and offered a suggested method to resolve the problem. He explained features of the house and the pool that I was unfamiliar with. He went over everything with my Realtor and I, then explained everything again to my wife when she got there so she felt comfortable about it all. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Fair price, he got started early, he was very professional, he explained everything very well, he didn't leave until we all were satisfied with his findings, and he left us with a binder of great information and a detailed report including pictures. I also received a digital copy of the report that was emailed to me that will come in handy. My Realtor suggested them and the Owner/Agent of the house actually used them when the house was originally built and refers his clients to them. Again, couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Curtis was right on time and did a very thorough job. Very friendly and professional. We would highly recommend this company for anyone needing a home inspection.

They were not thorough in their work at all and have found a lot of things that they have missed in their report over the last few months. We expected that a home inspector would be more thorough in their work with checking things.

THIS WAS OUR FIRST HOME PURCHASE, SO WE DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. OUR INSPECTION SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN HANDLED IN AN EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. THE INFORMATION WAS SURPRISINGLY EASY TO NAVIGATE.

THEY PUT TOGETHER A VERY DETAILED SUMMARY, TOOK THE NECESSARY TIME AND WAS VERY THOROUGH WITH THEIR WORK.

CONTRACTOR MADE HIMSELF AVAILABLE TO US TO GET OUR INSPECTION DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER. OFFICE STAFF WAS HELPFUL IN MAKING IT EASY FOR US TO TRANSACT BUSINESS LONG DISTANCE.

THIS COMPANY DID A REALLY NICE JOB FOR US. HE DID FIND PROBLEMS. HIS REPORT WAS VERY DETAILED AND A FAIR PRICE. HE WAS PROMPT FOR HIS APPOINTMENT, PROFESSIONAL IN HIS APPEARANCE AND ACTIONS. POINTED OUT SEVERAL ITEMS THAT WERE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR US TO KNOW. WE WOULDN'T HAD KNOWN THESE PROBLEMS EXISTED WITHOUT HIS REPORT.
