ACTION Termite & Pest Control

Everything was excellent except for the finishing work; a 2nd person came out and re-did the finishing work a few days later. Ask the person who does the foaming to drill holes at the floor boards and not randomly 6" to 8" above the floorboards, and to fill the holes with spackle and not some translucent material that "can be painted over." The person who came out to re-do the finishing agreed with me; he did a great job with the spacle and now the holes are not noticeable - whereas before they stood out like a sore thumb in a highly visible area. So, I got "A" service except for the finishing job.... it was an "F" initially in that cateogry... but the end result was an "A," so I gave an "B" for the overall quality because a 2nd person had to come out. However - as I said - they fixed the problem and did a good job fixing the problem. OH.... IMPORTANT: If they foam the wall in back of the refrigerator have them MOVE the refrigerator and not drill through the opposite side of the wall. Once the refrigerator is back in place any drill holes will be hidden - whereas, in my case, the drill holes were made in a highly visible area of my dining room to get at the wall behind the refrigerator. There was no need for that, especially since "foaming" protects for only 30 days and is intended for any active infestation. In my case, the infestation was barely started, in another part of the house, and those drill holes are permanent.

The big issue I had with them was spilling the termite treatment. I wasn't very happy about the slopiness, I have pets and the treatment is highly toxic. I followed up with them about the spill, but they weren't able to fix it. They came out and consoled me about it and that made feel a little better. I would just tell their next potential customers to follow them around and make sure they aren't as sloppy as they were with me. That being said, from now on, I would start watching any company doing the work to make sure it doesn't happen again.

It’s been good so far. They have been thorough. I still have one more service left. I haven’t encountered any other fees.I feel the price is great!

The service went well and they did a great job. They sent someone out first to explain what they were doing for the treatments. They also discussed with me why the previous treatments did not work which I really appreciated.

Found termite tubes hanging in my closet. Called Action Termite and the sales rep, Jeremy came out within a couple of days. Within the week the treatment was completed. It only took one morning for the entire house, inside and out, to be treated. The workmen left everything clean and picked up.

Action Termite came back to my home to inspect it for termites at my request. It wasn't quite time for this inspection as it will be done once a year and a year had not gone by yet but I was seeing signs that the termites were still lurking. Action Termite came on time and also sent their manager to inspect the house and explained a lot of things. When we explained that there was a crack in the concrete slab that this old house sits on, they explained that's where the termites may be getting in. With our permission, they were able to drill holes near the proximity of the crack thru the grout line thru the concrete to the level of the dirt without cracking any tiles and squirt in the Termador (poison) in the attempt to rid the termites. Fortunately, I had extra grout left over from the original flooring installation and was able to fill in the holes left from drilling. This company is awesome! We have a 10 year warranty where they will come out at my request any time and spray/inspect. I recommend this company to everyone! We found this company on Angie's List and very glad we did!

Action termite showed up at the appointed time and proceeded to accomplish the task of treating the house in order to prevent termite infestation. The technician fully explained what he was doing and answered any questions that I had. Excellent service and a great warranty.

Unbelievable!! Angie's List offered a 50% discounted price for Termidor Termite Treatment, Prevention & 10-Year Warranty for $759 and I admit I was a little skeptical at first. My doubt dissolved instantly when I met with Richard Near. Richard is very professional and honest. He was clear about my prep instructions, was punctual and finished the treatment in a timely manner. Except for a few patched holes in the concrete patio, you could not see evidence of all the digging and drilling that had been done. I was very impressed and highly recommend Action Termite and Richard in Tucson and surrounding areas. To date, there has been no sign any termites. On a personal note: I found Richard to be an extraordinarily kind and polite man.

I set up an appointment with Action Termite to inspect our house for termites. The inspector arrive on the date and time agreed on. He did a complete inspection of the house inside and out and showed us where we had termite tubes. He explained the process and warranty. I did add the interior of the garage which was another $100 but felt that was reasonable. We set up a date and time for the treatment. The technician also arrived at the time and date we had agreed on. He told me what he was going to do and where he would be drilling holes and digging trenches. The holes they drilled in the concrete are barely visible. I thought they did an excellent job matching the concrete. The warranty does mean there has to be a yearly inspection to be valid and there is a fee for the inspection yearly but no fee if they have to retreat. There 10 year warranty is the best i could find and can be transferred to a new owner. They also said they would compensate me $50 for every job I referenced them to. I did reference them to my neighbor and they also treated there house. That was three weeks ago. So the only complaint I have at this point is I have not seen the $50 yet. But I'm sure as the paper work goes through they will pay. I would not hesitate to use these folks again.

The technician who would be providing the quote called us about fifteen minutes before his arrival time to let us know that he was on his way. He was very professional and gave us a quote that we were very comfortable with. When the crew came out to do the treatment they also called about fifteen minutes before the arrival time to let us know they were on the way. They did the treatment very professionally. Although they had to drill through a very large amount of flagstone both in the front and in back, the plugs from the drilling are not visible at all unless someone gets very close to them. We would highly recommend.

I was first referred to MasterTech by another Angies List company "Action Termite Control" who previously did the termite treatment at my house. Getting the referral from them was already a good sign. I have had MasterTech spraying my home for almost a year now and I definitely feel comfortable referring they're service out . They are very professional, clean cut and knowledgeable of their industry.

We have a monthly contract with Brent and he has been invaluable in spraying and caulking our home to prevent future scorpion entry into our home. Since we hired MasterTech there have been no scorpions in our home or garage. Brent is always prompt and polite during every visit or phone conversation.

I purchased the deal for Action Termite Treatment, Prevention, & 10-Year Warranty though Angie's List. After purchasing the deal, I placed a call to them to schedule to have someone come out to the house. Mike promptly came to the house two days later for an inspection. After inspecting the house and finding some termite tubes (the reason I purchased the deal), we sat down to do the paperwork. Mike went over our options for treatment and price. He was not aware that I had already purchased the deal through Angie's List, although I relayed the information to the person doing the intake over the phone. After we dot those details squared away, we scheduled the treatment. Two technicians came to the house a couple of days later (One's name was Ryan, and I don't remember the other). They were quick, very efficient, put up with my inquisitive questions, and very nice. They put everything back the way that they found it, and you could hardly tell that they were there. Overall, we're very satisfied with their service. We have since had them out again for the yearly warranty inspection, and have had no sign of termites!!

The experience turned out very well. They came out and did everything as advertised. They were pretty honest and they did not recommend interior service.

They did not clean up after themselves as they were in a hurry to get in and get out. They did need to restore the area and they did not do that upon leaving. They were on time for the service.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and so far, so good. Everything worked out good. They came out and drilled all the holes all the way around. They did the whole job. When we have suspicion of anything we call and they come out to check. They did exactly what they told me they were going to do and he did not want to take any chance with termites. Normally there is only a five year termite warranty. So far, every time I have called them they have come out so I have no reason not to trust them. Some of my neighbors have also purchased their package. I think the pricing is very reasonable. They were very nice when they were here to put it in and check it. When I called them I think they were out in two days so they were very punctual. So far I think they are very professional. They did the job right and drilled all the holes. I have brick partially around my house and garage so they had to drill through the brick every two inches. They were here quite some time to prepare for the treatment.

They were punctual, and professional. Did the work needed in a timely manner, and cleaned up afterwards completely. Discussed what they had found, and how they were treating it,and what to expect. We were very pleased with the work done,and the attitude and workmanship of the technician. We will continue to use them, and recommend them.

Richard came out and confirmed the presence of the termites. He also did a thorough check of the entire property to make sure we hadn't missed any. He returned the next day to perfomr the treatment, on time and in a professional manner.

I needed a quick inspection of a home I was interested in buying. Although RJ is a busy fellow, he made time to visit the home and do the inspection on short notice. He is very professional and the service was excellent.

On the initial free inspection, Jeremy found infestation in areas where two other termite companies did not notice.
