ACTION Termite & Pest Control

The technician thoroughly inspected the house and found some suspicious areas so another visit was scheduled to deal with a potential area where termites might be. A follow-up is scheduled for this week. We appreciate that our annual inspection comes with free treatment when something is found.

They were quick to respond, very efficient and professional. They treated both inside and outside home. I was pleased and would use them again!

That service turned out fine. It was a basic pest treatment. I believe they sprayed inside.

Brent arrived on time to inspect our house and determine that we indeed had termites. He discussed the treatments and warrantees available. I had several questions and concerns about the process and about the product that would be used. He answered each question in detail, and when he wasn't sure about one of the answers, he researched it and got back to me. On the day the service was to be performed he was actually able to come out early to prepare the home before the technicians arrived to spray, thus cutting down the time I had to be away from the house (for health reasons). He went above and beyond in making sure the house was left in the condition I requested. Fabulous experience! I would highly recommend this company.

Our technician arrived early, unfortunately I was on a phone call I could not end. He said he had another client to service and would return. He was back almost exactly at the time he quoted. I warned him I would have many questions and would be "picking his brains" for answers. He spent all the time needed, my questions, and his suggestions, were completely covered. I finally got a decent nights sleep and could stop fretting over this new adventure. We moved here from California and are now on a new learning curve covering pest control. We have great confidence with this company. When we first moved here we used a different service but the technician kept canceling our appointments and we finally found this company using Angie"s List. Our technician's name is Zachary and he get's 10 gold stars from us!!! When we signed up with A.L. we received a coupon book and this is how we found this company. We used the coupon it was only $49....best money we've spent in a long time.

They did a good job, but ran into a problem. They were drilling into?foundation to get the chemicals down to saturate the soil beneath the concrete. They are not supposed to do that when there is a retention or cable system running underneath the concrete.?They made a mistake in thinking the concrete did not have it. As they were drilling?through they hit the concrete cable. If they would have hit that concrete, basically the whole foundation under the house?could have been damaged. I am assuming it did not cause any damage, but I don't know for sure. That was a big concern?and I was not too happy about that.??I paid a little over $1,000 for 10 year termite control. The most attractive thing about doing business with them is the discount they had. Nothing really stood out in terms of their service.

Performed regular spray of the property as always and was professional and on time.

This was our second visit from MasterTech. Zack is our technician. What a nice young man. He is friendly to our dogs (which is a big deal to us) and is professional all the way. He also took the time to explain the different kinds of ants which I found fascinating. I really appreciate the level of customer service from MasterTech. Love these guys!

The initial inspection was very thorough and found all the tubes, even in the garage. The Estimator was very knowledgable about termites and infestation. He did a great job of explaining what was needed, why and how it would be done. We agreed up front on the work, signed a contract. They arrived on time and finished early. They explained what they would do. We consulted on some details and they got to work. They were quick and thorough. They explained the process for the warranty very clearly. The termites can be around for as many as 90 days after treatment but there is absolutely no sign of them at this point. These people are good at what they do.

everything went great. guys were on time and did great work. i haven't seen any sign of terminates. the only small issues was the items they had to move away from the house to dig the trench were not put back but i was able to take care of that.

Everything went well with Zachary and his assistant. Zachary was very professional and took the time to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend this company.

The pros: There were two workman - they were prompt, professional, and thorough, and everything was completed within a day. The cons: Clean-up did not include the accumulated pigeon droppings on the ground. Although we have seen a definite decrease in pigeon activity, we are still seeing pigeons on our roof daily. I was told that, for an additional $250 a trap, they would come back out and trap and relocate the pigeons that remained, but after spending a total of over $1100, I could not afford the traps, too. I was not expecting a final bill of over $1000, though I admit I am not savvy re: the costs of pigeon remediation.

Zach took his time to explain the process thoroughly and, although offered further services, was not pushy in his sales. He explained that the first spray kills about 50% of the population so I was not surprised to still be finding beetles after that. When I called to tell them this they were good on their 30 day warranty and came back within 2 days to do a complete re-spray.

So far it has turned out well.? It went fine according to a real estate agent who was there.

Excellent experience. Scheduleing was easy, and i got phone calls to warn me when they would be there, although I knew when to expect them. They were prompt, pleasant to interact with, informative, efficient, professional, and overall exceeded my expectations in every respect.

Seemed to solve the problem

It was a Big Deal purchase. They were nice and everything. I purchased the Big Deal for the ants because I had ants in my kitchen. They showed up on time and everything and the gentleman was very nice but I really do not think they took care of the ant problem at all because the ants reappeared in a couple of weeks. They did try to upsell me. They said, "Well, if you want to use another thing for the ants, then you need to pay an additional this and that" but I have had another Big Deal from another company as well and they came out and it lasted at least six months, if not longer. This one only lasted like two weeks. When I told them about the main problem I wanted addressed, they tried to upsell me.

They squeezed us in their schedule the following day after our call. We were not satisfied with our previous exterminator company. We were still seeing lots of scorpions in the house after several months of spraying. They were professional and friendly when they arrived. They assessed our home for entrance areas, explained the options and their cost. We decided to have them do an initial spray and sign up for a year contract. Based on what we had been quoted over the phone without any one actually looking at our home the price was very reasonable. We also decided to have them do a home shield to tighten up our homes exterior which would help with scorpions entering and also be a tax energy savings. There were large gaps at the bottom of the stucco on the side of the house were we were seeing most of the scorpions. They arrived on Saturday and worked all day due to the extra large gaps. We are happy to report we have has only one super sick scorpion in our home since! We are very happy with the service we received and will continue to us them in the future.

I think they were reliable. They came when they said and they came at the last minute which was great. Two young guys own the business and they were very good. They are honorable, quick, and do a very good job. The price was okay.

I purchased 1 Angie's List deal and Brent agreed to provide a second service at the same price for our other house where my in-laws live. This company and I had extraordinary encounters with scheduling and completing our service, and through it all, Zach, the tech, and the woman who did the scheduling (sorry, forgot your name) were amazingly understanding and flexible, with no hint of frustration. They kept reaching out for an opportunity to complete the pre-paid service, but were not annoying. When Zach and his assistant did finally come to spray the house, they were extremely polite and professional. They seemed to do a thorough job (The only reason for a "B" rating in "Quality" is that I have no idea yet how successful it was.) They were quick to spray inside and out, and to completed all the necessary paperwork. They advised me of cost-saving deals I may want to take advantage of, and were helpful in scheduling the service for our second property. We plan to use them on a regular basis for both homes.

Brent did an excellent and thorough job in cleaning out the large pigeon nest. He made several trips up and the ladder at my 2 story house and even climbed onto the roof to install and screw in the screening. I was very impressed by how hard he worked on a hot day. I would definitely recommend him for any pest control services.

They did a fine job! The treatment took about 4 hours over the course of two days to complete. Paul and his assistant were very nice and efficient. I was very satisfied. As far as the actual quality of the work, it may be too soon to tell. It takes 90 days to find out if they actually got to the colony and treated effectively.

My main concerns were ants around the pool. The technician told me it would take a week for the ants to go away but I would see visible results on the other insects within days. Well, the ants disappeared the next day, which appeared to be a good sign, but the pool was back with ants in a week. No other insects appeared dead around or inside the house like I have seen with prior services. Spiders on the ceiling of my front and back porches were still alive and I had to go to home depot and buy insecticide from them
