Description of Work: Replace both tension springs heavy duty, replaced both cable wires with heavier gage wire. Replace the spools that the cable wires wraps around because the wire is heavier that needs heavier spools. Replace (3) bearingswhere the rod on top rolls. Replace some brackets and sold me a spray can for rollers that will prevent lubicated ($15) and adjusted the chain that pulls door up/down

Description of Work: We needed our garage door fixed, all he did was try to sell us a new system, he had no knowledge of how to fix a garage door. We had to get someone else out to fix it. Yet we had to pay for this guy do absolutely nothing.

Description of Work: Very responsive and good installation. The only thing that wasn't great was our salesperson. He spoke to us as if we illiterate about garage doors and immediately jumped to telling us the door had to be replaced instead of repairs that could have been done. After checking with other companies, he was correct, but it was not a pleasant experience. We did purchase a new garage door from A1, as they had it in stock and could install it the next day. The installation was professional, quick, and high quality.

Description of Work: All the above ratings were true. However, they were unable to fix my noisy garage door, even after their saying I needed new rollers ($150) on the door. There was a part of me that wondered if I was being upsold from my $35 Angie's List coupon, but the service man seemed so earnest and concerned about the noise and being unable to fix it, that I didn't dwell on it. |
