A1 Garage Door Service, LLC

DO NOT use this company under any circumstances. We went with them and paid $2,000 for a new garage door opener. We paid this amount because we were told we would have a lifetime warranty on it. After we paid and signed everything, the technician said oh we can?t honor the warranty unless you upgrade your springs for $800-1200 more because your door is too heavy. So we asked them to take it down as we only paid this much to receive the warranty. We were told to wait for the technician to talk to his manager. After a lot of back and forth they are unwilling to do anything and stated all sales are final. Upon talking to some coworkers, they had a the same or similar experience. DO NOT USE THEM. You will regret it.

They were prompt, and very transparent with all applicable steps.

Kind, funny techs (Justin, Cannot recall the other guy) honest with me regarding my situation, explained things at a technical level j could understand.

The contractor was not fully honest on discussing all fees, he was more concerned with upselling and would not install the product that they offered they would install.

I received a text when Jesus was on his way. He explained everything and all of our options and pricing. He did a 29 point inspection. Once again, gave us upfront prices. Fortunately he was able to fix the problem and get the new remotes working even though our Genie motor is very old. Josh, the serviceman from A1 Garage Door, was on time, did a complete inspection of both garage doors, found the problem, serviced completely both doors and within a few hours . He explained everything he did, and reprogrammed our garage openers. We were very happy with this entire process.

A $300.95 project turned out to be almost $1,400.00. Talked to a woman on the phone and she was more interested in if this were an insurance claim or if I were going to pay for it. There were all sorts of *extra* charges on the bill. I had to get another company to come in and fix the problem they were supposed to fix. I surely will not be hiring them again!

Had a broken spring. Tech was professional, answered all my questions and finished the job in about an hour or so. Straightforward with price and warranty info.

Our technician was Alec and he was so informative and really knew what he was doing. He went out of his way to answer all of our questions and made sure that we were all set and satisfied. He came the same day that we called which was a big help since our car was stuck inside the garage. We were very pleased.

A1 was very professional and charged a fair price to repair our garage door. I felt the repairman was quick and presented us with all of our options before moving forward.

the technician came in a timely fashion, and notified he was on his way. He quickly discerned the problem and resolved it. The cost was a little steep, but the peace of mind is well worth it. We will call them again if the need arises.
