A QUALITY ELECTRIC LC

Came out same day to give us an estimate on work to be completed. Able to schedule the work quickly. Arrived ON TIME! Took a few hours to complete and cleaned up after himself. Had to come back a couple days later as two outlets were not reconnected the first time. But again arrived ON TIME and quickly remedied the situation. Even more, answered all my curious 4 year old's questions about his tools and tasks performed!

Great, he gave me helpful advice on some other electrical questions I had.

The man came as scheduled and diagnosed excessive heat resulting from too-low-capacity dimmer switch (300w). Unfortunately he did not have the 600w switch he wanted to put in, so for temporary use he put on a simple on-off switch. Another guy came as scheduled (4 days later) and installed the 600w switch. It works fine. The job would have been cheaper--less labor charge--if they hadn't had to come twice.

They were prompt in returning a phone call, telling me they had to reschedule because of some situation with their employees. The person that came out clearly knew what he was doing. The price I paid exceeded what I was quoted. It had to do with what kind of lighting I described and I had anticipated a cost that I could flip one switch and have both sconces come on at once, but instead I had to have a separate switch for each sconce. The work was done well.

We had two other quotes to run electrical and set up lighting for an expansion of my Optometry office. I was looking for both a quote and design help on what we needed to best light our eyeglass frames. One company took 10 days to give us a quote, and did not return calls, the other quoted us quickly, but had a lighting design that was all fluorescent which is not good for retail spaces. A Quality Electric LC came in lower than the other two quotes, and made recommendations that ended up making the new area look great. Using their recommendations we used some standard fixtures, halogens, recessed lighting, and LED lighting that works together perfectly. They were clean, on time, and professional. We paid less and got very professional results.

They came on time, installed what they promised and called me to confirm the job was done.

Easy to contact. Sent electrician out on the same day to diagnose problems. Electrician Dave S. was very courteous and efficient. Could not repair Rittenhouse doorbell chime (company no longer in business and no parts). I needed to select a new doorbell and transformer. He discovered problem with low-voltage landscape lights (transformer was putting out too many volts and burning out the lights). Scheduled two other visits to resolve all issues, including installing a new doorbell chime/transformer and new transformer and fixtures for low-voltage lighting.

DANNY WAS GREAT. IN LESS THAN AN HOUR I HAD ELECTRIC RESTORED TO HALF OF MY HOUSE THAT HAD BEEN INCONSISTENT FOR SEVERAL MONTHS.

After a very disappointing experience with a company recommended by our real estate agent, we came to Angie's List to find a company to perform electrical work requested by the buyer of our home. Quality Electric was thoroughly professional, from the first person on the phone to the electrician who performed the work. They were polite, they arrived on time, they answered questions and explained things, they were incredibly close to their estimate. They cleaned up after themselves. They tolerated our dogs.

In January while pouring the concrete slab we asked A Quality Electric to drop off the Ufer (copper ground) that was required to be installed before slab inspection. My concrete guy offered to install it, if it was dropped off. The scheduler called me on Thursday afternoon to say the Ufer would be delivered by Friday 5 p.m. No one showed up, and the inspection was called in for Monday. When I realized Saturday, they no-showed, I called the emergency line, only resulting in an unprofessional tirade from the manager. They did install the Ufer Monday morning in a sloppy manner that the inspector made us tighten. I was instantly sorry we gave them 1 penny after they took a $1,900 deposit. February brought unreturned phone calls for 10 days; Mike Street's excuse was to blame me for calling the office instead of his personal cell phone. He said he couldn't find messages on his desk. After the panel was changed, calls to fix problems led to foul graffiti written on new wood studs.

The tech arrived on time and did great work. He was finished in just a few hours. The installation was just as I wanted it. The lights look and function great!

David showed up on time as promised and proceeded to do an excellent job installing the switch. He even programmed it for me to turn on and off at the appropriate times. He was fast and courteous in his work.

Very, very professional and reliable. Constant communication about service; very experienced technicians and very professional work. I've had a lot of electrical done in my house over the past 15 years and these guys were the best, but they are very pricey. When it comes to electrical work, I don't believe in pinching pennies.

I called and told the scheduler that I needed an interior chandelier installed and wired to an existing ceiling outlet. He said it shouldn't take more than two hours at a rate of $97.50 for first 30 minutes, then $45 per 30 minutes thereafter. I would have preferred to have someone come out and give me an estimate based on a personal assessment of work to be done. He scheduled the work for the following day at 7 AM. The next day the technician (Will) called about 6:30 AM and said he would be at the house at 7 AM. He was right on time. After looking at the chandelier, he first thought he could suspend it from the existing fan box in the ceiling. When he then read the installation instructions he discovered he would have to get into the attic to install a brace due to how heavy the chandelier was. He eventually got it installed and it works fine, but I was billed for 3.5 hours of work + materials. Had I known it was likely to be that expensive I would have secured several bids.

Job 1: These people are just great. Fast service, no games, fair price, very nice people to work with. Job 2: They arrived on time the day they scheduled the work, got right to it and finished that same day. Honest, direct and easy to work with. I was happy with the work they did, and would call them again. Actually, this is the second time I brought them in.

I was having a problem with the built-in microwave tripping the circuit breaker (it's on the same circuit as the refrigerator). I called the company and they promptly scheduled and electrician to stop by the next day to investigate. He came on time just as scheduled and was polite and professional. Since the circuit was not overloaded he suggested a replacing the breaker (vs. adding a new circuit which would cost $545 as we have a flat roof). So far this solution has worked fine.

They were very clean, precise, and their prices were good. They did everything like they said they would and at the prices they quoted. He was very nice and I was comfortable having him here.

They did it very quickly and efficiently. I was impressed with how clean and conscious of cleanliness the electrician was. They were here when they said they would be and I think they are very fairly priced.

They were not very flexible, and there has not a lot of follow-up. They gave us a time block of 6-9, but I told them I wouldn't be available after 8. They didn't show up before my wife and I had to leave, and we have not heard back from them.

Quality Electric came out right away the same day that I called. They were really good. They were honest, professional and considerate. I highly recommend this company because they seem to have good values.

They came in, I told them what the problem was, he trouble shot it and fixed it quickly. The prices are always a little high for this kind of work in my opinion. I would recommend them to others.

It went great. We called them mainly because the bathroom light was not working but there were a few other tasks that I wanted an electrician to look at. He came for what I thought was an estimate but he fixed two of the problems right away!! I was thrilled! He then looked at the more difficult issues (broken outlet and switch for outdoor lights). The outlet had been poorly installed and had shorted out. I didn't realize what a fire hazard it was! Instead of fixing the outdoor light switch he asked if I liked the current set-up and suggested a photo-cell for them. He quoted it right there and came back two days later to do that project. It was a great idea and I really love the outcome! The $435 includes buying a new light and bulbs for the bathroom, labor, and all other parts and equipment. Well worth every cent!

He was pretty punctual. He called ahead of time to tell me he was coming. He was very quick with the work. He got it done in less than a half an hour, so I didn't have to pay more than the initial service charge. They were a little bit more expensive than other companies, but they were able come out immediately.

They arrived on time, with plenty of people on hand to do the job quickly. They were finished with both jobs in about three hours, and cleaned up the areas (master bath and kitchen) completely. The work was excellent. There was one small problem with a cabinet that bumped into the new light fixture, but that was easily fixed.

Quality Electric was fantastic! They came out to do a estimate that was spot on. They scheduled the work within the week and it was done quickly and professionally.
