A&K does awesome work at very reasonable rates. They are prompt and meticulous and the best part is if you need them to they will come out for special occasions as well, they did when my parents came to visit, which I appreciated immensely.

TERRIBLE! The sales guy will tell you all kinds of things which never get written down and never done. All parts of the remodel were very late. The tile looks good. The pebble technician is patchy, there are several areas of dents and crevices on the pool bottom. The worst part was the pool light. We had another repair company out who said we needed complete new wiring from the breaker box. We told the A & K guy this and he said he would include that fix for free. When it came time to fix the pool light, all they did was replace the light and then call us to say we would have to pay for an electrician to finish the job. I then called to speak to the owner who later called me back and told me I was harassing his office staff because I told them how dissatisfied I was with their service. He also tried to tell me that it is normal to have dents and crevices in pool plaster - clearly not true. I wished I had checked the list before hiring these creeps.

It took six months to complete. It failed county inspection twice. The ad stated "Swim, Grill and Play For Under $25K." A complete automated Pebble Pool (Jandy Aqualink RS4 System & remote) 6' Masonry Built In BBQ (tile top, stucco siding & stainless steel grill). Complete backyard landscaping (500 sq. ft. sod, curbing, plants, trees & drip). I didn't get the free shrubs, trees, BBQ, or BBQ Island. I added a spa, waterfall, & a play fountain (the fountain was mysteriously removed before completion for no apparent reason). I was offered a tree instead. There were some sloppy sub contractors (that often didn't show up when promised). I paid $13,000 over the basic ad & didn't get even the basic package offered in the ad. I was told that A + K wouldn't make money if they built me everything in the ad. The first contract was destroyed & rewritten because I was told "a rookie" used an old contract. The plans were redrawn, then the price went up considerably, & the perks disappeared.
