the repair was done with top quality parts, no gaskets or seals were re-used - all new, and because there was algae in the pool that i did not even recognize as such they killed all of it for me (i had been using the wrong kind of treatment)

They are excellent. They are very quick to respond with an issue. They have never missed a week of service. The worker who does our pool is very polite and attentive. He is great.

I was afraid that one of my filter elements was damaged because DE dirt was being pumped back into the pool. Adam took a look at it and pulled out the backwash handle and found a broken o ring which was allowing the filter to backwash a little back into the pool. He replaced this and was gone in 10 mins. I am very satisfied. So to summarize about 12:45 I found A's pools review on Angie's list. Called and left a message at about 1 pm and Adam called me back at 2pm, and been here fixed my problem and left 10 mins ago. Its 2:40 now I'm still waiting for my former pool company to call me back.... :)

Wonderful! Adam returned my phone call the same day. He was out the next day and diagnosed the solution to the problems I was having. I have used around 5 different pool service companies in the eight years I have had my pool and have never been completely satisfied with them. Several of them have cost me more money and made more problems than I had to start with. I am so glad I found Adam. He did everything he said he would do. He said he had to come out two days in a row and did so. He is knowledgeable, professional and respectful. He only does exactly what is needed. He is completely honest.

Called to see if I could get a service call and they were there in thirty minutes. They evaluated the situation, checked the equipment, and gave me honest answers. We scheduled the installation of a new motor for the following morning (a lot cooler in the deserts of Arizona.) Bright and early as promised they returned and in about ninety minutes our pool pump was running smoothly again. I had gotten the run around with the big national pool repair company, was frustrated and tried Angie's List for some quality service that I could trust and a fair deal. I got all of this with the first call! We will be using A's Pool Service & Repair for all future pool equipment repairs and maintenance. Thanks for your prompt, friendly service!

I just moved to Phoenix and this house had a pool I was unfamiliar with. I needed someone to show me how to take care of it. I went on Angie's Llist and found someone close to my home and called him. Adam picked up the phone and said he would be over in an hour. Wow! He came over and took the time to teach me all about my pool and we took the filter apart together and cleaned it. He was very patient with me, explaining the workings and even added chemicals. All he wanted in return is Gas money. How sweet is that! I was so happy for his knowledge and willingness to show me how to take care of my own pool, for almost nothing, that I doubled his gas money in gratitude. I feel Adam is very trustworthy and anyone who needs anything for their pool, Adam is your guy. I know now if anything breaks, I am CALLING ADAM FIRST!

Adam is the absolute best!! He responded to my call the same day, came out the next morning and did the work. Spa is sparkling! I would highly recommend Adam to anyone needing pool or spa service. I will use him exclusively in the future.

I can't say enough about Adam. I've been having one problem or another with my pool for over a year. I replaced the filter system and things were working great. But I began to have air coming into the system and noticed my Barracuda cleaner was losing power and would stop after a few minutes. I had a larger company listed here with rave reviews come out and inspect and the problem was misdiagnosed and cost me $400+ between buying another indwelling pool cleaner and the visit to my house. It took Adam all of 3 minutes to diagnose the problem. I turned the pump on, he heard the sound of the motor and said that's the problem. Replaced the motor and it's been smooth sailing since. My pool looks awesome!

Had a problem with my pool vacuum. A's came out the same day that I called and solved the problem without charging me. I have since been using them for weekly pool service and am pleased with the quality and price

Adam was great. He answered my call on Wednesday where I told him that I needed to have the sand in my filter replaced and was also interested in an overall diagnosis of my pool and equipment. Adam showed up a few minutes early (fantastic!) and checked the equipment front to end. He noticed that the pump was not taking a full prime and backwashed my filter, which fixed it immediately (two previous pool services had not been able to fix it). He provided recommendations on pool care regarding acid wash, chemicals, and stablization and was on his way in about a half hour of time. This is how business should be run! The team has been very proactive in helping me understand the system and getting it up and running as it wasn't in the best shape from the previous owner. I will retain Adam and team to do the weekly service. I appreciate the effort that has been put into place and have no reason to think this effort will diminish based on the interactions I've had with them so far.

My pool's cleaning system wasn't working properly. The pop-ups on the bottom of the pool were popping up but not shooting water to push dirt toward the main drain like they're supposed to. Adam showed up on time to diagnose the issue which ended up being a missing part. He quoted me a very reasonable price for the repair. Adam also suggested I have the DE filter serviced prior to the summer months, so I had that done as well. Adam needed a day to obtain the part needed for the repair. He came and performed the repair and filter cleaining the following day while I was at work, so I didn't need to take any time off from work. My pool cleaning system is now working like it should. I definitely plan on using Adam in the future for my pool service/repair needs.

I had recently moved in to new house and was ignorant on pool maintenance. Adam provided quote to clean DE filters and took time to walk me thru standard maintenance so that I could perform it next time. I was thoroughly pleased with work done, and have already have used Adam for other pool issues.

No problems and job was done quickly and I have had no problems with my pool since the filter was fixed.

Their service was fine. I ended up going with another company.

We returned to our home after 10 days away and found that our pool was green, gross, and murky. There was a note from our usual pool service provider (we had not discovered A's Pool Service and Repair, yet) that stated that he thought one of filter's grids was probably torn. I also saw that he needed to administer 4 packets of Shock to the pool. The pool smelled like chlorine and was disgusting looking. Since it was late, I waited until morning to call our normal pool service (again--not A's). Neither of my calls were answered or returned (although there was an email reply later that afternoon). I found A's on Angies List and spoke directly to Mr. Smolinski. We were able to make an appointment for the next day. Adam called 10 minutes before his arrival and was absolutely on time. He went out to the pool with my husband, quickly diagnosed the problem, and gave us instructions on how to easily fix it. He said that since it was such a minor thing, payment would not be neccessary. We wanted to at least compensate him for his time and gas. Instead of accepting our payment he simply asked that the next time something in our pool does require repair, that we think of him. We will definitely use this company in the future. The technician was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and honest. I will recommend A's to any and all seeking a reputable pool service and repair company.

We have been highly satisfied with Adam's work from the very first meeting.

Al was very punctual, arrived right on time as was scheduled. His knowledge was very encouraging to know the problem would be solved. He eliminated one problem at a time in order to find the issue and did not do everything at once, which could have cost more. I would definitely recommend him and I will use him again with future problems.
