THESE ARE THE FACTS, the member bought a 89.00 dollar ceiling fan install trough Angie List, we called to set up a time, and right away he started complaining about how Angie List charged him for 2 fans, and I informed him they would refund him the other fan, then she said he over drafted is account and now owe the bank $32.50, and they would not pay, I informed her that I have nothing to do with that, she started complaining about Angie List, and how they are not a good company, EXACT WORDS, that should of been a clue, we arrive at the resident and knock at the door, member answer the door and said nothing, we said we are here to hang your fan through Angie List, he said nothing, we asked if we could come in and get started, he let us in, from the time we walked in the door he was rude and being very disrespectful with rude remarks and condescending attitude, we get to the room and she keeps asking us if we want to buy the old fan, we kept saying no, it was a old fan and the pull strings have broken off inside the fan and the glass bulb was stuck on the fan, we remove the fan ask where he wanted it, and again being very rude said put it in the kitchen, we go to lay it in the kitchen and the bulb broke, in a loud and rude manner he started saying your gonna pay me for that bulb, we said nothing walked back to the bedroom and started putting the fan together, he was right there in the hall way behind us, he said do you know how to hang a f_cking fan, THAT WAS IT, WE HAD ENOUGH, we will not and do not need to be constantly disrespected, as we were being as polite as possible, and said we are done get your money back from Angie List, we are out of here, he started yelling what did I do, what did I do, WE couldn't get out of there quick enough, then he said you will never get another job though Angie List, we grabbed the ladder and proceeded to leave, as we walked by him he started screaming you tried to assault me, you tried to assault me, you have a great day sir, we responded, then he said to us, 2 times, I will kill you, I will kill you, we turned around and said NOW your threatening our lives, he replied yep, again we said you have a great day, and left out the door, we received a phone call from him a few minutes later and he left a message saying I called the police and I'm having you arrested for assault, and the police was there we tried to call back with no answer, he kept calling saying you assaulted me and the police are here, we never herd from anybody since then until we seen this review, have no idea what fueled his anger, maybe the double charge of the ceiling fan and the over draft of the account and the fee of 32.50 dont know. We were just there to hang the fan and leave.. those are the facts

Description of Work: Technician arrived and asked what services did I need. I explained I had some issues with the electrical and I needed troubleshooting performed. Technician explained they did not do troubleshooting and he did not know who told me that. But, he can check the electrical box to make sure the fuses were good. Stated, "You have an attic, it's hot, I'm not the one to go up there on a day like this..." Technician suggested I request a refund.

The member purchased the $89.00 electrical safety inspection from Angie's list, the address we had was a empty house, across the street, the member came from another house with a different address we did not have, we get inside the member started explaining that she had some handy men rewire her house and she was experiencing some problems, with that, I explained the electrical inspection did not cover that type of work, Inspection only just what it says, and advised her to call the handyman back to cover there work,its impossible for us to know how they may have wired the house, this was a older house and allot of work may have been done through the years, or even if it was up to code, there may have been buried j boxes up in the attic covered by installation and impossible to find, and with the temperatures above 100, its 150 in the attic, and for safety reasons we don't get in the attic after certain part of the day the electrical inspection covers Main electrical panel secondary electrical panel meter box smoke detectors gfi outlets, safety concerns only, and does not cover any trouble shooting, we will be removing this offer from Angie's list due to the confusion on what this covers. how you were able to get your concerns taking care of.. ,

Description of Work: My refrigerator stopped running due to GFCI tripping for unknown reasons. It would not reset, so I put my refrigerator on an extension cord. The electrician showed up a couple days later and by that time the circuit was functioning properly. He just repluhged the refrigerator into the outlet! I had another issue with a noisy bathroom exhaust fan; in that case the electrician showed me how to fix the problem. All gratis. I will definitely call 24 hour Valleywide again in the future!

Description of Work: Most recently, David installed a digital timer switch for my porch light and installed 4 new outlets in my bathroom. Also, a few months ago, David installed a whole new electric panel on the side of my house. He is professional, fair priced, and does quality work. I will definitely call David the next time I need electrical work that is beyond my ability.

David arrived promptly at the time agreed upon and with brisk professionalism performed the change out. He reinforced the ceiling box that holds the fan. The coupon deal worked great. We plan to use him for another project.

The electrician responded to my call on a Sunday morning. Stated he had another job, gave me an estimated time. He called to say it would be just a little later than expected due to previous appointment. Arrived in good time, completed the work satisfactorily and I was very pleased with the experience. I will use 24 hour electric again.
Description of Work: Aluminum wiring in outlet was smoking. Outlet was replaced and an amp test performed.

We just purchased a new eco-friendly electric vehicle. An electrician was needed to upgrade the panel as it was dated - old. We searched Angie's list as we wanted someone 24hour and convenient to our needs. We located this company. Even with no comments - recommendations; we opted to try them out. The company was fast, communicative, professional, timely and cost effective. The job was not one day therefore the same courteous and communicative professionalism maintained until the job was completed. We would recommend this company and will use them again when electrical services are needed.
