1 800 Got Junk

When I contacted Got Junk I had already broken down about 1/2 of the many cartons I had used in the move. I asked if it made any difference if the cartons were broken down or still fully assembled. I was told it would not matter, that the "men" would take of it. When the workers came they loaded the boxes into their truck as I had them, some broken down, but some fully assembled. Because of the assembled boxes, an entire truck was filled. I was charged for an entire truck load. Had I not been misled and broken down the boxes myself, the boxes would have used a fraction of the space in the truck, and I would have been charged much less money.

Excellent overall service. Office staff provided a phone estimate and offered next-day service. Dispatch kept us informed of arrival time. Field technicians provided an on-site quote, with no obligation to go forward. The two men were prepared and equipped to do the job, and to solve any problems that got in the way. They had to take out a section of our gate to move the Jacuzzi--then they put it back and restored everything to it?s original state--very cleanly done. They were courteous, friendly and professional. We didn?t have to do a thing. It was costly, but worth the high-quality, worry-free experience. We would hire them again.

It wasn’t cheap but it was a good experience; it was a fine experience. They removed and got rid of stud that I couldn't. They got stuff out of the house and out of the shed that was left here by the previous owners; things like doors that were never installed. They were about two or three guys and they were pretty quick. It was several hundred dollars but I was glad to have it gone. Understanding that you can’t put everything into landfills, and that you do have to pay more for certain things, there were no toxic chemicals or anything like that but what I consider construction waste, I thought was a nice job. I didn’t have to touch anything; I just had to show them where it was. They sent guys that were big and would have no problem lifting that stuff. I had old mattresses, which they hauled away too.
