I am absolutely satisfied with the work done by Chris Wahl. He is a man of integrity exemplified by his work ethic and behavior. Any A/C issues I experience in the future will be issues brought to the attention of Wahl Air. My Mitsubishi is working like new once again. And beyond the eyes of anyone seeing this review I will also be telling others I know how much I value Chris...his honesty and the quality work Wahl Air has done for me over the years. By the way I asked Chris since I live on the West side how far West does he go to work on A/C units...asking if he would go to the Buckeye area? Chris didn't hesitate for a moment and said Yes he would service units in the Buckeye area. I may have written one or two reviews in my life and the reason for this review is indicative of how pleased I am with the work done by Chris from Wahl Air. Thank you Chris for your amazing service and repair of my Mitsubishi unit.
Description of Work: I had a Mitsubishi Split-Type Air Conditioner model MSZ-HM18NA that was not cooling...barely blowing any air on high blower and dripping water. I called Wahl Air in the late afternoon on 8/24/22 and explained my problem to the receptionist. I explained I had previous experience with Wahl Air as I have been a customer for over 10 years and had several different A/C problems corrected by Wahl Air including having a compressor installed a few years ago. The lady on the phone asked me if I could wait on a brief hold. During the hold Chris Wahl was contacted and made aware that my unit was not working. The lady came back on the phone and said Chris would be calling me shortly...this was around 4:45 PM. Chris called me and I explained the Mitsubishi problem...Chris and his dad Dennis had previously installed the compressor in a different A/C unit and Chris remembered me after several years. Chris stated he would be out the next day between 8-11 AM and that he would call 30 minutes prior to his arrival to let me know he was coming. As promised I got the 30 minute call and then Chris was promptly on time and began to work. Chris quickly started disassembling the unit removing several plastic pieces of the unit. One of the offending issues was a slow movement of air which was caused by gunk on the rotating blower assembly. Chris sprayed the assembly with cleaner and then hosed off the blower part. Chris then unclogged the drainage tube that had caused the water to flow onto the floor. While he was at it Chris sprayed the cooling coils on the unit with cleaner. After cleaning up some of the plastic pieces where the water had collected....Chris reassembled the cleaned unit and turned on the power...and the air got cold!

They installed a Mitsubishi system that works great. The temp on that side of the house is easier to moderate now. Installation was less than one day. Great job.
Description of Work: Needed a small wall mounted ductless system for the living room which gets all the afternoon sun.

This was a great experience. I have one bedroom that has about 4 external walls and could never be cooled like the rest of the house. Wahl came out and looked, advised me what may work best, then installed it. Mr Wahl came out for the look and estimate and was through and quick. One week later two gentlemen arrived to install my new split system. They were professional and personable and took pride in their work. I really did not know what was involved in this installation until I witnessed it. From installing a new circuit breaker and running the new line across the attic, mounting the wall unit in the bedroom and the very complex installation of the compressor and required equipment, what a great job!!

Prices were competitive, response time outstanding, crews professional and knowledgeable and they ALWAYS arrived when they said they would. We were also impressed at the complete clean up done after every service.
Description of Work: We own a few rentals in Sun City and have used Wahl A/C many times. They have done minor repairs and two full A/C replacements.

I wanted to establish a relationship with an Air Conditioning Service and am very happy with Wahl Air Conditioning.
Description of Work: Chris Wahl did a service call to check my two (2) heat pumps before the summer season. He showed up on time and was very professional. Changed my filters for me (that I had purchased) & adjusted some air returns to better cool some areas.

We prefer to do it that way and pay upfront than to pay for a maintenance fee with another AC company where I don't need anything on my air conditioning unit. We thought it was a good idea at first but we found out that it's not really beneficial. They've always been really good. They're good about coming out in emergencies. Their price was very comparable. The quality of their work was really good. They're pretty much on time when they said they're going to be here.
Description of Work: I went to back to my old AC unit company which was Wahl Air Conditioning. We have two units and they normally deal with that. If we have any repairs, they go ahead and take care of it. They're the company that put the AC unit on our second house.

Wall installed our air conditioner for us and other neighbors over 12 years ago. We have them service it every year. They have taken good care of us. One time our air went out during summer and the were able to get to us the same day. My son is a new home owner. His air recently went out. Other companies could not come out for 36 hours. Wahl came out and fixed the problem. It was not serious. My son was on the roof with him. He explained everything to my son. My son said he was a very good guy and will be using Wahl too.

Description of Work: I got a complaint from an annoying neighbor and called them from Angie's list recommendations. They cam out immediately and the technician was very professional and knowledgeable. Not only solved the problem but also answered other questions I had, potentially saving us tons on the electric! They will be our guys from here on out. My only regret is that I do not remember the technician's name to give praise to.

We received bids from three contractors for this large (and unexpected) project. Wahl came in with the middle bid but with better equipment. John came out to do some measurements and to gather some information that is required for the APS rebates. They started the work the following week. The project took two days since it was two units (one full day for each) Three man crew for the install. Everyone was very professional, courteous and did a great job. They placed protective sheeting down to protect the carpeting and plastic liners in my husband's closet in order to minimize the mess. Would definitely use them again!

Although my escrow closing was delayed Wahl was able to hold and then installed the AC unit as my VA escrow stipulations dictated. Due to the 2010 hail storm in Phoenix there as a general shortage of AC units to purchased from all vendors. My problem, if a new AC wasn't installed no VA closing. It was a very stressful time for our family but Wahl's team worked with us to make our home closing work. I will continue recommending Wahl for their service and quality of work.
Description of Work: Installed a new, roof top, American Standard 5 ton (2 compressor ) heat pump. This was my second purchased from Wahl. A year earlier I installed the same unit on another home I owned. Wahl's crew also removed and seal up the hole left from removing a 30 year old evap. They also installed 2 roof top none electric air vents that I had purchased from my local hardware store. The price also included a 10/12 year warranty on parts/compressor.

I chose this company for this service, because I had good luck with them in the past. They do a great job. For the replacement of the air handler they had to tear out some of my ceiling. They were very considerate in how much they tore out since I was going to need it fixed afterwards. They did explain everything to me as well. I don t remember the exact price for this service but it was reasonable.
