Mike and Ivan both came out on separate days, had a great conversation, seemed to want my business. We changed ideas along the way and Thursday May 18th said he would send me a bid on Monday. I never received a bid so on Wednesday called and left a message which was not returned. He had mentioned that they were having trouble with their email but I emailed and phoned and have not received a call back or a bid in 2 weeks. Even if they weren't getting my messages I would think someone would check in with me. I got my hopes up for something I've been waiting on for a long time and now I'm back to square one looking for someone else. Thank goodness I didn't give them any money or I would have the police involved at this point.

Ivan came to look at our property on Nov. 9, 2015 to check on a drainage problem we were having from a gutter in our front yard every time it rained. Water was pooling up around the foundation of the house. We decided to have his landscaping company install a 30 foot long drainage pipe leading from the gutter down to the street and create a dry river bed with river rock to cover it. The work was started the very next week on Nov. 16, 2015 and completed the next day, 11-17-15. They tested the pipe with a hose when the job was complete to make sure it worked properly, which it did. They cleaned up everything and left the property looking great. The job they did is not only functional, but it also looks very nice as well. We were very happy we went with this company and would use them again for other services. They are very friendly and nice to work with and very patient at answering questions. We enjoyed having them.

Ivan is a very patient guy. My wife and I had initially contacted Ivan back in September when we were thinking about what to do with our backyard.We ended getting a pool built instead of just landscaping. I told Ivan that we needed some time to determine our plan and that we would be in touch. Ivan remembered and contacted me asking me what we had been thinking and feeling. After several other projects (pool, pavers, and electrical) I wanted to be done before landscaping, I finally contracted Ivan to come in and almost complete the backyard. We had them do some mounding, uplighting, the drip system, curbing, rock to match our front yard, and vegetation. There are a few things I decided against having him do at this time but might have him come back out to do later. Our backyard is approximately 2900 sq ft. It took his crew approximately 4 days to complete the job. I was worried with how the mounding would turn out (and still am cautious since it seems some areas aren't fully compacted but should hopefully settle soon) since we have seen some pretty horrendous mounding jobs around the neighborhood. Overall, I think the mounding turned out great. The uplighting and drip system work well. We're happy with the trees, but some of the trees he picked out are interesting. I'll be interested to see how they mature. The only two issues I had for the entire project were the placement of the uplighting box and they didn't reprogram water times for me in my drip system controller. The uplighting box needed to be moved over slightly so the latch on the pool equipment panel could be opened. The second issue isn't a biggie, but I think what if I hadn't gone out to check what were the new watering zones. But one thing I will add. At the end of every day, the crew cleaned up the job site before leaving. That was a very nice touch, because no one wants to come home to a mess. Lastly, Ivan was able to help us create what we envisioned we wanted our backyard to be like.
