This is a GREAT company to hire. They were friendly, efficient, cleaned up after themselves. They were just awesome. My project required two separate teams - one to install the new dryer vent, which is AWESOME!! And one team to repair the drywall. Both teams were just great. I haven't worked with service folks this professional in a long time and I just could not be more satisfied than I am. Our a/c unit was buzzing and randomly shutting off. Gerard got back to us same-day of initial outreach, and sent Jesus and his colleague, who were were fantastic, knowledgeable, professional, and super fast. They even helped us wire our smart thermostat which only took a couple of minutes. We would definitely hire them again.

I am a homeowner who is out of state. Gerardo was extremely proactive and responsive when I called him. Within two hours he had done an assessment and provided me a quote that was 15% lower than the next best quote (I had received from another company). Within a day his team had installed the hvac system and had it operational. I highly recommend Sun Devil heating and cooling.

Experience with Sun Devil was very good and I highly recommend them for AC service. I called and left voicemail. Owner, Gerardo called me right back to explain process. A separate rep, Joe, came down the next day to inspect. Both were very friendly and professional. The team was ready to install new AC unit within a week of my first call. Prices were very fair and team was very professional throughout.

Gerardo, the owner, came out to explain everything. All of our questions were answered to our satisfaction. We were anxious to get the work done because we were without heat for a week. However, we wanted to have time to discuss the proposal. We decided everything looked good, and set up the work for the next day. Roy, Jose and Zack came out, removed all of the old units and installed a beautiful TRANE system. The heat felt really good last night.

Went well. Tech explained tests as he was performing work. Never had anyone do that before.

That was fine. We found the part that was wrong and we needed that to be replaced. We were very satisfied. I don't have a complaint about them. I was very pleased with what they did. They came and they did the job. They showed me what needed to be done. That was a good experience. They did an excellent job.

Servicing went well. I felt (and still feel) some confusion around being told by the technician that usually there is no need to add Freon even with a 15 year old system but then Freon was added. I had also read this recently from Angie's "R-22 should never need to be replaced. If your system needs R-22, that means you have a leak. Rather than continuing to pay these increased costs to replenish the leaking R-22, I recommend you find a qualified heating and cooling company to repair the leak." I was not told about a leak nor was there mention that a leak was fixed. Due to it being an older unit needing R22 Freon, the Freon was not included like in the original Angie's deal but it was discounted from $90 to $71 The unit ran much quieter after servicing and I was shown how to hose it down to remove dust and dirt. Service was quick and very professional. I remain very confused about a possible leak that was not mentioned and the need to add R-22 Freon. I am unsure if there was actual Freon added and why. I did not observe the technician while he worked.

They were awesome. I was a little bit afraid about since my air conditioning was on my roof because I couldn't see what they were doing. It was a really good deal and they were really legit.

Fabulous service. The employee who checked our air conditioner was personable and knowledgeable. He replaced a small part, cleaned both of our air conditioners and now the noise that one of them was making is gone. We were pleasantly surprised by his friendly manner and we felt him to be extremely trustworthy which is a rarity these days.

But I have a coupon for a free service the next time. Because they honor the warranty when I got a problem with the compressor and thing. Good very good I bought a unit from them for thirty two hundred dollars like four years ago, that was a very good price. I have them out every year twice I think or once and there was only one time that the wiring wasn't done right but then they came back and repaired it for free. They come out quickly, I think they are on time usually, I think they are professional.

Okay. The person came to check the AC was excellent with good manner. Unfortunately, he put the wrong capacitor on my AC blower. Due to this, the appliance warranty was almost voided and I had to argue with company. The problem was not the blower capacitor, it was the blower motor. Truly speaking-- this AC tune up is truly useless. I spent $69 for tune up for nothing!!! You would n't be upset if you get tune up by Sears. I am putting rating 3, as I do not feel good to give bad rating.

My A/C units are 18 years old and I fully expected that there would be some repairs or service needed. I was pleasantly surprised that everything checked out fine. No sales pitch for new units or unnecessary work. Very honest, I will call on Sun Devil Heating and Cooling again.

Technician (Jose) present himself 4 hours late. (It was schedule at 8:00 AM and he arrive at noon). At his arrival he checked that the thermostat was on. Then he only did a 4 minutes HVAC diagnostic and decide to not add coolant or check something else. (He additionally leave a trail of sunflower seeds shell in my backyard). The company call me later to know if I wanted a quote for 2 new AC units and ask me on how was my experience, so they mention that the technician was new.

Not good at all. Purchased july 24th, waited 3 days for contact, emailed thru website and here we are 10 days later with no contact for an appointment.

I had six different companies come out to do estimates and I went with Sun Devil because they gave me the best price as well as their high rating with Angie's List and being associated with the BBB. They did excellent work. They also installed a condensate safety switch at no cost to me. The service rep that was supposed to come out was backlogged because they had an emergency with a client and instead the owner came out to take care of my request. He was very accommodating and even gave me his direct line for any further service needs.
