Very reliable. Showed up when he was scheduled. Explained all repairs and showed damaged pieces. Air conditioning is working my more efficiently since the repairs were done. I intend to use them in the future

In the inspection process, discovered unit had a slow leak of freon; replaced it for a fee. Provided a quote on new unit. I appreciated that there was no sales pressure to replace unit. Inspection met my expectations for the fee.

We needed our 2 AC units checked-up since we'd never had them checked during the two years we've owned our home. The Technician, Kevin, called about 30 minutes prior to our appointment to let us know he was on his way. Once he got here he was very helpful. He did the 31 point inspection and hosed the units down, he even showed us how to do it and recommend we do that every few months. He checked our vents in the house too and told us the one in our master bedroom needed to be changed. Outside of that, he said our units looked great, were top of the line and were functioning normally. The appointment went well and scheduling was very easy. I would definitely use them again.

They were all very professional. It's always nice to hear that our air conditioners are ready for the summer. He asked if we wanted to clean the air filters and ducts, but explained that it wouldn't save on energy (like some other businesses infer.) He explained it just helped keep the dust down, and helped with allergies. So we decided to have it done. When they came to clean the ducts, they got the cover off some light fixtures that I couldn't reach. Very helpful!

They were very quick getting back to me for an appointment, which was made for 2 days later. The tech arrived early that day, which was fine. He did a lengthy inspection and tuneup of the AC and was very courteous and professional. He explained every thing to me that he did, didn't try to push me to have anything else done, which I appreciated and was very thorough. I do recommend their service and I would definitely have them out again.

I called to make my appointment and was told tune-ups are not done on Sat but they had availability late enough in the day to help me out. Very nice. Tech changed my air filters (I provided them), went into my attic to service air handler, then outside to service the heat pump. Told me I should get my air ducts cleaned but there was no pressure to have it done. Service Tech left me with a quote and he was off. Very friendly. All went well.

VERY pleased with the service. Quick to respond - even after hours on on the weekend. Technician arrived on time, was nice and professional. Showed me the testing he performed and explained the issue. Discussed replacement options with me and provided me with a good price on what unit was best suited for my home. Later that day I had some more questions about the unit I was purchasing, called the office after hours and left a message. Technician called back within 15 minutes and took time to answer my questions in detail. Did not get the sense he was trying to sell up or sell me something I didn't need - I have had others give me a list of suggested upgrades and repairs that ran into thousands of extra dollars. Sun Devil did not. They seemed to be in the business of offering what is needed and building a business based on reputable service....not upsells. Tech will be back in the morning to install the new unit which comes with a long term warranty. The ability to offer quick service in the AZ heat is appreciated!

I purchased the service coupon and was lax about setting an appointment. The scheduler was persistent in reaching me to schedule. She was very nice. The technician arrived at the scheduled time. He was very professional and very nice. He immediately went to work and reported that the unit was set for summer. He said that I should not have issues with the unit; that it was functioning very well. He did not try to sell me anything. In fact, he told me that I could get along fine with less expensive air filters. He even returned after leaving to inform me that he had set my thermostat low to check the unit, and I should probably reset it to a comfortable higher temperature. I would definitely recommend this company.

Sun Devil Heating and Cooling went above and beyond to make this installation the easiest home improvement project we have ever done. The work was completed in less than a week from purchasing the deal (6 days), and from the very beginning, there was constant communication. Breanna kept us informed every step of the way, with phone calls to confirm when they were starting, what the next steps were, and in the end with a follow up after the job was completed. In addition, Jason provided detailed information of exactly what was being done, with photos and explanations of what was needed and why. He also provided a final written and photo inspection via text. We are extremely impressed with the Sun Devil team and only wish they could do all of our other home improvement jobs - we highly recommend them and would definitely use them again!

Wonderful experience! Technician was prompt, professional, honest and very knowledgeable...Took plenty of time to explain how the coils work in my unit...In addition, he was respectful of my home and took his shoes off without asking to walk on my carpet...Will definitely use them again!

Before finding Sun Devil through Angie?s List, I had another company out for a replacement quote. I had always thought I had a 2.5 ton system and a 5 ton system, and that?s what I was quoted on. After said company ?thoroughly? went through my units, they quoted me on what I thought I had verses what I actually had or really needed. At no point did they even mention I was incorrect with my assumptions. Sun Devil was the first to point out that I actually had a 2.5 ton system and a 3 ton system, saving me quite a bit of money! They made sure I actually knew exactly what I had. Thank you for that! After a few months of researching, I found Sun Devil?s pricing to be very reasonable. During their initial visit, they were very thorough and did an excellent job of reviewing not only what I had, but what I actually needed. They then laid everything out based on what they felt I needed now and what I could wait on. They were very accommodating with working around my budget. They also took the time to address all my questions and concerns and made sure I understood what was going on. When Jason and Kevin left, I felt very comfortable with them and was anxious to move forward. During the installation, Jason was on top of everything. We initially had a few minor issues, but he was on top of it and had things quickly resolved. I was impressed with how well he handled everything. They were also very neat??They put mats down in the areas they worked and cleaned up after themselves. This was a messy job and I was impressed by how they left things when they left. Jason followed up a few days after the installation was complete and made sure everything was working correctly and that I was still satisfied. He also sat down with me and gave me an opportunity make suggestions on anything him or his company could better. I felt he truly cared about how I felt about Sun Devil and the work they did. This was not a show up and do the work as fast as you can and take your money job. Jason took a vested interest in the project and my overall satisfaction. Overall, Sun Devil did an excellent job with everything I needed them to do and I have no doubt everything has been done right. Jason, Kevin and team were always prompt, polite an great to work with. I?m very confident I made the right choice with Sun Devil and have finally found an AC company I enjoy doing business with! :-)

Jason and his team of professionals did a great job installing our new air conditioning unit. Great price on the air conditioner. With the exception of a delivery hitch (not the provider's fault), everything went smoothly and quickly. I would use the company again.

The company was very responsive and polite but very aggressive in the sales of extras needed to provide an air conditioner for my home. The price doubled and I cannot afford it at this time. The owner said he would provide a refund at the end of our meeting.

We love the air conditioner and they did a great job installing it. The cleanup was great and we had no complaints at all. They have serviced it regularly since then. Some miscommunication occurred about 6 months ago, causing us some hesitation about continuing our relationship with Sun Devil. When Jason Clayton, the new General Manager, realized there was a problem, he called us and extended his apologies. We appreciate the fact that Mr. Clayton cared enough to ask for another chance and we are happy to report that his technician arrived today as scheduled to service our air conditioner. He took the time to explain everything he was doing to my husband and checked out our thermostat. Thank you, Mr. Clayton, for making things right.

It was good and they gave me an excellent price on the unit and they couldn’t be beat. They came back out and even re-did the wiring they did incorrectly for me for free. They came out when they said they would and they responded right away when I was trying to get a new part. The technicians have been really good.

It was very good. We got a quote from another company and their quote was twice as much as Sun Devils. They did very well and they did everything in one day. It has a warranty with it as well. The owner even came out and helped to do the install witch was nice to see. They cleaned up as much as they could and I didn’t even notice.

My husband and I have a rental house in Phoenix, the current occupants called to let us know that the A/C was not working. I called Sun Devil Heating and they sent a technician out ASAP. Sun Devil had to call the occupant to make arrangements to get into the house and check out the A/C unit. I got a call the next day from the technician explaining what had happened. The issue with the A/C was resolved within 24 hours.
