In the inspection process, discovered unit had a slow leak of freon; replaced it for a fee. Provided a quote on new unit. I appreciated that there was no sales pressure to replace unit. Inspection met my expectations for the fee.

We needed our 2 AC units checked-up since we'd never had them checked during the two years we've owned our home. The Technician, Kevin, called about 30 minutes prior to our appointment to let us know he was on his way. Once he got here he was very helpful. He did the 31 point inspection and hosed the units down, he even showed us how to do it and recommend we do that every few months. He checked our vents in the house too and told us the one in our master bedroom needed to be changed. Outside of that, he said our units looked great, were top of the line and were functioning normally. The appointment went well and scheduling was very easy. I would definitely use them again.

They were all very professional. It's always nice to hear that our air conditioners are ready for the summer. He asked if we wanted to clean the air filters and ducts, but explained that it wouldn't save on energy (like some other businesses infer.) He explained it just helped keep the dust down, and helped with allergies. So we decided to have it done. When they came to clean the ducts, they got the cover off some light fixtures that I couldn't reach. Very helpful!

They were very quick getting back to me for an appointment, which was made for 2 days later. The tech arrived early that day, which was fine. He did a lengthy inspection and tuneup of the AC and was very courteous and professional. He explained every thing to me that he did, didn't try to push me to have anything else done, which I appreciated and was very thorough. I do recommend their service and I would definitely have them out again.

I called to make my appointment and was told tune-ups are not done on Sat but they had availability late enough in the day to help me out. Very nice. Tech changed my air filters (I provided them), went into my attic to service air handler, then outside to service the heat pump. Told me I should get my air ducts cleaned but there was no pressure to have it done. Service Tech left me with a quote and he was off. Very friendly. All went well.

VERY pleased with the service. Quick to respond - even after hours on on the weekend. Technician arrived on time, was nice and professional. Showed me the testing he performed and explained the issue. Discussed replacement options with me and provided me with a good price on what unit was best suited for my home. Later that day I had some more questions about the unit I was purchasing, called the office after hours and left a message. Technician called back within 15 minutes and took time to answer my questions in detail. Did not get the sense he was trying to sell up or sell me something I didn't need - I have had others give me a list of suggested upgrades and repairs that ran into thousands of extra dollars. Sun Devil did not. They seemed to be in the business of offering what is needed and building a business based on reputable service....not upsells. Tech will be back in the morning to install the new unit which comes with a long term warranty. The ability to offer quick service in the AZ heat is appreciated!

I purchased the service coupon and was lax about setting an appointment. The scheduler was persistent in reaching me to schedule. She was very nice. The technician arrived at the scheduled time. He was very professional and very nice. He immediately went to work and reported that the unit was set for summer. He said that I should not have issues with the unit; that it was functioning very well. He did not try to sell me anything. In fact, he told me that I could get along fine with less expensive air filters. He even returned after leaving to inform me that he had set my thermostat low to check the unit, and I should probably reset it to a comfortable higher temperature. I would definitely recommend this company.

Sun Devil Heating and Cooling went above and beyond to make this installation the easiest home improvement project we have ever done. The work was completed in less than a week from purchasing the deal (6 days), and from the very beginning, there was constant communication. Breanna kept us informed every step of the way, with phone calls to confirm when they were starting, what the next steps were, and in the end with a follow up after the job was completed. In addition, Jason provided detailed information of exactly what was being done, with photos and explanations of what was needed and why. He also provided a final written and photo inspection via text. We are extremely impressed with the Sun Devil team and only wish they could do all of our other home improvement jobs - we highly recommend them and would definitely use them again!
