Rogoz Electric LLC

We smelled ozone and noticed a scorched outlet plate in a little-used guest bathroom. I called several of the electricians recommended on this site and I'm still waiting to hear from the others. In contrast, a Rogoz technician named Rob Irwin called me back within 30 minutes and said he could be at our home within the hour. I met him there and he proceeded to explain why the outlet burned up - a loose connection that had likely been that way since the home was originally built and was just waiting to fail. He said it would take an hour at a cost of $155 and in that time he could also check all the outlets in the two other bathrooms that are on the same breaker. It turns out that two of those were poorly wired, too. Rob was polite, professional and informative. We will definitely use Rogoz Electric again.

We had three estimates/quotes which ranged from pulling new wire in through the old underground conduit to retrenching and replacing the conduit and wiring. ROGOZ Electric suggested new above ground conduit and wiring along the base of the house with all new wires. He also cleaned up all the junction boxes and I think very importantly checked and tightened ALL the connections within our electrical breaker box (some were found to be loose.) They helped prevent future problems too! While this was not the least expensive route, we believe it was the best. We are now assured that because of the new above ground wiring we will never have this problem again. This assurance is worth the extra cost. The electricians were right on time and the work was done in an organized and clean way. Their van was new and clean and the electricians looked sharp. This was all important to us as it was an indication as to the quality of their work. We would certainly use them again.

He is very fair on the pricing. I like him very much. He lives close by and drops in for any little thing that I need his help for.
