LAVI REMODELING

When I met him I asked about a warranty and he said "you have issues, call me and I fix issues". He almost caused us to not close on the house because he had not finished the work 3 days before close of escrow as required. The day we were supposed to close, his work was still the last issue and we told the title company to not close until he is done. He finished at 2pm that day and the drain on the side of the house was not put at the lowest point where the water pools (its like putting a drain in a bath tub two inches above the bottom of the tub). We closed on the house and asked him to fix the drain. It took 12 phone calls and about 30 text messages for him to come to the house and fix it (we closed Aug 8 and he came Nov 5! In the meantime the pool deck settled and cracked so we asked him to fix that too. After all that effort getting him to the house, he finally did "some" work. He lowered the drain a bit but not completely, and filled the crack with something that was white and did not match the deck, and said he would need to come back to paint it since he did not have the right color to match (as if he didn't know that would happen before doing the work). That was the last I heard from him. I gave up trying with him. It took more effort to get him out to repair his crappy work than it was worth. I'm in the process of speaking with other contractors to fix Lavi's work at my own expense. I'd avoid him at all costs unless you appreciate promises that never get fulfilled and loads of excuses why his work is so poor and how he can't come by to do the work he said he would do months earlier!
