Rick and Barry removed all the carpeting from my house and replaced it with a beautiful laminate. All the baseboards were removed and placed on top of the flooring, and it looks beautiful. The closet shelves that they built are top notch and would highly recommend them to anyone that needs some work done. These guys always show up early and stay late if the job needs to get done in a timely fashion. I have also used them In the past to remodel two bathrooms. They did a great job and am very happy with the work they completed. I love my house and never want to move now!!! Thank you GAIO CONTRACTING!

Removed and replaced glass shower walls, that abutted the spa, without any damage. No damage happened to the spa which left it in sellable condition. They had to repair a hole left in the wall from the plumbing of the spa....no one can ever tell where the hole was! Rick and his helper Barry carefully and perfectly matched tiles and paint. Rick also installed three safety bars in both bathrooms. They cleaned up after themselves each day. It took three days. Gaio Contracting has done other work for me in the past: Rebuilt two walls, added a closet and hung a security door in a back room. Installed overhead cover of fiberglass and wood over a tiny back "yard." Installed tankless water heater. All of these were in a condo. There were no complaints to be had by the town or complex. There have been sundry little repairs. I have seen results of his work/remodeling in before/after pictures of his projects, and am always amazed and impressed. His prices are always within competition. His advice always experienced. His knowledge of local codes and zoning laws is above excellence. He and his helper are always very professional and courteous. They adhere to schedules within their best ability, and if something happens to change that, Rick always calls. Would I recommend his company to anyone? YOU BETCHA !! I promote Gaio Contracting to anyone (and then some) seeking remodeling/repairs/painting...anything and everything Rick does.

It was done in a timely manner. Mr. Gaio stayed to make sure I was happy before leaving and he was very quick about getting things done. I would use him again if I run into anymore problems

Rick and co-workers were prompt, friendly, and took special care in cleaning up daily. No equipment or work tools were left at the site in the evenings after work hours--even though the job lasted three days. The "pop outs" were neatly and sharply edged. The concrete sidewalks and patios were left spotless! The paint was applied with a thick coverage and no bleed through or missed areas could be found! Stucco is very rough, but the coats of paint showed excellent coverage. Worn wood surfaces were scraped and repaired before paint was applied. Perfection!

Rick was amazing (is amazing). I can't remember the exact cost of the remodel but it was fairly priced (I changed a few things so not sure of exact cost) He pulled out an old bathtub and shower and we replaced the area with a beautiful walk in tile shower that I just love! There were a couple of minor issues afterwards, which is to be expected on this kind of job. Everything was taken care of in a timely fashion and I've never been made to feel as though I was a nuisance. (Although I might have been a little bit). Subsequently I've called Rick back for a couple other things and he is always willing to help. Some things were minor and I wasn't charged and other things he's done were very reasonably priced. Rick exemplifies what good customer service is all about!

In addition to the broad range of general construction knowledge and skill required to demo and rebuild a bathroom, this job required re-configuring and re-routing plumbing to move the water feed for the shower from the east wall to the west wall of the space. The contractor also incorporated built-in storage nooks into the design of the new shower surround. In addition, during the planning stage, Rick Gaio recommended a way to reconfigure the vanity cabinets to provide much-needed drawer space without sacrificing under-cabinet storage space. We couldn't be more pleased with the result and the project was completed on-time and on-budget. Prior to undertaking this project, Gaio Contracting performed a number of small home improvement projects for us, such as replacing a hot water heater, installing an interior window, installing an exterior downspout, installing an outdoor water faucet, and fishing walls to install additional light fixtures, switches, and outlets in various rooms. No matter the size of the job, we have always been pleased with the quality of their work and their attention to detail. We have also recommended Gaio Contracting to friends with consistently good results.
