It went very well. He was very professional and explained how to use this product.

We wanted a security alarm that would benefit my father (89 years) who had recently come to live with us. I told Mr. Maldonado that I had had an emergency shortly after my father had come to live with us and could not even remember to dial 911 - but instead kept pressing 119 in my attempt to get medical help. I had been unable to contact my husband who could not hear his cell phone because he was coaching a game and could not reach my daughter because she had taken my granddaughter to the doctor and shut off her phone. I explained that this had been a frightening experience for me and I did not want this kind of an experience to happen should I need emergency help with my father. Mr. Maldonado assured us that the alarm system could be set up where my elderly father or our pet would not set off the alarm if they got up at night and walked down the hallway or around the room. However, it could be set up to sound a warning if a door was opened that led to the outside. He explained that this feature was great for people with pools and small children and people who may have elderly parents who might "wander" out the door forgetting where they live. We told him we did not have either a pool and my father was not a wanderer but saw the importance of this system. Knowing that the alarm would notify us where the occurrence happened i.e., if a glass item/window was broken the alarm would notify us in what room or door. My husband and I were impressed and sold on the service. The examples Mr. Maldonado gave us and showed us through his tablet put us further at ease to see how simple it was to arm and disarm the system. He also advised us that it is not a good thing to keep garage door openers in cars that are parked outside of our garage. This was something we had not thought of and were very grateful to be made aware. Mr. Maldonado gained our confidence through his knowledge of the service, the products and because he is very personable. We felt assured we could ask him even to repeat some of the explanations because we wanted to assure ourselves of the features we had chosen on the security system. He patiently listened to our questions, answered them and asked us if there was anything we did not understand or were unsure of as he explained. Very good experience - we were sold.

It went extremely well, they came at the time promised and installed the new equipment. Quickly and efficiently, friendly customer service. Got my check in the mail as promised with no fuss. Great company so far, have not had any issues with them. Very polite and friendly and prompt service when needed. I have recommended them to my friends and will continue to do so.

Immediately upon moving in to my new home I met my next door neighbor. It looked as if he was having work done on his home. During the conversation he described to me how his front door was rammed open during a mid-day robbery the day before. He said all that was taken was a cell phone and a jar of change. I assessed that his burglars were obviously very strong and/or resourceful, albeit not very bright, organized, mature or professional. That is a dangerous and unpredictable combination to me. I contacted a security company to come out the next day to give me a quote on a home security system. The representative that came out was professional and knowledgeable. The problems began when his tech came out for the scheduled installation late and not in uniform or driving a company wrapped car. He also didn't know which system to install, so he didn't have some of the parts available to begin the job that day. I went back and forth with the company for a few days until... Isaiah from Envision Security Inc rang my doorbell and asked me if I was interested in a home security system. Of course I was. He listened to me yet didn't take the opportunity to speak poorly of his competitor. That won points with me immediately. We finished the details in about 30 mins. His tech, Ernie, came the next morning on-time and in uniform. He was super knowledgeable of the system, had all the required parts to complete the job, and was finished within an hour. That includes the time he took to identify all the parts to us, how to use them, the sign for out front and a handful of window decals. The company called later that day to check on the installation as well. Very happy with the company so far. I feel satisfied that I made the right choice in security companies.

They did a very good job. I think their price is the same with everybody else.

Overall I was very pleased with my experience dealing with Envision Security, although there is still some room for improvement. They offered a superior product bundle with no up-front costs for the same competitive monitoring rates as other providers. Their consultants worked hard for my business by offering as much value as possible at a competitive price and did a good job comparing their offering to others on an apples to apples basis. Two areas they could improve on are responsiveness and professionalism. It took me several tries over a few days to reach them using the phone and website contact methods. When I mentioned this to them, they did do a good job of following up, owning and apologizing for the mishandled contact requests. My subsequent contacts have gone more smoothly. On the professionalism side, during our consultation they contacted a competitor, JPG Security Analysts by phone posing as a potential customer in order to get some specific information for comparison. That was a little awkward and I would encourage them to research their competitors' offerings more thoroughly ahead of time. In terms of the two companies I evaluated (JPG and Envision), I chose Envision because of my experience with the owner, Darryl Johnson. He personally responded to my concerns about my experience and addressed all my other concerns with candor and humility. While JPG's owner sought to discredit him, Darryl and his team were professional and did not respond in kind. I see now why his customers and his team regard him so highly and I am happy to recommend him to you; my friends, neighbors and the Angie's List community. Sincerely, James Reagan

This is the first time that I have ever called a company that just randomly showed up at my door. My rep's name is Shota. Him and another rep just randomly were canvasing the neighborhood and showed up at my door one day. I have been looking for service and they were very professional, not pushy and had technology with them that impressed me (ipad with videos about their services etc). I decided to call them and get a quote. They installed the system for free...I was told it was about 6000 or so in equipment that was put into my home. It was a 5 year contract...locked in pricing for the 5 years. About 45/month is the monitoring fee. I love that the technology is not tied to a phone line. They use wireless technology with a backup battery so that the phone line and power just cant be cut. The actual unit is very easy to use, interactive and I have access from my phone to arm and disarm the device. There is even a GPS service that is tied to my phone, so if I leave the house and forget to arm the system my phone will alert me and remind me to arm. Pretty cool. If there is an alarm that goes off the monitoring company will actually be able to speak with me 2 way through the panel and even listen in to hear if there are people in the house that shouldn't be (like someone breaking things, or stealing things etc). I am extremely happy and very impressed with Shota and the company.

Envision Security came out to upgrade my security system. The new system I have is not only a better security system that covers more entry areas of my home, but also a wonderful home automation tool as well. I love that I can turn on the porch lghts remotely before pulling up in the driveway and that I can set my thermostat from work! The automated door lock has been a godsend also. With so many children coming and going from my home it's nice to know the youngest is never locked out and I know when my eldest's boyfriend is over because he has his own code and the system sends a text message to me whenever it's entered. Being able to remotely arm, disarm and access the system from any smartphone is my favorite feature though. I never need to worry about whether I set the alarm or not, did I lock the door, etc. My technician, Ernie, was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He was on time and did a superb job in a timely manner (even covering the hole in the wall the last security company made!). He thoroughly explained the system to me and how to use it. I strongly believe this is one of the best investments I've made to my home and highly recommend Envision Security to anyone looking to protect and/or automate their home or business.

This system is one I can control stay or go alarm easily, plus control temperature. I added the phone app so once I am in my car I set my alarm remotely and upon return disarm it. It was a quick, clean install with a lesson on how to operate it. It provides mr with peace of mind with a low monthly fee. If I should exceed the 60 second input for diasarming and I enter the correct code there is a grace period and police are not automatically called. They made an appointment for the install, showed up on time, install was accomplished without a hitch with the tech letting me know what he was doing. He then spent time explaining the features. All done in a short period of time.

Overall, I had a great experience with Envision. I have been a customer for about one month now and the service has been great!

The overall sales experience was good. We didn't feel any sales pressure to purchase and quite a bit of time was spent answering our questions. On the day we made the decision to switch to Envision and sign the contract, the process was extremely rushed although we were assured that we would receive adequate training on the new system from the tech doing the installation. Additionally, we learned that system features represented by the sales team were not 100% accurate. Training provided by the tech was extremely rushed and inadequate. The customer service team that contacted us after the installation showed sincere concern with our feedback and has been working with us to ensure all of our questions and concerns are addressed. The customer service follow-up has gone a long way to re-establish my faith in Envision. Because of this, I would recommend their services.

The gentleman who arrived for the install was a contractor, not in uniform but properly dressed for the job and brandishing the proper paperwork. He was thorough and seemed sincere about what he thought would work best for my homes layout and my needs. He worked quickly and cleaned up after himself and gave an all-inclusive presentation about the panel and using the system answering each questions in turn. After the install, I have had no problems with the system whatsoever, and love the Alarm.com wireless app for my Droid X. The app allows me to SET the temperature of the thermostat in my home when I am away to save energy. Oh NO! forgot to turn up the thermo to 80 degrees when you left the house? No problem. Can' remember if you set the alarm or not? No problem! Just start the app, set the alarm and or temp and no worries. You can also be notified by texts when the alarm sensors are tripped in your home. Meaning, what door at what time etc. It is what I have always believed a home security system should be. The biggest security improvement is that the system no longer requires a phone line (which is easily cut to disable the call police/fire department feature). The system uses a mobile phone on an isolated power supply in a locked steel box to call emergency personnel even if the phone lines are cut solving one of my major concerns about the previous alarm system. All in all, this was a good experience and I will be recommending Envision Security and Alarm.com to friends, family and neighbors.

So far they have been very good. They are worth the price.

We had another security company, but changed to Envision because they are more high tech. They have a lifetime service warranty. I had a really good experience with them.
