When they arrived, the tech looked at the leaking pipe outside. He said he couldn't even look at it or do anything, because it was not covered under my home warranty. He then came inside, and I told him about the vent pipe outside, saying it was a code violation, and that it needed to be moved. He said he wasn't sure if he could do that work, and that he would have to talk to his boss, but he warned me that it may not be covered under the warranty, either. I offered to pay for both of those things, but he never brought the issues up again to actually plan to start the repairs. When he looked at the sewer pipe under the toilet, he said it was good, and the pipe was still useable. I had removed the toilet, so when I asked him to put the new toilet on, he told me he wasn't sure if he was able to. He called his boss, and he told him not to put the new toilet on, since I had taken the old one off myself. He was at my house for a total of 20 minutes, and that was it. He did not do any of the things I had requested when I made the appointment, and I had to pay the $60.00 service charge. I was appalled at the lack of service and professionalism the company showed me.
Description of Work: I contacted Do It Right through my home warranty company. They came for the appointment, and I wanted them to look at a corroded pipe under my toilet, to relocate a sewer vent pipe from underneath the a/c unit, and to check a leaking pipe in the front yard.

Our company was sent to the residence, as part of the home warranty the customer has, with that company.Our tech diagnosed the repairs, and reported his findings back to the home warranty co.Per the agreed contract the customer has with the home warranty co., the claim was denied.Our tech then gave the customer a bid for the repairs, which the customer declined.Service tech collected the $60.00 service fee,which is again, the agreed price between the home warrany company, and the customer.Customer complaint should be with the home warranty company agreement,and not us,we were only caught in the middle.
