It went perfectly. They scheduled a convenient time, Art showed up as planned, and after I decided what to have done he completed it promptly. I have used Design Array before and they never fail to perform. Most companies see their service fall off over the years as the founder and original employees retire. New employees often don't have the same dedication. Not with Design Array. Every service tech that has ever come to our home has been outstanding. This is a top notch company.

Very good service. The scheduled us promptly, and did the work quickly. They included general lubrication and tightening bolts. These guys are great, time after time. I'm glad that I found them.

I called in the morning to schedule an appointment based on a recommendation from a neighbor and rating by Angies list. They said they could come out by 2 pm the same day. Mike called 20 minutes prior to arrival. He quoted the price to us and based on the recommendation and same day service we agreed. Both springs were replaced, the whole system was checked out and rollers sprayed. Mike explained how we can do some maintenance ourselves and gave us a lifetime guarantee on the springs. We felt the price was reasonable, Mike was knowledgeable and professional and efficient. We would recommend this company based on this experience with them.

They arrived on time the same day that I requested service. The service man had everything that he needed to do the job with him and started working as soon as I showed him the garage door. He was very polite and answered all my questions in a very professional manner.

They installed a Heritage 1000 16 x 7ft 24 gauge garage door(4 panels). The technician showed up at the appointed time, was courteous and efficient. He cleaned up the area after the installation. The price was less than another estimate I had gotten from another company for a door that was made from a thinner gauge steel. The paint color was a close match to the original door so I did not need to repaint it.

Josh came out and explained all the details of what he would be doing and the costs. The day of in install he was on time, got right to work. Was very professional and answered all my questions. He was done with in two hours and door is great. He showed me how to keep the door running smoothly by making sure the door rollers and springs was sprayed with silicon every 6 months. Was very pleased with this company and will use them again.

The old opener died and we were leaving town the next morning, I called and spoke with Ben and he was very helpful in getting the garage door opener I wanted installed as it was one that he doesn?t carry in stock. He was also able to schedule the installation for the next morning allowing us to keep our plans. Josh called as he was running a little late which wasn?t a problem for us. He arrived and went to work, he was knowledgeable and gave me an honest assessment of my door and didn?t try to sell me something I thought I needed but didn?t. Installation was done and the door tuned-up and adjusted in less than an hour. Great job! I will use this company again!

Design Array arrived when they said they would on 10-02-2013 and the installer was also professional and pleasant - I might add, he had that clean-cut appearance. He started right in installing our garage door and you could tell he was an expert in his field. He completed the job within the time allowed -- cleaning up after he was finished. It was a very nice experience dealing with this company. Thanks to their professionalism, there were no unexpected problems doing the job.

I was in a bind with 3 hours before I had to leave to get my wife at work but the spring sprung and I couldn't open the garage door. I called another place, but they would only give me an estimate after they arrived. This put me in an untenable position, because if they told me $1000, I would need to pay it to get the car out of the garage! I called Design Array Garage Door Store and they told me the symptoms indicated a spring broke and it would be $199 to replace both springs. Josh arrived in 30 minutes and fixed the springs in a jiffy. He was personable and efficient. By co-incidence, I had been having unreliability with my Liftmaster closer which was dated 2007 and came with my house purchased 3 years ago. Long story short, I also purchased a new Liftmaster closer with MyQ (he came back the next day without additional service charge.). The MyQ device was no additional charge with mail-in coupon. It attached to my router and allows the door to be opened with my smart phone from anywhere there is an internet connection. I live in Sun City, AZ a 55+ community, but most of my neighbors are older than we are and don't use the Internet, Josh told me he has many satisfied customers who don't use the Internet, and therefore don't write reviews. There was a problem with the closer transmitter after 6 weeks. I took it to the store and they gave me a new one after its test failed. There have been no further problems. I give Josh and Design Array Garage Door Store the highest rating possible.

They did a good job. They showed up on time were polite and cleaned up after themselves. He answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable.

We've used Design Array several times in 2012 and were very happy every time. At one house, had a manual door replaced with an automatic one, and it looks great. We had servicing to fix the motor of the garage door on one of our rental properties, and they repaired the surface of the door at another property because it was run into. So we've had everything done that you can get done to a garage door, and they've done them all well!

Design Array sent a rep out who was friendly but not very professional. He took calls on his company cell while he was reviewing the plan of action to replace our motor thereby cutting us off in mid sentence repeatedly. He was a little to casual with us in respect to how a contractor would treat a prospective client but that showed in his uniform and how he kept his truck which were somewhat shabby. Since he was not an individual contractor I expected to see proffesional behavior and looks representing Design Array however I let it slide because he was confident in the ability to make solutions for our needs (there were several technical challenges in putting a motor on the door) and his price was much less than the three previous contractors I reviewed the issue with (you get what you pay for). The following day a different rep came out who, as well, was a little too familiar with me as the client but regardless started work and did find solutions for accomidating both the new motor system and my garage door from the old system. Eventually as the process unfolded he did have to call the rep who made the original estimate and they appeared to carry on to finish up the work and did do a good job on the installation. However, at one point, I stopped into the garage to grab a yard stick and noted the installer had run the electrical wire to the hardwire door opener straight across the ceiling versus using a few extra feet to run it across the seams of the garage ceiling and wall where it would be less obvious and much more appealing. The rep who started the work that day noticed me looking at the ceiling and said "if you want that wire hidden, have an electrician do it, I'm not going up in the attic." I didn't even bring it up out loud so it was clear to me they he was self conscious of the shoddy look, however I did not make it an issue and just wanted them to finish up as soon as possible and get on their way (I later re-ran the wire on my own). As they were wrapping up and I came out to review they were not very interested in showing me the applicable remotes and their operation to run the motor, in other words they were in a hurry to leave. Regardless I paid the bill and they made their way out but not after taking pictures of the classic motor cycle sitting in my garage and pictures of various auto antiques I have on display. While they took great note of these artifacts in my garage they failed to explain to me the builtin-car remotes for my Toyota and Chevy are not compatible with the system they sold to me (both cars were sitting in the drive during their installation so they could have brought me up to speed at anytime). While this is a minor inconvience I think it is a good illustration of the overall experience I had with this company. It is possible I just caught these guys on a bad day but I recommend paying the extra dollars to go with the better supplier and installer. As of today the door is already showing signs a strain while using this motor next installation for my garage will be to replace the door and all the motor components, I will not be using Design Array to accomplish this.

They did a fantastic job. The installer arrived at our house on the exact date and time that they said they would and it took him about 3 hours working by himself to complete the job. The price was exactly what they quoted us on the estimate. We were very pleased with their products and service.

I had called for a check-up as my doors were making noise. The tech was very honest and performed all the checks and only charged me a minimum service call.

Very polite and will not take advantage of the unknowing/unknowledgeable.
