Had to reschedule due to equipment breaking down and weather issues. At times he was hard to reach by phone as he was out of town. Performed service when I was unable to be home. and used incorrect color for stain ( miscommunication?). returned with new stain the next day. He charged me for the materials, but no charge for labor on second stain.

Overall this was a horrible experience. Contractor was extremely unprofessional. Examples include: 1) Trash left everywhere and oil spilled on bricks and concrete from equipment requiring replacement 2) Drove on neighbors and my lawn without permission 3) Sloppy craftsmanship 4) Was difficult to talk to and reach solutions with 5) Work was delayed several weeks and attitude grew worse over project despite our attempts to remain positive 6) I have personally had to go and repair/replace several areas of bad workmanship including improper tie into house, improper earth to wood contact, bolts not tightened correctly on hardware, doors not aligned correctly, boards not painted/stained correctly, etc. 7) Tens of the wood slats contains permanent handwritten numbers which mar the appearance. 8) Used my personal equipment (wheelbarrow, shovel, etc.) without permission and did not clean (so now I have concrete permanently in my wheelbarrow). 9) Took materials from project site and did not return when I pointed out the fact that these items were missing. Overall a very sloppy and unprofessional crew. Really disappointing experience especially given our patience throughout as customers to work with their recurring delays and the fact that these folks were NOT the lowest bid (in middle of pack). No consideration on price or reasonable accommodation to repair was taken into account when items brought to attention of Fagan. Fagan grew hostile and threatening with even the smallest discussion or question about the project.
