He replaced my water heater three weeks ago, leaving the old one stating that he would return that week to pick it up. He never contacted me. I reached out to him and he said he couldn't find my contact information because Angi,s keeps him so busy. SMH I'm sure he could have found my information if finishing the job was important to him but apparently it wasn't important enough. He also told me not to make a big deal about it but it is a big deal to me, a 60 year old woman who is not capable of moving something that size by myself. I also told him not to show up at my residence before noon to pick it up and yet he shows up before noon.

We got a quote one day. They came the next day, on time. They worked the original job and of course there were more issues as this was an older house. After going to get more parts and a special tool, and redesigning the system on the go, they finished the job. I was waiting for him to add on charges, but Samuel Alvarez stood my his quote, even though a 2 1/2 hr job turned into a 6 hr job. I would definitely recommend this plumbing company!

Alvarez plumbing was an excellant company to work with. They communicated well and were on time. They were fast and efficient on our water softener unit install. I plan on using them for all my plumbing needs.

Amazingly quick response, replaced water heater cleanly and neatly. Very courteous and hard working.

They came to do a gas line inspection which I needed for a DHS license. There were no issues or concerns prior to the inspection. After a few minutes in my garage he came in to say he found a leak and my garage smelled like gas. It had never once smelled before. When I questioned him he said it was because he pumped the line with air to test for a leak. I paid for the repair taking his word for it. After he left, my furnace stopped blowing hot air. I messaged him and asked when he could come back and check his work. He stated he is not an HVAC guy so I would have to figure it out myself. He refused to come back and look at it. I run a preschool from my home and need the heat working properly. I had a HVAC person come out and the issue was the gas line was not connected properly therefore the safety shut off kicked in. Now I am wondering if I truly had a gas leak in the first place.

Professional polite dependable excellent service. Financial understanding. Patient. Honest. Integrity. So nice to find a reputable business and be treated with respect and understanding.

Call anyone else but Alvarez Plumbing. A different plumbing service will be able to do the job in half the time for half the cost. Within the first 30 mins his saw was not cutting properly so he left to get a different one which took over an hour. Then finally returned and did an hour of work then stopped to go get a drink, also took an hour. After returning he got to work and then not too long after left again. Over 5 times he left for an hour or more which I was charged for hourly. Somehow he thought it was fair and honest to charge $3,000 for the constant leaving and wasting time to stretch the job to last until 5pm. He was wanting to be paid for a 9-5 job. Realistically the job should have been finished by 1:30-2:00pm and definitely should not have costed $3,000 to replace a bit of shower drain piping and light demo work. He also destroyed a wall tile which was not to be touched or broken. He left to go get parts which he should have had already and return the borrowed saw from the morning which again took over an hour. Way too many times of leaving the job site to stretch the job to 5pm. 5pm came and he was magically finished. I am most upset because I was looking at other contractors and he made it sound like he was going to be efficient and honest which was not the reality. If you are looking for someone to take longer than it should and leave the job site frequently for hours at a time and charge you for it then go ahead. I would highly advise you call anyone else. Do not let this guy lie to you and steal your money because he will have excuses, he will be inefficient, and he might break something not meant to be broken. I feel that is incredibly unprofessional when your tools do not work and your not equipped with the proper supplies to complete the job you are there to do. A professional should have all supplies and working tools when they show up at your door and not have to leave every 45 mins to go get something else they did not bring. A professional also would not charge you for that wasted time or charge you because they are unprepared. In all, I am sickened and disgusted that he felt $3,000 was an honest and fair price for what was done. I do not agree. Please stay away from this company and call someone else, or do not listen and find out for yourself. You will be paying for your mistake guaranteed.

For the problem I had, they were quick to respond and repair the situation caused by Presideo Plumbing.

I was called back promptly after submitting a request for an estimate. Samuel came out within an hour to give me an estimate and completed the repair that same afternoon. Very polite and professional. I would definitely use this company again.
