I had a nice senior citizen lady in the store help me. She was easy to find, and offered great assistance. The employees are really nice. The lines are not ever very long. They are good people.

It went well.

I was happy with my experience at The Home Depot. I was able to call it to see if my item was available and they held it for me. They went through and showed me how it works. They helped me get it into my truck.

They were good. They came took the measurements and explained things. They were able to get me financing. I would have not got that from any other service provider. The installation team was very efficient and nice. Their price was good. I did a lot of comparison and then went with them because of the varieties of carpets they had and also the price. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Home Depot contracted this through a company called Countertop Supply. They were horrible. They measured incorrectly, resulting in a strip of drywall around the back splash that now needs to be repaired and have refused to attempt to fix the problem, claiming it was trim work, and the person at Home Depot in charge of installation AND the store manager have not returned phone calls asking for assistance in resolving the problem. They also broke our dishwasher line and refused to repair it until the next week. They also used caulk on the new sink drains (installation included with the counter tops) that dissolves in hot water, so it will have to be repaired also.

I've consulted with Home depot on which toilet seat would stand up to the strain of a overweight and disabled roommate. Previously I was able to return the broken seat for store credit and get a different one. This time the returns person said I could only exchange it. The model wasn't on the shelf, so I waited for someone to get a fork lift. 20 min. later and no forklift, I told the person in returns why it was taking so long, and they said the manager refused the return. After 20 minute wait for the manager, she said they never allowed returns of toilet seats due to health code reasons and the possibility of having *SNAKES IN THE BOX*. When I insisted that I had exchanged toilet seats there previously without problem, the manager finally agreed to let me ''this once.'' The new toilet seat was missing parts and I had to return to exchange. 85 min and a lot of frustration for a return. ''Snakes in a Box'' is a movie title, not a good reason for refusing a return of defective it.

I've made many purchases here across the last 1.5 yrs. They have the best return policy, and a wide selection, but prompt and knowledgeable help is often hard to find! There are often lines to ask questions of employees, or worse--no employees in a section at all. If no one is in an area (whether its getting lumber cut, or those who assist with moving heavy items into the car), its usually taken multiple requests and a minimum of a half an hour wait for someone to show up! Employees often couldn't answer questions and referred to other retail stores "who might know". The Rental center is an exception. We had problems operating their equipment, but they gave great tech support over the phone, and extra time to compensate for the equipment problems. The paints made from color samples that they had in the store though were accurate, but we did have problems with the computer-matching for the paint samples we brought in--very low on the yellow.

THEY WERE POLITE AND INFORMATIVE, BUT FELL SHORT WHEN TELLING US JUST HOW DIFFICULT THE PROCESS WOULD BE OF SCRAPING UP TILE AND THINSET FROM AN EXISTING FLOOR. THEY SEEMED TO DOWNPLAY IT, OR WE WERE JUST WIMPS! THE MACHINE WAS A LITTLE DIFFICULT TO FIGURE OUT AND AFTER PLACING A PHONE CALL, THEY PATIENTLY WALKED ME THROUGH MY CONFUSION. THEY DID NOT SEEM TO MIND ANSWERING QUESTIONS.

HAD THEM INSTALL CARPET IN SECONDARY BEDROOM. THEY KEPT CHANGING THE PRICE AND TRYING TO CHARGE ME FOR ITEMS I DID NOT NEED. SHOWED UP AT WRONG TIME TO INSTALL.

PURCHASED TOILETS ON A THURSDAY. WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CALL FOR AN INSTALLATION DATE WITHIN 48 HOURS. I CALLED THEM BACK ON TUESDAY AND SAID NO ONE HAD CALLED. THEY SAID THEY WOULD CHECK AND CALL BACK. I CALLED BACK 4 HOURS LATER WHEN I HADN'T HEARD FROM THEM AND ASKED FOR A MANAGER. GOT A SCHEDULED DATE AND TIME. EVERYTHING WAS FINE RELATED TO INSTALLATION.

PURCHASED A BATHROOM LIGHTING FIXTURE. BEFORE I LEFT THE STORE, I CHECKED THE BOX AND TWO OF THE GLOBES WERE BROKEN. GOT A 2ND LIGHT, BROUGHT IT HOME AND INSTALLED IT. TURNED OUT, IT HAD A SHORT. HAD TO UNINSTALL IT AND RETURN IT. GOT A 3RD LIGHT,INSTALLED IT. IT WAS FINE.
