Description of Work: The product is quality and the price is comparable to other businesses. The main difficulty was in the scheduling of installation. They did not allow enough time to complete the job. My recommendation would be to find your own installation contractor if you decide to use The Floor Store.

Description of Work: Tried to buy floor tile from this company and it was a nightmare. I actually had a tile picked out however I could get no one to help me purchase the tile. It was crazy! I had to beg for the salesman who initially showed me the tile to call me back and he would not. Long story however it was bad news. Never bought anything.

+ -1 moreShower: Very happy with the finished look. The installer did a staggered layout and took great care to make the tile layout symmetrical. The negative was the shower drain. I had to select this myself as they said they were not responsible. It was not a perfect install and they had to come back and repair. The grout color does not match the initial installation even though it was the same color. Tile Floor: Chose diagonal layout with tile baseboard. This is a more expensive approach, but we felt it was worth it. The installers were fast, but I was very unhappy with their cleanliness. Taking out existing tile is extremely messy and they would leave empty water bottles and knee pads at the end of day. We were living in the house and we felt that this was not respected. I communicated this to Robert at the end of the job (2.5 days in total) and he said he would pass it on. Other issues were that they put dents in the side of our refrigerator, moved the support piece to our wood shutters covering sliding door (shutter manufacturer had to come out and fix), and caused a small water leak when they turned the water supply to the refrigerator back on. We are happy with the quality of the tile work, but not with the process. We even found out after the fact that the some of the workers were not employees of the tile installation company, which left us exposed from a liability perspective. So, mixed feelings after the experience. Happy with the finished look but displeased with the installation process.
Description of Work: Slow shower drain leak caused mold issue that required significant repair work. We used this opportunity to upgrade to a custom tile shower. We loved the porcelain tile (has a travertine look) in the bathroom that we decided to use it in the rest of the house except for the bedrooms (had to rip out carpet and exisiting tile - around 1,000 square feet. The Sales Manager Robert Galvan II was good to work with. He added great value in the selection of material and color.
