Description of Work: I had a lot of damage to the ceiling of my patio roof, from roof tile leaks that had to be repaired twice. "The Drywall Guy" had a special price on Angie's List for a certain number of square feet of drywall repair for about $200. He came to the house and it was obvious that the whole ceiling would need to be replaced. He agreed to do the advertised area for the advertised price, but the rest would have to be at his regular price. I agreed. He arrived right at the scheduled time, and spent the whole day working by himself. He put down drop cloths to protect the patio tile, did a beautiful job on the ceiling, even textured it, when he found that it had been textured before. They do not do the painting, but he told me what kind of paint to get and how to apply it. I was very pleased with the results and would call them again if ever needed.

Description of Work: The provider responded quickly to our inquiry and scheduled a visit within a day to review work requested and provide a quote. After spending about 30 minutes looking over the work areas he left stating he would have a bid to us ASAP. It's now been 7 days and no word or bid. I think it's extremely rude for a provider to not respond in ANY manner. I am fine with someone saying they are too busy or just don't want to take on the particular job. But to leave one waiting for a bid when there is no plan to provide one is unprofessional.

Description of Work: Large job installing new drywall and skimming over existing plaster to match in several rooms of a home in one of the historic districts. These guys are true artisans and really cared about the quality. They eagerly took on some very tricky applications (restoring the curve of our coved ceilings for one). A joy to have around, extremely prompt and pleasant.

Description of Work: Contacted to repair drywall damage in ceilings due to water damage and settling. They repaired all the drywall, and discovered they painted also and hired them to paint the ceilings in kitchen, family room, dining room, living room, and hallways. Awesome job!! They covered everything, cleaned up after themselves, were very professional.

Description of Work: The repairer fixed a hole in our kitchen ceiling caused by a water leak. He was very careful to guard the area from dust, and he worked continuously. He matched the ceiling texture perfectly, and left everything as good as new -- better, actually.
