From the initial phone call for an estimate to the job completion, the Drywall Guys exceeded my expectations. They were prompt for each appointment. Additionally, each member of thier team was polite and professional. If I have the need for drywall work in the future, these guys have earned my business.

Initially called Rob to come patch up a bunch of holes in the walls of a home I recently purchased. I also wanted to discuss with him the cost of adding drywall to a big ugly fireplace to make better aesthetically. Rob showed up on time to take a look at everything I wanted done. I decided to remove the fireplace completely and scheduled a day for service. Rob and his son showed up on time a few days later, they worked very fast and efficiently, broke down the fireplace and rebuilt wall and patched up various holes in other rooms, textured the new sections to match up the original wall. Cleaned up afterwards. These guys did a great job. Very professional and incredibly nice - easy to talk to. I highly recommend them.

I took the popcorn down and had a friend try to texture the ceiling. Things did not go as expected and I decided to call in a pro to fix the ceilings and some other minor drywall issues in the house. Everything turned out well. They did miss a small area in the bathroom but were quick to fix it. One of the joints in the bedrooms showed through the texture a little and Rob volunteered to come out the next morning to fix it. He and his son came as promised and did some touchups to finish the job. Overall, I'm really pleased with the work and wish I would have went with them from the start.

I was very pleased with Rod and his son. They are very professional and know their craft! They were at my house from 7:30 until 4:00 and did an exceptional job! Some imperfections that I did not notice, they handled and made the corrections. The both of them are hard workers and did not stop even for lunch....They matched the texture of the walls perfectly. I would definitey hire them again and spread the word about how good they are....Very Professional, courteous, and great customer service....THANK YOU GUYS....

Overall job was very good. Rob arrived on time, went right to work and did a real good job matching the existing texture. He was very friendly and professional. The first thing he did was protect everything in the area of repair, i.e. carpet, couch, etc., and when the work was finished, he cleaned everything up, including vacuuming. I would definitley use Rob, The Drywall Guy, again in the future for any drywall work that I may have, new install or repair.

Rob arrived on time and set to work on the repairs, working quietly and quickly. Matching textures is the trickiest part of the job, and he did this superbly. We cannot tell where the work was done. There has been no recracking or any kind of problem with his work. Excellent job.

We had an entertainment built in that didn't do what we needed. It was an eye sore. Rather than re-face the cabinets on the bottom and drawers, we opted to simply knock it down, and have a wall built in it's place. We also had them put a grommet in and re-locate an electrical outlet so that our TV that was going to hang on the wall would not have wires showing anywhere. The wires would be run behind the TV, into the wall, down through, and out towards the bottom -- where we would then place a piece of pottery barn media/entertainment center furniture. The process started out with a quote -- they came out and quoted me within a few days (and I called on a Saturday! Prompt service!) and the process was scheduled for two weeks later (my request -- he could have started just a few days after, but this date worked best for me). They came yesterday and started. Were there promptly at 7:45 AM both days. Demo yesterday along with facing, and wrap up today. They were from around 7:45 AM to 2:30 PM the yesterday, and to around 2:00 PM today. I felt for the quality of work, timely fashion, and quantity of work, that $2500 ($2250 with the Angie's list referral coupon) was a very fair price. The work was absolutely top notch. I certainly would use them again.

We made the mistake of contacting someone in the newspaper to do our drywall work. Fairly small job, 2 entry ways enclosed, 1 with drywall and another with double doors and another closet door opening. We were guaranteed that we would not tell the work was done. Well, they did a terrible job.Via Angies List, we contacted Rob with The Drywall Guy and they came to the rescue. They indicated I needed to start all over if I didn't want to see the seams. To save a little money, I tore the drywall out per their instructions, what a job, should have let them do it. When Rob's sons came to do the job, they were on time, pleasant, very professional, protect the area very well, installed the drywall, mud and finished the surface. After cleaning up, we inspected the work and it was great. Wonderful job, definitely will have them in my home again. Great job!!

I think it’s a father and son team or something like that. They were exceptional. They’re very prompt. I come from a family of builders and tradesmen, and they were spot on with the quality of their work. They didn’t cut corners or do anything because it looks awful. I will definitely use them again in the future if I need to.

Called Rob for an estimate. He came promptly and looked over the problem area. I was emailed an estimate a few days later. The reviews on Angies List indicated that he and his sons performed excellent work, that they were professional and reliable. After reviewing the estimate I scheduled the work. I did not get more than this one estimate, so I have no price comparison information. There were some scheduling problems with the original work schedule date, but Rob called to explain the conflict, and we were able to work out alternate dates for the work to be completed. The work was completed satisfactorily. The match to the existing drywall texture is perfect and the work area was cleaned after the repairs were completed. I am happy with the completed project and would recommend The Drywall Guy for any drywall work you may need.

Job came out great all the holes were patched and textured matched to the walls. Would definitely use them again.

I called Rob and explained I had a pretty small job and wanted to make sure he would make his way up to Scottsdale for such a small job. He indicated he would and we set a date. Other than having to call him the morning of the appointment, I was quite impressed with the work, the cleanliness of the job and his overall operation. If I need a guy or need to refer a guy, he will be the one for sure.

Rob came out on March 5th we went over everthing we wanted done he said he would write it up and get right back to us....as of today the 15th I have not heard one word. I cant move into the home until these things are done...what a hold up i hired someone else

Outstanding; we've been together over 30 years, had plenty of repairs beyond what I can do myself and these guys place in the top five all-time. The owner gave us an acceptable estimate and we set a date; his two sons were here this morning a few minutes early. They are two pleasant, hard-working and very competent young men. I showed them the job and they quietly got on with it. I'm handy so I watched their work and they were at all times deftly professional. The masking-off of areas inside, the scraping and preparation, and then the application of mud were all excellent and thorough; it's a pleasure to watch experts at work. They had to judge the drying rate accurately to get the patterning just right - and they did (we had previously hired a "handyman" and his work was lousy). The clean-up was impeccable - they didn't miss a thing. If you have drywall repair work to be done, please hire "The Drywall Guy" - I cannot imagine you'll be disappointed. (And no, I'm an actual customer, not a relative :-)

Overall the experience was great! They showed up right on time each morning ready to work. They ask questions when needed to ensure they were completing work based on our wants and needs, and they kept us updated on progress throughout the project. They are very professional!

We needed to have our plumbing replaced, which resulted in over 25 holes in the walls throughout the house. Rob came out and gave us an estimate, and once the plumbers were finished, Rob and his sons came out and patched up all the holes. There were several more holes to patch than we had provided in the estimate and they also fixed a few other dry wall problems (due to a leaky shower), but we only paid what was provided in the estimate. Their quality of work was excellent! They showed up on time, completed the work very quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. They did a great job and we were really impressed with their service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs dry wall repairs and will definitely call them again if the needs arises! Thank you again for everything!! (Sorry it took so long to write this review!)

I've been looking at this wall and bathroom in shambles for YEARS. I was sick of it and finally had a little extra money so I wanted to make sure I got the right guys to do the job, and boy did I. A family run drywall business by a bunch of stand up, very professional gentleman. Excellent work, clean and done. I will hire them again without a second thought, and also pass on my great experience with anyone else who asks or needs work done. Thanks for bringing sane back to me, at least a little bit. Everything was excellent. They were punctual and their price was fair.

Called Rob for a quote on water damage on a house I own... he came out .. quoted and started on the equally agreed upon date.The water damage also included a large section of wallpaper removal and re texture of walls... After I saw how well the first job went... I had Rob out to my house to give me another quote... which has South Westen style..(Bullnose Drywall) built-ins..for TV.. AV books...etc... the TV hole was wayyy to little for my man size TV.. so they tore out the entire Built in area and re framed it with all new areas for my equip// TV AV.. knick knacks etc...... they matched my diagram and dimensions to a T... On both jobs.. they left at the end of each day... by sweeping... cleaning and clearing and mopping the floor... all furniture was covered and moved out of the way. Very professional... I am so impressed with the results... except for here on AngiesList... (you guys know the truth).. anyone else walking into my house... I am going to just tell them I did the work.... Yea... I did it.!!!..;-) I might have been able to find a cheaper crew... ... when it is all said and done... I'd much rather pay a tad extra... get a great job.. from a very good company.... There was not one single minute... on either job.. that I was ever irritated... p*****... or frustrated with them.. their work... or the price...and that IS saying a lot... from a guy that has used more than his fair share of contractors... IE: 4 house remodels in 3 years I also recommended Rob to a biz partner of mine... to fix some water damage.. ..recommending ppl...another rarity... Recently we had a water leak in a hot water line. The plumbers cut through the ceiling and also several areas on the garage wall were the lines connected to the hot water tank. Rob came out the next day and repaired all areas. The texturing on the repaired areas was perfect. Rob took care to cover anything that need protection. He did a great job.

It was a wonderful experience from the estimate to the completion of the work. I had a leak in some walls that had recently been painted. I called Rob as soon as my plumber finished punching 7 holes in my walls and ceiling to repair the leak and Rob came out the same day to give me an estimate. He recommended that we place a fan to dry the areas for at least 48 hours. He scheduled for them to come back out in exactly two days. They showed up on time and completed the work my faster than expected. Their work is impeccable and I can't even notice the areas that were damaged. They were very friendly and obviously love working together. They left the site clean and re-placed the toilet that was the cause of the damage. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs drywall repair and I plan to use them again the future. Thank you for such a good job guys!

What a great experience from start to finish. I called for an estimate on several drywall cracks. I made phone contact with the owner Robert Gower. We set up a date/time for an estimate. He arrived on time and was very polite and helpful. We walked around my home and he calmed my fears by telling me all the cracks in my home were minor and to be expected since the house is 17 years old. We agreed on a price of $500.00 with a 10 percent discount for Angie's list customers. He explained that his two sons would be out on the following Tuesday to complete the work. Low and behold, they both arrived on time and ready to work!! Robbie and Jason were a great team. We walked through my home and I showed them all of the cracks I had showed their father, Robert. They, too, assured me it was all settling cracks that happens in homes. Robert Sr. should be proud of both of his sons. They did a GREAT job, were very personable, worked hard, spent time explaining things to me, and even cleaned up after themselves. I would not hesitate to have them come back to my home if the need arises. They also supplied me with names/numbers of other contractors for other issues that I need to have done. This is a family owned and operated business who has pride in their work and dedication to their jobs. If you need Drywall repair, This is the company to call. I ended up paying a little more than the quoted price because I found other cracks/repairs that needed to be done while they were in my home. They didn't hesitate in spending a little more time to get these extras done even when they had another job to get to. I was very impressed with the service I received.

It went extremely well. I will not only use The Drywall Guy again, but I will certainly use Angie's List for more referrals.
