We were able to have a quote done right away and start the work a little over a week later. Communication was prompt and clear. We had an added scope of work when they arrived day of, by deciding together to put an oil based overlay over an existing previous homeowners DIY mess, which was an additional cost I had hoped was included in the first quote. None the less, we are extreamly happy with the quality of work done. It brought the kitchen back into the modern era! The guys did a great job of prepping and sealing off the rest of the kitchen and cleaning up after the job was complete. What I thought would be a two day job was accomplished in 1; bonus! Highly recommend using this company:)

The owner was very good about returning my call - in fact he called back 4 days in a row before I scheduled him to come out to give us an estimate. He squeezed us in to get an estimate quickly, and with the 10% Angie's List discount it was $200.00 less than the first estimate we got, and almost $100 less than the second one. We scheduled to have the work done the following week. It was a very good experience. The repairman arrived promptly on the morning of the scheduled repair. He moved all the patio furniture beneath the affected area. Took down the old drywall, and repaired it exactly as described in "What did the provider do". After texturing the cleaning, he cleaned up the area, removing all the old pieces of drywall and trash. He swept it clean and returned all the furniture to the proper places. The ceiling looks very good. It was done in a very short time - around 2 hours. Since we had to leave before he was finished, he left the bill in our front door for us to mail in the payment.

They did a SUPER job! I received a free estimate, and scheduled me for about 2 weeks out. The estimate was $400, which was $50 more than the other 2 bids I received, BUT, they also included insulation. They arrived on time that morning, and did a wonderful job - they were clean and neat, and the texturing matched perfectly! I had something similiar done a few years prior, and this job was MUCH better! When they were done, they give me a bill for $350. I told them the estimate was for $400, and they said their paperwork said $350. I thought that was very honest of them. Would use them again anytime!

It took almost 4 hours and was well worth it. Did a beautiful job of matching, especially on the wall we extended. Worker taped and covered with plastic the whole area and cleaned up after so you wouldn't even know they were there.

He came to our home and gave us an estimate giving us all the details of what was needed to be done. We made an appointment time for him to return and do the work. He returned on time to do the work. The work was done in a timely manner and was reasonably priced.

He came when scheduled, discussed what I wanted to accomplish and later emailed me a quote.

He was punctual, polite and professional. I really liked this guy. There's a lot of work done to this condo and he had to make probably two dozen trips as we needed stuff. He's very good.

We researched a ton of companies and we're really glad we decided to use The Drywall Guy to help with our bathroom remodel. We needed to repair a wall that had wallpaper and several other areas needed to be repaired and resurfaced as well. The crew did a great job, were very friendly and completed the job in one day. We would definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking to have a quality job done at a fair price.

Ron was extremely helpful and went out of his way to explain all the details of the proposed project. He was professional and also kind. His price quote seemed quite reasonable and was just a bit above the lowest quote we received. Unfortunately, budget was our bottom line so we went with someone else. That being said, I was super close to almost saying goodbye to our budget to use Ron because I like him so much.

Would have preferred them not to close the drywall as the leak had still to be repaired.

My husband and father-in-law moved a wall into my daughters bedroom and changed a half-wall into a full wall on our 2nd floor. We had 6 companies come out to give estimates 5 from Angie's list and one someone else told us about. 3 of them including The Drywall Guy had A ratings on Angie's list. Rob was the first one to call back and was available the earliest to come for an estimate. He was also the cheapest when I applied my 10% Angies's List Coupon. My husband liked him the most anyways because he described what needed to be done and seemed like he understood what we wanted done. We hired him and he was able to schedule the job rather quickly. He told us that his son would be doing the work and it would probably take 2 days. He needed to set-up his scafolding and would try to get that done the first day since we have a 2 year old and a six month old that way we would only need to keep them out of the house the one day. Which I really liked because he took the time to think about us his customer. Well his son showed up and did an amazing job. Not only that but he finished it in one day. That's one day sooner we can start to get our house back together with 2 small kids. It looks amazing. I can't wait till we get it painted. I'm sure it will like the wall was there the whole time. We have some work that we are planning on doing to remove some built in bookshelves in the future and I know who I will be calling. They are great.

Rob returned my call quickly and came to my house for an estimate and to establish an apporximate start date. Later Rob Jr. (the son) came to start the work. Rob did an excellant job refinishing and even replaced a section of patio drywall next to the fireplace chimney that had gotten wet years ago. Overall I thought he did an excellant job in a timely manor and was very responsive to my requests. I would definetly recommend the Drywall Guy.

We were getting bids on drywall repair in our home. This provider set an appointment to come look at the drywall problems and then bid on the job. The appointment was set for 9 in the morning. He didn't show up on time. At 9:30 I called him, got his voice mail and left a message. About 15 minutes later he returned the call, saying he was on his way. He didn't arrive until 10:30 - no apologies. The very first thing he did when he got to our house was ask to use the bathroom (left the seat up to my wife's disappointment). He ended up submitting a bid that was not the lowest. But even if he was the lowest bidder we would not have used him because I had no faith that he would do the work well or on time.

Rob showed up on time, worked quickly, got the job done beautifully, and cleaned up after himself very well. No problems. Can't even tell where repair was done on the textured ceiling. Good job! Would definitely recommend.

The team provided a quote within the same week contacted. Once hired to do the work, they showed up on time and completed the work within the alloted time. They cleaned up after themselves and were professional.

It is wonderful to know that workmen like these still exist. They were very responsive to our inquiry and fairly priced for the quality work they do. In the initial visit to quote, they noticed a dip in one ceiling and mentioned that it might require some additional work, which indeed was the case. The cost to make that additional repair was very reasonable. They were right on time each day, checked and rechecked their work to make sure it was perfect -- and were really nice too. People say that removing acoustic ceilings is a messy job, but you would never know it when they were finished. The house was cleaner than when they arrived. Thank you for a great referral!

I had 3 different bids for a drywall repair. The father and son team were right on time for their appointment. They were very nice and professional. They were the highest bid by almost 300 and didn't include paint. I wanted a cheap solution and they stated that the damage was most likely too severe and whole drywall might need to be replaced. They were non committal on the issue and stated they would have to start the repair before they could determine how much it would cost. They stated the cheap version would bubble and the mud wouldnt stick. I'm not sure that they were trying to make me spend more money, it might be that they just didn't know. I hired another Angie's list contractor who was actually the lowest bid and was 100% confident when he came in that he could do it the way I requested, and painted the ceiling and wall (2 different colors). There was no bubbling and the repair looks brand new. TheDrywall guys were very nice and who knows, in a month my whole ceiling could collapse and they could have been right the first time, but I'm very pleased with the results of the contractor I hired.

They were great to work with--came when they said they would and did what they promised. It seems they were done in no time. The quality of the work was excellent. We were so happy with the outcome. You cannot tell where old drywall ends and the new begins. Flawless!

Coincidentally, my water heater had broken that morning, and flooded a small part of two rooms. Even though these two gentlemen were there strictly to provide an estimate, they voluntarily moved some furniture and pulled my carpet and pad up for me so that air could start getting to it. They put my fans in the right places, and gave me specific advice on how to proceed from there in order to save myself the expense of hiring Servepro, or the consequences of filing an insurance claim. I received my estimate from them by email in a timely fashion. I haven't decided yet what to do about this major project with the ceilings, but I will tell you, these two men struck me as totally trustworthy, professional and knowledgeable. In addition, they are also compassionate and generous. I'm sure you would be very pleased to have them working in your home.

Jason came out to give an estimate and I was scheduled to have my entire ceiling redone by Friday. I opted to replace the whole ceiling rather then just pieces because it was just $55.00 dollars more to start new!! Jason said cutting the pieces to fit would actually take more work. The workers arrived on time and worked non stop until they were done. It looks great and I am very pleased with it!
