Matt explained our options and did not pressure us to go for the more expensive one. He was prompt and came when he said he would be there. He was honest and did an excellent job.

Matt at Stellar has been great to work with. Communicates well, easy to get a hold of and always has a great attitude very fair and tells it like it is! I would recommend him over and over again!! 5 stars in my book!

Great Job. I had Matt replace a broken spring a couple of years ago so when the opener started to fail I called him. He was, again, very responsive, gave me options with the pros and cons, came back when he said he would and completed the job within an hour. I'd use these guys again and highly recommend them.

What a horrible experience we had with this company! First off the communication sucked! We wasted two days of our lives for the guy to show up! And then another full day of him trying to “get it somewhat fixed”!!!!! We sensually were robbed by this company! They charged us $650 and the door still doesn’t work right!! Oh and the $50 service call so a total of $700 and some change!!! He replaced a bunch of parts that had nothing to do with the issue!! And then tried to sell us a new lift motor and that’s why it isn’t Working right! Wrong answer!! We had another company come out the very next day and he replaced two bearings and retightened the spring and poof it works perfectly!! And only cost us $63!!!!! So I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone!

Great service. Was able to come quickly and fix our garage door that wouldn't open door to broken spring etc.... They did a full service relaxing the springs and rollers and other bits and all is good.

Responded quickly. Came up a plan to isolate the cause, I.e,, the wall module, the door opener or the connecting wire. Replaced the wall module, explained the warranty. Did what you hope for when you call someone for a repair, a satisfied customer.

I’m a single mother and I was looking for somebody that was able to do it and had reasonable cost. I had a guy out earlier that day and he kept changing the price and going higher. This company was prompt, gave me a quote and kept that price and did an extremely good job. My garage door is running so smoothly. I could not thank him enough for helping me out. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

Excellent service and best price, by far, of the 5 companies I received quotes from. Matt informed me of some potential future issues that I could run into, but at no point did he pressure additional services on me. Very knowledgeable.

After several months of intermittent issues, where garage door wouldn't close sometimes except holding down wall button the entire time, and it would not close using any other means. I called out Sears Home Services. Matt told me I needed new rollers and springs needed to be wound and were the wrong size and that he would balance the door for free. He did adjust one of my rollers, took 1 minute. Sears said I had the right size springs, and the problem was that he wired the unit wrong. He told me he is the only employee and owner that his brother used to be involved but no more, and that my rollers were fine and did not need replacing. He had orange white on north side of door and blue white on the south side of the door, and one orange wire connected to one of the 4 slots on the head. So they put put blue white on both sensors and eliminated the orange completely. If this does not work I will revise my review. Also, Matt had to come out twice because the rail and head needed adjusting. I read the manual and he poo-pooed nearly everything saying he had done this for 15 years. I believe had I installed what he normally installs then I would have had no problems, but I bought the whisper quiet belt type from Sears. I do remember him fiddling with and trying to figure out the wires at the head to work correctly. He was professional but basically told me that he knew more than the manual when I brought up the concerns. So if you buy a Sears unit, have Sears install it. I had to buy a 3-year maintenance contract in addition to what Matt charged me, and to use my credit card he wanted to charge extra percents for using it. When the customer has concerns, listen to the customer. I did tell him he could take my old Sears Craftsman that worked just fine, and was only replaced for quietness. He did take the old and haul away.

I only call Matt, as he gives a fair price and gets it taken care of right away. Don't use anyone else and his prices are really good.

Our last experience with a garage door service company was anything but Stellar. In the past, we had been overcharged and the work was less than mediocre. Because of this experience, I was hesitant to call someone to come out. After reading the reviews on Yelp for Stellar Garage Door Services, I decided to give it a shot. The reviews were great, the response time to get back to us was ridiculously quick, and the quality of work was top notch. Matt came out the following day after I contacted him. He gave us a lot of different options on what we could do (from cheaper options to more expensive ones) and with no pressure. I truly felt like we were getting advice from a good friend. I didn't get that feeling that we were getting ripped off. He was very thorough. The first time he came out, he replaced some parts and tightened some wires (which could have bought us some more time), but we decided to go with a new unit (ours was sooooo old and needed to be replaced). He gave us very reasonable options; either going through them or picking one up at Home Depot. We chose the best option for us and he came back again the next day for installation. It's embarrassing to admit, but we ended up paying about the same amount to have parts replaced and a new unit put in, as we did the last time for just two garage door remotes and receiver!!! Their prices are very reasonable and quality work. Thanks Matt for your quality work ethic and prompt response time. If you are in need of garage door repair or a new one installed these are the guys to call. I will be sending all my friends and family their way!!!

Technician was punctual and repaired my garage door in very little time. Was very professional and took game to explain what needed to be done. Also offers suggestions for future maintenance. Would highly recommend.

If there is one attribute a business can do to prosper it's punctuality and keeping the customer informed. Stellar is #1 in doing both! I usually have questions and they are answered with interest and patience. The best is calling and always getting to talk to someone right away! Plus they are spot-on efficient.

Have used Stellar many years ago and after they answered the phone on Thanksgiving day and got me out of my garage on Black Friday early enough for me to go shopping, I swore I would use them again. This time I called on a Sunday and they came out on Monday morning. They offered to come Sunday but I didn't need out of my garage till Monday. Matt arrived early and assessed the situation. My garage door had not been serviced in a very long time. He suggested that the cables, drums and rollers needed replacing in addition to the springs. I was fine with that as they were in bad shape. After finishing I was impressed how quiet the door is now.

Matt arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, and gave me several options on how to proceed. We agreed to replace the existing unit and springs, which was done in about 45 minutes. I am very happy with the service I received and highly recommend this service provider.

I called and spoke with Matt before 10:00 in the morning and he came out the same afternoon. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. We had never serviced our garage door and 16 years later, we needed springs and rollers as well as a new opener. Matt provided multiple options for us in an effort to help keep the cost down. We chose to replace the old unit with a comparable model. Matt completed the work in just over an hour and then set up the garage door links in both of our vehicles. The rollers, springs and opener work great. I would definitely recommend Matt to our friends and family!

Matt was awesome. He answered his phone late Saturday night after we realized our garage door was broken. He arranged to come over Sunday. He arrived, diagnosed the problem, gave us some options and then completed the work in under hour. He was kind and professional.

I have an old, heavy duty garage door that I wanted Matt to look at, after meeting him when he replaced a garage door for me at a rental. The parts were worn and the door made a lot of noise when moving. In the winter, it happened several times that it didn't move all the way, apparently laboring a lot with the old rollers and springs. He recommended a rebuild kit and I went with the upgraded version, i.e. high quality parts. He also added a bracket where the door is pulled from the opener, where the metal was weak and about to crack. Now the door is much quieter and opens and closes smoothly. Since then, I hired Matt two more times, to replace yet another door and fix a broken hinge. Very pleased with the service, thank you Matt!

The service provider called right away when we requested an appointment, and was available the next business day. He called before arrival, as planned, and was there on time. He examined our garage door, told us why he thought we were having problems, then proceeded to do the repair. It was very quick (30 minutes) and he gave us some good information on garage door maintenance and what to do if we had problems in the future. All in all, a good experience.
