The showroom salesman seemed professional and responsive at first. I gave all the measurements and my price-range up-front. The bid came back over budget and convoluted (i.e., costs lumped together with not much description). I should have stopped there but proceeded because of promises of seamless service--which was never delivered! First, the installers started the project without showing me the material. When I came in to check progress I IMMEDIATELY noticed that is was the wrong material. I called the salesman, and he promised he had checked the material and signed it off--so I was probably mistaken. I finally convinced him to come to my home to inspect. He did admit it was the wrong material but claimed the boxes for my material and for what he sent were almost identical. He reluctantly agreed to order the right material, but said it would take a while, which would slow completion of other portions of my renovation (as if he was trying to convince me to settle with the wrong tile!). Amazingly, the new material showed up days later, with an implausible explanation but no apology. And interestingly, the correct material's box looked nothing like the incorrect material's box. PLUS, the incorrect material was an inferior product. So, I began to wonder if it was a "bait and switch." Next, the installers could not properly complete the job because they were not given enough material. So, I had to wait (again!) for more material to be ordered. When I chose my grout color from the swatches handed to me by the installers, I wrote it down for them. They still ordered the wrong grout--which I realized when I was brought in to inspect the work. I asked to see the bag, and it was a different color than what I had chosen. (Luckily, it coordinated well enough so I chose not to make issue.) From start to finish, this job had problems related to quality, timeliness, and accountability. I don't feel that RM demonstrated integrity, and I therefore would not recommend the company.

At the time of instillation, they changed the flooring to a cheap vinyl and said we didn't need an underlayment. After correcting the original product, they installed it without an underlayment, only to have to take it up and reinstall it correctly. They also placed a hole in one of the walls and left dustnand dirt everywhere. We had to hire a company to clean their mess. The person we dealt with was very unprofessional and didn't seem to know anything about her product. Since, we have found a more reputable source for a better price. Looks can be deceiving.
