Description of Work: Work performed as a chandelier replacement for a dining room table. Had to be mounted twice as the height of the down tubes had to be adjusted. We also have a few scratches on the bottom of the light as care was not given. I brought out some cardboard after I saw how a brand new $1000 fixture was being handled. Needs improvement.

Description of Work: I had some kind of shorting resulting in electric fixtures in one bathroom not working. The Electrician called me about 45 mins prior to appointment to let me know they were starting from their office and were at my residence 10-15 mins early. Once they opened the fixture, they determined issue was with some other point - And they went around opening fixtures in other rooms in the same circuit and after 45-60 mins, figured out the problematic plug-point. They fixed it quick and after the work, vacuumed cleaned all the dust from opening the fixture and put back any furniture they moved and left. | |It was a very professional team. When they called, I requested if they could fix a cieling fan and they quoted me the price and agreed as soon as they came in - they did this in parallel to fixing the pther issue - everything completed within 1-1.5 hours.

Description of Work: Installed recessed can lighting--there was a slight centering problem which was resolved immediately. I did not like the color of lights (too cool/blue) and Ryan swapped them for something warmer. Will definitely use RIO Electric again.

Description of Work: They did a check of my system, cleaned and provided maintainence. They also recommended some upgrades and I selected one of upgrades as an investment to lower energy costs. They came back about a week later to complete this service, on time and as arranged.

Description of Work: REPLACED OUTSIDE PORCH LIGHT

Description of Work: just ask for an outlet in cover patio with a tv cable/ price to high for an hours service. Park truck in front of house, leaving an heavy oil leak on street

Description of Work: I had a few minor repairs: light switch, fan tightening, broken bulb in high outlet. The two technicians got the job done in 30 minutes so the price would have been $69.00 (a good deal). I also had an outside BBQ light I was not sure if I should fix. I was talked into letting them look into it. But it was not able to be repaired which I suspected. So the extra time to investigate it cost me another $31.00 which was a waste of money. I felt a little annoyed for being talked into the extra cost.

Description of Work: They showed up within the agreed to time frame. The issue was that my hot tub was not working. I had already replaced the breaker. They took a cursory look at it and some basic troubleshooting. They said if the control module was bad it could cost alot. I really didn't want to commit to an unknown amount of work (and cost), so I told them to let it go. A week later, my friend did some basic troubleshooting and in about 15 minutes identified the issue as a bad heater tube assembly. I ordered it from Amazon and replaced it myself and it worked fine. I just feel like if my friend who is not an electrician could so quickly identify the issue, then surely Rio Salado could have.

Description of Work: Installed new switch with remote in 2 rooms. Looked at fan that was not working ( light still working on it) | |Here's the thing. Purchased 2 hrs for $69. Guy brings someone he is training and so now that counts as 2 people for 1 hour. Ok, as they are easy jobs. In fact, easier than I thought. As trainee is installing new switches, other guy takes a phone call and goes outside. Comes in and looks at fan- no idea. Ask him to look why my switch won't control outlet since they were replaced. Guy says "you are killing me." Then says there must be another outlet that is connected to switch. Ok. Whatever. They went a few minutes over the hour but not gonna charge me extra. My thought-since you went out and took a phone call and a smoke break in the hour while the trainee did the work- you sure as h*** better not charge me extra!!!! Can't remember when I had this done but keep getting asked for a review.

Description of Work: In our new home we had one bedroom that wasn't grounded. They searched out the bad ground and fixed it. They also helped me label our electrical panel. However I thought they would use some type of electrical tool. Instead the owner and I stood by the panel turning on and off switches and the other guy would tell us what went off. I just hope all the switches are labeled correctly.
