Rio Salado Electric

I called for an appointment around 8:30 am and Rio Salada was able to send an electrician out within a couple of hours. The electrician called in advance and thereafter was was punctual and courteous. He addressed all problems immediately and the entire job was done within the hour at a very reasonable price. The overall service was impressive and I shall most definitely use these folks for future work.

Electrician showed up an hour and a half after stated time and took almost twice as long as predicted. The ceiling fan required a little extra bracing, so the scope of the work was slightly more complicated than anticipated but was not doubled. Electrician did not clean up adequately, sweeping up ceiling dust with a broom, but having no vacuum to clear the carpet. The primary complaint is the lateness and length of time to complete the job.

They called the night before and told us to get materials from Home Depot. When they arrived they went right to work. They were courteous and efficient. I would them again.

I called Rio Salado to quote me on a electrical panel replacement. I had gotten a quote from another vendor but it was very high. Rio Salado was able to come out the same day for a quote which was a huge help for me. They quoted me half the price of the other guys and were extremely polite and offered a few different price choices and options. I opted for the full replacement and they handled everything from contacting SRP to the city permits all under the original quote. While the service took one extra day to complete I wasn't charged any additional fees and they even followed up a few days later to ensure everything was up to spec. At that point I asked them to help with a ceiling fan instillation and they were more than happy to. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

I purchased the big deal for $69 which includes one hour of labor. Before I did this I spoke to Larry about my job and advised it may be close to the big deal but couldn't say without seeing the job. Issue #1 - The day of the job I scheduled the company for 1pm. I get a call at 11:30AM that they are at my house. I call Larry and ask what is going on. He advised they got the jobs mixed up and will be back later. Issue #2 - Two technicians arrived at my house and installed in the outlet in around 30 min. I then get presented the bill and their is an additional $40 for a half hour for the "extra man." I questioned the gentleman and advised I never asked for an extra man. They then called Larry the owner, he explained they always have 2 men travel together and it saves them travel time also and they can use the HOV lane. I then question Larry about the extra man and he said in order for the outlet to be installed it required two men to fish the wire down my wall from the attic. I advised I never asked for an extra man and explained this to Larry but did not want to argue over it. I paid for an hour of labor yet they were they were 30 min and I got charged an extra $40 for the 30 min of the second man. This makes no sense to me. Two men were coming to my house regardless since Larry advised they always travel in pairs so why I am charged for the 2nd man? Why I am charged for an additional half hour for the 2nd man? I paid for an hour of labor and they were only there for 30 min. Now if you use Larry's logic...I have 2 men x 30 min so I should still be covered. I would not recommend or use this company again due to this practice.

The work was very good. The only reason for the B is that although professional electrician was not very friendly which is important to me.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went very well. We were very happy with their service. They were helpful and they quickly identified and solved the problem. We were going to use them also to install a new remote control for a ceiling fan but it wouldn't fit inside the unit so they weren't able to do that. They did what they could do and they solved 2 problems for us. They're very resourceful and very friendly.

Larry is not only a master electrician but quite a character. We hit it off with the first conversation! I had been taken advantage of by 2 other electricians and I think Larry felt sorry for me and came to my home even though I am way out of their usual area. He gave a fair estimate and advised us of exactly what needed to be done. Larry and his partner were professional, easy to talk to and listened to my description of the problems without second guessing me. I have often been intimidated by service pro's but I was very comfortable with Rio Salado Electric.

They showed up exactly on time, were polite and professional and got the job done quickly for a fair price. I will definitely use them again in the future.

A team of three arrive early in the morning to bury a line of about 100 feet. They worked hard for several hours burying the line in the hard earth avoiding the irrigation system and plants. The next day my irrigation system did not work. I called Rio Salado and he came out immediately and found a irrigation electrical line that had been cut while installing the new line and immediately repaired it. The only reason that i downgraded on professionalism is that i feel the team should have check the irrigation system after the completion of the buried line.

The electrician arrived on promptly on time. He checked all connections and voltage to the dining room light. He determined that the light fixture was installed correctly but the fixture was faulty and recommended putting up a new one. Another light fixture was installed and now works great. The electrician courteous and knowledgeable as well as friendly.

The electricians that came to our home were very pleasant, on time, professional, and knowledgeable. We now have peace of mind in regards to the electrical switch that they reconfigured. We will definitely use the services of Rio Salado Electric in the future and have no qualms about recommending them to family and friends. Very pleased!

The short was suspected to be in a junction box 18 feet up in the ceiling. After arriving and assessing the situation he called for backup as he didn't have a ladder that was tall enough. Backup was there in twenty minutes. Meanwhile he investigated another problem and fixed it. He also gave me advice about electricity to the freezer we keep in the garage. The short was discovered in the suspected spot and fixed without delay. I was very pleased and am very impressed with Rio Salado Electric.

Before I could contact Rio Salado, they e-mailed me letting me know that they do not service my area. I appreciated the quick response.

Two gentlemen arrived at the scheduled time. They were both professional. They took care of loose wires quickly and with good quality. Unfortunately, I don't think they were able to diagnose the problem with why my light bulbs prematurely burn out in the kitchen. Nevertheless, I would use them again.

Signed up for the Angie's List $69 deal on Sunday; they came out promptly on Monday morning. They determined that the microwave was plugged into the wrong circuit (by Home Depot's installer). After relocating the plug to the proper circuit, everything runs fine without tripping any breakers. No additional cost to me for their work. I would use them again and recommend them to others without hesitation.

He did a great job. Very professional and prompt.

They checked all alarms and made recommendations.

He was prompt, called me back with the outcome and let me know what was going on.

Larry answered the phone on the first call and went over what that services I needed completed then agreed to call me back in a couple of hours as to when we could schedule to complete the work. Larry called back as promised and we were able to find a time that worked for both of us to complete the work. I had requested that they call 30 mins in advance to the appointment time which the did and arrived as scheduled. Two guys showed up for the appointment dressed in uniforms and looked professional. Once I showed them what we needed done they went to work. They did great job and were careful not to damage any walls or anything with ladders and tools. They cleaned up after themselves when done and made sure to answer any questions before giving me an invoice. Larry assured me that if I had any problems to let him know and that he stands behind his work. I will defiantly use them in the future.
