They rewired the lights to code and installed the new ones. One of the lights didn't go on at dusk and they came out and fixed the light even though it was not because of them - at no charge. Very easy to work with and Alex was very understanding.

Very good except one thing still not working right. Need to call them back

He was wonderful and figured out how to connect it to an inside switch so I don't even have to go outside to turn it on.

They came on time, did a thorough inspection, answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns, and made suggestions about a couple of minor issues. They didn't rush me, and didn't make me feel silly for asking questions. They were phenomenal!

He changed out several dimmer switches and checked several outlet to make sure was working properly. He did not have a unit on his truck and had to go pick one up. He explained this to us what he needed to do and took less than 30 minutes. I would hire them again for electric work.

My experience with them was not so good. The cost was like $119, but they wanted more money. It was just horrible. They are just a bunch of scabs. They were trying to embezzle us for more money. The workers were dirty, unfit, and not fit for the job. One guy did not bring a ladder. Their promptness was not good. They were late and their professionalism was not good.

Two employees arrived & was punctual courteous & very professional. Estimated price of work was given to me after conferring w/ Boss of the company who also spoke to me by telephone. Found pricing very reasonable. Workmanship outstanding. The Boss later showed up on job site & also approved work. This is a company whose services I purchased late Wednesday night after lights appliances & air conditioning went out. I followed up with a call @ approximately 4am to the 24 hr call line & requested a service call for Thursday. They followed up with me @ 7:10 am & immediately made an appointment for approximately 11am, however they were by 10:30am. Will definitely use this company again.

I placed a call for an electrician to replace a fluorescent fixture.The electrician promptly returned my call, and talked me through an easy do it yourself solution. I will definitely call this company again because I believe they are honest.

Purchased the Daily Deal and within an hour, I received a call to schedule an appointment. The electrician Dave arrived about 10 minutes early, very professional and cordial; went right to work and completed the project prior to the one hour time limit. Another positive aspect of this Daily Deal is that the service call was included in the one time charge of $69 as well as the hour of service. We will continue to use Rio Salado Electric in the future for all our electrical needs.

,We purchased a $69 certificate through Angie's list for one hour of labor from this company. They called the same day to schedule and were hereby 9:00 a.m. the next morning. Dave, the electrician, diagnosed the problem immediately, went out to the truck to grab a new GFCI and was finished with the job in about 10-15 minutes. I could have easily done this myself had if I known what the problem was and if I had the right tools. It was as easy as changing out a plug. Nevertheless we are delighted to have it fixed and worth every penny.. The cost besides the $69 labor charge was $35. Dave was very professional, and fast. We will use this company again if we ever need more electrical work. We are very satisfied.

If you decide to use Rio Salado Electric, I highly recommend buying the supplies or materials on your own before hand. The mark up on materials were 150% for me. Single-pole 15 amp circuits tend to run between $5-$8 in the store, but I was charged $20.50 each. When I asked why the price was so high, I was told it's because they buy their circuits from a specific warehouse which sells higher quality, albeit the same brand, materials than Home Depot or Lowe's. When I called the office manager to ask further about it he told me the same thing. It seems like an excuse to mark the materials way up. While I appreciate that they found the source of the issue and returned power to my house, I don't appreciate being ripped off. I was also charged the full hour for work, even though they were only at my house for half an hour. However, I think this is pretty normal in the field of repairs. It's unfortunate, because they were punctual and fixed the problem quickly and were able to schedule me on short notice. I was just very disappointed at the exorbitant mark up.

These guys were fantastic! Within a week I had accomplished a task off my home repair list. It wasn't an easy job to run a new wire through and cut a new outlet behind my washer/dryer. They were friendly, the quality of work was fantastic and they were in and out faster than they quoted. Will absolutely call and hire again in the future. Thanks Rio Salado Electric!

It went well, he did a fine job but the time allotted caused this job to be way too expensive.

Alex at the company headquarters had previously quoted me $225 for replacing 2 residential GFIs and for installing 2 outside outlets. The two electricians who came to the house were excellent professionals in all regards. Excellent work and cleanup was done. They found that the GFIs did NOT need replacing. However, the bill came to a little more than $400, which after more discussion with Alex, was reduced to $320 - about $100 more than his although the GFIs were not installed. Be sure to get the quotation in writing before proceeding.

They were very kind and worked with me on refunding my deal. I purchased it and then my plug started working again. I would use them again as they were very understanding.
