As a Realtor, I come into contact with a lot of contractors. Most never answer their phones or take forever to return your calls. Tamara and Regal Bath & Kitchens are the exceptions! Tamara with Regal Bath & Kitchens was amazing to work with, we had both bathrooms remodeled as well as kitchen countertops replaced and new flooring installed. All while we were out of town prior to moving in which increased our stress level as we had to find contractors we could trust to come and go into our vacant home to get the job done "unsupervised". Tamara made this easy and stress-free for us. She worked with my wife and me at every step in the process and made sure we were happy. When there was an issue (as there always is in construction) Tamara was fast to communicate the issue and often provided solutions that we would never have thought of ourselves. Tamara and Regal are professional and do quality work, we will always use Regal in the future! Thank you, Tamara and Team, for all your hard work!

So many of the kitchen remodel companies require you to use different companies for tear out, electrical work (under cabinet lighting, etc.), plumbing, sheetrocking, cabinet install, counter/backsplash install, etc. Having to coordinate all of these groups is time consuming and challenging. Regal Bath & Kitchens did it ALL for us. This kept us "on schedule" and they completed the job in the timeframe they said they would. So impressed with all the skills many of their workers have which allows for less downtime waiting for the sheetrockers, etc. to do their part. We highly recommend Regal. They were professional, timely (that's a big one!), efficient, knowledgeable, kept us informed, hard working folks who were a joy to work with. They do first-class work for a fair price. Definitely check them out. You will be happy you did.

We are glad we chose Regal Bath and Kitchens remodeling. The sales experience with Doug was easy and pleasant, we are happy with both Master and guest bathroom. Regal Bath delivered exactly what I envision. We highly recommend.
it went better than we hoped and much better than we expected. This is an organization that has it all together. The consolation, the visits to the display rooms, the origination, the customer focused owner made Regal a great team to work with. The build team arrived every day on time, with all of the materials required, and proceed with their work in a very professional manner. They were exceptional clean and considerate of our home and living space. They were great to work with. The quality of the finished product was excellent.

We dealt with Jim at Regal Bath & Kitchen in remodeling our master bath. The tub was removed and a walk-in shower was designed. Granite was used on the shower benches and around the vanity sinks. The sink faucets were wall mounted. The couple who did the tile work were perfectionists and tiled a medallion in the entry to the shower. The kitchen back splash was tiled also. Jim had every detail under control and the remodel went very smooth. It was a pleasure dealing & working with Jim, a real professional, and we highly recommend Regal.

Do I have to choose one word to describe? If so then I can't. There are too many positive adjectives to describe this company: Honest, detail oriented, perfectionism, respectful, superb, wonderful, amazing - Overall 10 STARS. Our journey began when we went to bid for the kitchen remodel - new cabinets, counter tops, kitchen sink, faucet, back splash and island on wheels. We had received several quotes, all outside of our budget. After emailing everyone that message, Jim was the only one who replied back and said let's see what we can do to get you within budget. What???? WOW!!!!!! What company does that? THIS ONE DOES!!! After MULTIPLE back and forths with quotes questions and renderings we were able to proceed WITHIN BUDGET. Of course we were told the cabinets would be ordered and ready by the time the project started. I will be honest and say I've heard that in the past from friends who have had their kitchens remodeled and it didn't happen. But MY OH MY OUR CABINETS WERE IN THE GARAGE DAY 3 OF THE PROJECT!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! WOW WEE!!!!!!!!! James was our guy - he demo'd and installed the kitchen by himself. He is a WORK HORSE. He never stopped except for lunch. He was respectful - told us when he was going to lunch, had ear phones on so we didn't hear music (we were both working from home at this point). Came when he said he would and cleaned up before he left. Countertops were installed EARLIER than expected. Eric who did our backsplash was just as amazing as James. I was planning on using a product that would separate the tiles but when installed on the first wall it just didn't work. Instead of just installing because the customer said so, he stopped to explain the problem and the solution. He also suggested tiny details that I myself never thought of and his suggestions and install were SPOT on. LOVE OUR BACKSPLASH!! OH Did I mention from start to FINISH - 3 and a half weeks!!!!!!!!!! WHAT!!! Now mind you ours was a small remodel but golly gee I was expecting 6 plus weeks. I honestly cannot say enough about this company and the employees. I read ALL the reviews and checked their license (IMPERATIVE when hiring a contractor). EVERY review of Jim and Regal is SPOT on. Can't wait to have them come back and remodel our master bath. There is NOONE else I would trust but them. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

The work was excellent with strong attention to details. The crews arrived on time and made sure to not make a mess in the house. They removed the old cabinets, tub, toilet and tile. They built a shower with a glass door, laid new tile and installed new cabinets with a countertop.

Regal Bath and Kitchens did a beautiful job remodeling our master bathroom. We wanted to get rid of the bathtub, the tiny shower, and the 90’s style lower vanity with the massive mirror. We didn’t even think there was room to do all that we wanted but their end result made the room look larger than it was . Best of all, this was at a price we could afford. Rich helped us get things started by meeting at the showroom to see styles on display and to pick out tiles for the floor and walls. We could see the samples for the vanity, the sinks and the fixtures. It made it easier to coordinate things when we could see how everything looked together, and we were able to select exactly what we wanted in each area. We did have to choose a second tile by going to Floor and Décor later on because our wall tile was out of stock, but the replacement one was beautiful and the sales lady there also helped us coordinate things. The remodel included removing a wall and some other decorative arches in the bathroom. They had to move the water pipes for the shower. The shower included so many nice features – a bench, a toe pick near the shower heads, two shower heads – a rain style one and a hand held one – a switch to use one or both heads at the same time, a niche for toiletries, and the controls to turn the water on near the entrance to the shower so it was warm by the time we got into the shower. They also agreed to install new light fixtures, towel racks and mirrors which we purchased elsewhere. They suggested that we hire others to paint the walls for us. They did an exception job with the plumbing. The slope of the floor in the shower is just right so that all the water runs into the drain and the drain is big enough that it has never gotten clogged. Whenever, we had a problem or concern, Rich was reassuring saying that he would take care of everything we wanted. The crew was proud of the work they did and were always cheerful to have working in our home. John was especially careful of keeping the dust off our rugs and in the master bathroom area. Every day he carefully covered the beds with plastic so they could be used at night. Jesus worked exceptionally hard getting the tiles on the bottom of the shower installed. The end result has received a “Wow” from everyone who sees it. We would hire them again to remodeled our hall bath.

Regal Bath and Kitchens did an excellent job from start to finish. We met with Rich and had a quote within a week that detailed the job scope and gave us allowances on our choices for materials including tiles, plumbing fixtures, quartz countertop and replacement tub. After approving the quote, we met with Rich at his business in Mesa to review the project details and make a down payment. We set a work start date at this meeting. This meeting was several weeks prior to the start date of the project, thus giving us time to finish selecting all our remaining materials. We liked working with a company who plans a future timeline and takes the schedule seriously. Rich was able to meet the agreed upon start date and we appreciated that. We had several team members working on the project, each person with an area of expertise. All the workers were very courteous, professional, tidy and friendly. Work progressed very smoothly. Mario did the lion’s share of the work, very often working alone. Mario is a skilled craftsman who has many various skills including being an excellent tile installer. He pays attention to the details, which is of crucial importance in making any project a success. He kept a regular and punctual schedule, which was appreciated. Mario was open to our input and communicative with us. That was also appreciated. Mario did a beautiful job with the wall tile installation! We couldn’t be more pleased with it. He has an ability to foresee problems in a tile layout and to prevent them. He built the bench at the end of the tub and the tub niche and he installed a perfect tile layout, which we love!! Our tile runs continuously across parts of all 4 walls, which is a tile design that has built-in challenges. The work is flawless. The floor tile was also beautifully done by Mario. The floor tiles are huge, each individual tile is 2 feet by 4 feet. He worked all alone laying these tiles. All the tile cuts are perfect, and the floor is level and exquisite. We are extremely happy with the new bathroom and the work that all the employees at Regal Bath and Kitchens did. We have another bathroom to do and we will certainly use Regal again and we recommend them to anyone needing work done.
Description of Work: Full bathroom remodel. Also installed new plumbing for a sink in garage. Demo and replace bath cabinets, bathtub, lighting, medicine cabinet and tile. Bathroom was taken back to wallboard and smooth coating put over existing wall texture. New tiles on floor, on backsplash, tile wainscoting, tile tub surround and tile on new bench at the end of the tub. A new large medicine cabinet was recessed into the wall over the countertop.

This is my second time using Regal Bath and Kitchens. What I like about Regal is that they deliver what they promise. This company has highly skilled and experienced installers, quality products and materials, reasonable prices, organized project plans, on time delivery and on budget. This summer Regal completed a small bathroom remodel and I was so pleased that I had them recently remodel my master bath. Wow - I really like it. My new bathroom is gorgeous! Regal installed a beautiful soaker tub and shower, double vanity, new toilet, tile floor, new light fixtures and all bronze matching accessories. Dave, the installer, completed all of the work in a week instead of the two that I had expected. I could tell he was a real pro as his work was exceptional. If you are looking for a great contractor and first rate company call Rich at Regal. As an experienced contractor, he will work with you to create a cost effective plan and he will oversee the project until completed. He is easy to work with and tries hard to make sure you are satisfied with the results. You will be able to visit the Regal showroom and pick out the products that you want used for your remodel. You won’t be disappointed.

As usual, Regal Bath & Kitchen performed exactly as I needed and hoped, on my kitchen refresh (countertop, sink, faucet, backsplash, cabinet hardware). They were on time, on budget, flexible when I needed them to be, and the work is superior. I'm getting a price now for remodeling both bathrooms--would not consider another contractor. I've recommended them to friends and neighbors, and my own family, and will continue to do so.

I first found Regal Bath on Angie’s List in May 2019. I got several quotes from bathroom remodelers from Angie’s List and picked their bid based off great reviews and a reasonable price – they were neither the highest nor lowest bid. Shortly after, I made a trip out to their showroom in E. Mesa where I picked out fixtures, flooring, hardware, etc. The owner checked the schedule against crew availability and scheduled my job to start on July 15th, 2017. Between the end of May and the start of my job in July, the owner or his daughter/estimator came to the house twice to finalize the contract and then to bring tile/hardware to the house to see it in situ. Great service so far! While I waited for the job to begin, I began to pick out the remaining items to complete the job such as the pocket door slab, light fixtures, towel bars and medicine cabinet. Because the budget for these items was not expressly listed on the estimate, I ended up going over budget. I asked for a budget list for the items and got a little pushback but explained I needed them so I could pick items appropriately. I did get the list after a couple of emails and found in-budget items for everything but the door slab which I paid the difference on. I sent the list to the owner and he ordered everything but the door slab which was coming from Wayfair. July 15th rolled around and the demo crew showed up and started work. Things went smoothly with people tearing out items and delivering materials in a timely fashion. I especially appreciated that they had a woman on their work crew. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves and stashing the materials away in a compact manner in my 700 square foot guest house. Work proceeded at a good pace and the worker was clean and professional and wore headphones to listen to music as I was often home when he was there for which I was grateful. During the job, a special “gas guy” came to reroute the gas line from the wall it had been in to the new wall for the washer/dryer. When he was done, he indicated that he “thought” he had the water heater back on but couldn’t tell because he couldn’t see the pilot light. I asked him to turn it to “low” because it was the middle of summer in Phoenix and the “cold” water can get pretty hot. Also during this time, I noticed a “clonking” in the walls whenever the water was used in the main house, especially when the washer was running over there. This didn’t concern me at the time because I just assumed there was air in the pipes from re-plumbing and it would work itself out. Spoiler alert – it’s still clonking. The job was supposed to take 2 weeks but ended up taking longer because the door was not ordered in a timely fashion. This dragged out the job another two weeks. The majority of the project was done but there was no door on this room which faces the living room. Also, it turned out the corner shower curtain rod needed extra support and a few of the fixtures in the shower needed to be siliconed on. The door finally came and was installed, painted and framed to my satisfaction. I ended up having to find a shower rod support bar myself which the owner purchased and the worker installed along with siliconing the fixtures. The supervisor came out to inspect the job. All was right with the world. I let the owner know that I was happy and that I would leave a good review and asked him which site(s) I should post to. He indicated Angie’s List. Labor Day was approaching and I started looking for sales on stackable washer/dryer units. That’s when I noticed that where the washer/dryer was supposed to go – there was water, gas and dryer vent but NO ELECTRICAL OUTLET! I sent a picture of this to the contractor and their guy came out to fix it that next Saturday during Labor Day weekend. Although I don’t yet have a washer and dryer there, I plugged my portable infrared sauna in and everything worked well. Except my AC. Somehow the AC circuit had flipped when the worker was installing the new outlet and I couldn’t get it to stay in the on position, try as I might. I tried contacting the owner by text several times and he must have contacted the worker. Several hours later, the worker texted me back to see if I was still having problems. Meanwhile, the outdoor temperature was around 108 degrees and my house was HOT. In desperation I contacted the awesome contractors (A&M Mechanical LLC) who installed my AC thinking that there may be a reset switch on the unit. They were the ones who called me back within 30 minutes on a holiday weekend and walked me through resetting the circuit – which turned out just to be extremely stiff and hard to reset. When the worker texted, I told him it was fixed. Another month went by and Phoenix was finally cooling down. I decided it was time for the hot water to be turned up a notch. When we went out to do this (the water heater is outside in a metal enclosure), we discovered that the water heater had been off all summer and the pilot was not lit. In addition, the front of the metal enclosure was off and leaning against the wall and had been since late July. Note that the water heater is in a narrow alley on the side of the guest house behind the pool pump. We never noticed that the door was off because you couldn’t see it from the mouth of the alley. We got the water heater lit and when the water finally got hot, I discovered that the hot and cold water were reversed in my bathroom sink. I dutifully wrote the owner to see if he could send his guy out to correct that issue as well as silicone the sink faucet fixture down and figure out why my plumbing was still clonking when the water was going in the main house. He did respond within 48 hours and told me he would have someone there the following week. The worker usually comes to fix stuff on Saturday so I wasn’t concerned until I hadn’t heard from the owner towards the end of that week. When I sent him another email to see when the worker was going to show up, I got no response. Same for yet another follow-up email. Finally I’d had enough and wrote on Monday 10/7 that I would be filing an official complaint if I didn’t hear from him by Tuesday a 5 pm. Tuesday came and went and no response whatsoever. It has now been 10 more days and I am finally filing this complaint. We had already completed paying for this project on the timeline specified in the contract when I discovered these additional problems. Unfortunately this lack of communication and customer care really soured me on this company. Instead of writing a good review for this company I have become very frustrated with this situation and have steered people away from working with them. This is unfortunate because we have a close-knit historic neighborhood and we all tell each other about good and bad experiences we have with contractors in hopes of finding some gems. Alas, Regal Bath and Kitchen was a potential gem that has now turned to coal.
Description of Work: The job was a remodel of the bathroom in my guesthouse (where I currently reside). The bathroom had not been updated since the place was built in 1952. The job included: Demo the existing bathroom, including tearing out a closet that backed up to the inside of the bathroom from the living room which necessitated tearing out a wall in the living room and one of the shower walls that housed the plumbing and the gas line into the house. The plan was to make room for a stackable washer/dryer in the bathroom making the guesthouse a self-contained rental. Replace all fixtures (toilet, sink and vanity, medicine cabinet, shower pan/walls, vanity and shower lighting), new flooring, fir out back wall behind the shower and washer/dryer area to house the plumbing, electrical and gas (for the dryer), paint, hang a corner shower curtain rod and grab bars in shower, add a pocket door instead of the swing door it had before.

Response from Regal Bath & Kitchens
[Member Name Removed], I am very sorry that you are unhappy with the job we did for you. Our goal is to do the very best that we can for every customer and try to minimize any hiccups. I do admit we are not perfect and do make mistakes from time to time. There may have been a couple areas we fell short on your job and I apologize for that. We do make every effort to correct and make right any issues that come up. The fact that out of 140 Angie's List reviews there are 134 "A"s shows that we do work very hard to make our customers happy. There was a couple discrepancies in your review I would like to point out. 1. The original estimate was for $ 1,250.00 not $ 1,500.00. That was only until your father decided to get involved at the very last minute and renegotiate the contract. I should have walked away at that point but unfortunately I did not. 2. The estimate called for a regular pocket door, the kind from Home Depot. 2 weeks prior to the start date, you decided you wanted a upgraded door from Wayfair and I told you that would delay the job due to shipping. 3. We did make every effort to remedy all punch list items in a timely manner. I personally reached out to you by phone but if you don't answer the phone there is nothing I can do. 4. As far as responsiveness goes, I think you may be referring to your friend that came to the showroom with you. He asked for a bid on a very small kitchen backslash which I explained to him that was so small, would need to be something I would have to fit in between the larger jobs. I did call him when an opening became available but he declined. He did call me after that but I was unable to accommodate that small of a job at the last minute.

We hired Regal Bath and Kitchens to remodel our kitchen and powder room. We worked with Jim and his team throughout the projects. He said the job would get done in 4 weeks and it was completed in 3 weeks! Their show room had a ton of options to help put your ideas to life. We had 3 companies come to our house for a quote for the remodel and Jim was the only one who sent us a quote WITH renderings the very next day. This efficiency showed throughout the project, so we knew we had chosen the right contractor for the job. Jim communicated very well through email and text, so there were no surprises with anything, even the budget. He could have nickeled and dimed us with certain things and we are very grateful that he didn’t. I know other contractors would have. His team was very professional and personable. We had a good time getting to know them. We are ecstatic with our new kitchen and powder room! I’d definitely recommend Jim with Regal to any of my family and friends.

Regal Bath and Kitchens recently remodeled my hall bathroom. They installed new tile flooring, removed the tub and installed a shower, new toilet. vanity, light fixtures etc. I am VERY pleased with the work and my bathroom is beautiful! The Regal crew (Chris and Eric) completed the work on time and were highly skilled and experienced installers. I originally got bids from other contractors but their bids were either too high or their products were poor quality. Some were very unprofessional in their sales approach. I was sold on using Regal after talking to Jennifer and Rich, both of whom are detail oriented, experienced professionals. They were able to offer me reasonable options to stay within my budget. I was also very impressed by their showroom and the high quality and beautiful product choices available. I highly recommend Regal and have asked them to now remodel my master bath. Give them a call. You won’t be disappointed! Rich and Jennifer at Regal will make it an easy process for you to plan and complete a remodel.
