Description of Work: The technician serviced our two furnaces. He also installed a surge protector on the two new air conditioners.

 + -1 moreFantastic group. They give me a number of dates to choose from and I pick the best date that is best for us. I don't have to call them a month in advance. I was so pleased with their work that I wrote the chairman of the company.
Description of Work: They maintain our equipment. We have an annual maintenance contract. They come out twice a year - once in the spring and once in the fall. The maintenance typically takes about an hour to an hour and a half. They check all the lines, clean the condensers and make sure that both units are working properly. In the wintertime, they check the jets, clean if necessary and check the vents.

 + -1 moreFirst, the company knew we needed a new unit when the old one broke down. They called later on Friday to say they could come on Saturday (next day) if we wished at no additional charge. We agreed and they were here on time at 8:00 AM. The installer from R T Brown were very careful, polite, cleaned up following completion of installation. They programmed unit and then took the time to explain everything after the units were tested to assure everything in working order . We selected R T Brown as they were the original company that put the A/C in when our home was built in 1997. They have been a first class company that was responsive to any maintenance service we had each year. We have recommended R T Brown to friends because they are dependable, do quality work at reasonable prices.
Description of Work: Removed old A/C system from attic and installed new seer 16 A/C in its' place.

 + -1 moreThis company always does a great job fixing and servicing my ac/heating. They have different service plans that save money on biyearly servicing. They are always on time and will inform you if parts are not working correctly so that you can repair them before they break. I have been using this service for 6 years now and never had any problems.

 + -1 moreThey also service all my stuff twice a year for about 16 years now. They have always done a good job and I have always been satisfied.
Description of Work: My 16 year old AC needed major repairs and I decided not to put that much money in an old one. This company had provided satisfactory service in the past so I called them. They sent out a portable AC at no charge until I could get a new unit installed. Their salesman and a technician checked over my house and what I had and then gave me advice as to what I needed. The other cos. did not do that. The salesman was polite and patient and answered all my questions.so I could understand. He did not push the highest priced units at all. We decided on a mid priced unit that will still save energy. The installers were punctual, worked hard straight thru so I could get the new unit up and running asap. They were all polite and professional. Their price was in line with others but they spent more time to see I had the right size unit for my house. The office called a few days later to make sure everything was ok and working right..

 + -1 moreThey come on time and do what they are supposed to do. They do a good job and so I haven?t had any trouble with the units. I would recommend them to others too. The price that they charge is fair. The AC works fine in the summer. I will use their services again in the next year.

Description of Work: Semi annual service on mechanicals. This is the RT Brown Platinum plan where I receive two preventative maintenance inspections, also receive priority scheduling on service calls and discount on parts if needed.

 + -1 moreWHEN WE HAD OUR HOUSE BUILT THIS COMPANY WAS THE CONTRACTOR THAT INSTALLED THE HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM IN OUR HOME. WE HAD OUR A/C SERVICED AFTER THE FIRST YEAR, AND THEY FOUND A FREON LEAK. WE THOUGHT THEY HAD FIXED IT. THE FOLLOWING YEAR, WE HAD THE COMPANY DO AN ANNUAL INSPECTION AND TUNE-UP AGAIN. THEY FOUND OUT THAT THE LEAK WAS STILL THERE. YES, THEY FIXED IT AGAIN. IT WASN'T UNTIL THE THIRD YEAR, WHEN WE HAD THEM DO THE ANNUAL INSPECTION AND TUNE-UP THAT THEY FINALLY FIXED THE PROBLEM CORRECTLY. THEY HAD TO GO THROUGH SOME WALLS TO REPAIR. ACTUALLY, I SHOULDN'T SAY IT'S FINALLY FIXED. WE HAVEN'T HAD AND ARE NOT SCHEDULED TO HAVE AN ANNUAL INSPECTION AND TUNE-UP AGAIN UNTIL NEXT SPRING. I CAN TELL YOU ONE THING THOUGH, I WILL NOT BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I AM GLAD WE KEPT RECORDS, BECAUSE THE REPAIR BILL WOULD HAVE BEEN $1482, EXCEPT WE WERE ABLE TO PROVE THAT THEY INSPECTED AND FIXED EVERY YEAR.
