Description of Work: Pool Remodelers drained & acid-washed our (very large) pool, sanded the calcium nodules, and restarted the pool. In addition, Pool Remodelers restored our tile spa which had been suffering from broken fixtures, missing and broken tiles, and algae. Now, the pool and spa look like new. | We have been using TMC Pool Care (Pool Remodlers affiliate) for 15 years for pool and spa maintenance. We have tried others on occasion, but only TMC/PR regularly informs us of their arrival time in advance, shows up on time, and completes the work with a very high level of quality and professionalism. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: We have an older home with a diving pool. We resurfaced with pebble sheen , |new tile, baja shelf, saltwater conversion and a water feature added. The water feature is exceptional, they did an outstanding job. |We found the price was comparable to some and lower compared to others. The work was done in mostly a timely manner. There were days or a week or so that no one was here. It was not a problem for us as the project was started in January.. |The main issue was Tricia in the office, she became very difficult to work with. She always called eagerly to run our credit card for more money. We added extras, new motor, etc. and insisted on he final payment before I had an accurate accounting of what was paid for and the tax amount. I was told she would get it to me asap. I have called and e-mailed many times but to this day I do not have an accounting or even a response from her. |All in all, we love our pool and so far everything works great. I would just like to have an accounting of the costs. |

+ -1 moreI usually get 3 estimates before doing anything more than $1000. This case shows why that's a good thing. This was the first company that came out, and they probably do great work. However, 3 more companies came in with estimates at about half, that varied by less than 5% of one another.
Description of Work: Estimate only, came out to almost exactly twice what three other licensed, bonded & insured companies bid for the same work. It may be that some contractors double the estimate when they get into an affluent neighborhood.

+ -1 morePOOL REMODELERS WERE MOST HELPFUL IN GIVING US PROMPT COURTEOUS SERVICE. THEY WERE VERY GOOD AT ADVISING US ON THE SURFACE OF OUR POOL. THEY GAVE THEIR OPINION TELLING US THE PROS AND CONS OF DIFFERENT SERVICES. THEY OFFERED US ADDRESSES OF POOL SURFACES THEY HAD ALREADY DONE SO THAT WE HAD A BETTER IDEA. THEY WERE THE KEY TO GIVING US A VERY NICE POOL.
Description of Work: THEY DID A PEBBLE SHEEN SURFACE ON OUR POOL AND OUR SPA.
