Response from Noah’s Carpet & Tile Cleaning
Hi, I am so sorry you felt it necessary to give us a bad review for an exclusion we have in our fine print. The reason we exclude apartments and condo/townhomes is because we have a much larger rig than the typical van. For us to get in and park we would be blocking not just your unit. We would be blocking multiple units causing them not to be able to exit with their vehicle. Also, on these type residences, we have found it very hard to find a water source close to the unit we're there to clean. As we give easy, no-hassle pricing over the phone and on our Storefront Offers, we cannot see the faucets on each home to make sure they are within reach of our 100 foot water hose. We also exclude these residences due to the risk of an unintended injury to the public. We have several hundred feet of hose as we use truck mount equipment. If we string that along the public grounds a liability claim could arise do to someone tripping over a hose or even a burn because they touch our 240 degree solution hose. We put these exclusions in not to discriminate from anyone or type of home. It is due to our limitation and/or out of an abundance of caution to the public's safety. Angie's List copyright department that creates the Storefront Offers would not allow the explanation to be in there because they need the "Exclusions" to be short and sweet, so they just made sure the apartment, condo/townhome exclusion was fully visible for everyone to see, and then they said if the client asked for a full explanation, they could inquire to us directly. We also don't want people to buy a deal not knowing all the limitations only to learn of them once we arrive at the home. So I am sorry you did not see it before purchasing and you had to request a refund. I'm sure Angie's List was quick with the refund. I only wish you would have asked us in person or by email as to why we do this. However, in your email response to our office once we reminded you that the Storefront Offer fully states we do not clean apartments, condos/townhomes, was that you "understood". So in all our communication to you by written email shows you completely understood, and our quick and immediate response to all your emails, so we are perplexed as to why you then gave us a bad review. So I apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will reconsider changing the grade of D, as to be honest we truly did not deserve.
