Truck broke down on a very hot day. Dealer towed them in and gave them a loaner they put there tools in the loaner and made it to my house at 7:30 pm. Finished at 8:30, took the old heater and Walaa, I'm happy

After my water heater crapped out, I started scrounging Angies for a plumber to come out and replace it. As usual, even the highest rated contractors won't quote you a price or a ball park figure over the phone. I mean come on guys, I can tell you everything you need to know, this isn't a one of a kind install, you can quote me a worst case I have to replace a couple of copper lines and a valve number. The I started in on Lowes and Home Depot, the price on their units was ok I suppose, but adding installation almost doubled the price, no thank you. Returning to Google I found these folks http://www.newtech-plumbing.com/Water_Heaters.html and gave them a ring. Someone answered, no press x for sales, y for voice mail or z to do nothing. The person I spoke to gave me a price on the spot, was up front with any additional costs which might be incurred, the website where I could find the heater they sell, warranty info ect. No pressure at all. While I was on the phone I researched their heaters (Bradford White) and decided to schedule a time. They told me they would be happy to do the job between 1:00 and 3:00. At 12:30 the technician called me and told me they'd be here within an hour. An hour later they where here and shortly after the new water heater was installed. They cleaned up the work area, took away to broken unit, and handed me the bill for exactly the amount discussed. Thanks guys, saved me from a weekend 'honey do' and did it for less then I could have done it for.
