Description of Work: Our electric lawnmower was not working and they said they would evaluate it to see if it could be fixed. We did not here back for about three weeks and when we called they said that the mower could not be fixed.

Description of Work: I was having problems with a chain saw. Turns out, it was a minor problem which he fixed immediately at a minor charge. It was a pleasant experience. I do recommend Mesa rental.

 + -1 moreNow, to me, this is where the "BEST" customer service comes in. You see "Charlie" could have told me a lot of different things were wrong with "WALL-E" and it was going to take days to fix, and cost hundreds of dollars. In addition to that, he would have been able to rent me a "WALL-E" substitute and make even more money. That is "NOT" how Mesa Rental Center, Inc. works!!!! The whole crew over there is as honest as the day is long, and it is not always about making a buck, it is about, "CUSTOMER SERVICE"!!! Their honesty is what keeps customers like me coming back. When I told the grandkids "WALL-E" was fixed and going camping with us, you should have seen the look in their eyes!! Now I did tell them that grandpa was to blame for the whole problem, and they said I should take better care of "WALL-E"!!! I told them I agreed, and would do better in the future. I know this letter is a little long, but, sometimes it is worth the extra mile to tell a story that just might make someone smile.
Description of Work: Let me start by saying, we have been using Mesa Rental Center, Inc. off and on for many years, so turning them for my latest problem was a no-brainer. My generator "WALL-E" (my seven grandkids call the generator that, because it looks like the character in the movie.), would not stay running and we were leaving in two days for a camping trip with two of our grandkids. I called "Charlie" and explained what my dilemma was, and he said to bring it in and he would do his best to find the problem and fix it in the short time we had, even though, he had other jobs ahead of mine. He said that if he was not able to fix it in time, he would rent me a generator that looked like "WALL-E" and give me a "big" 30% off the rental cost, since mine was in the shop. Now, you would think that was good customer service and our camping trip was going to be saved, one way or the other.Well, later that afternoon, "Charlie" called and said "WALL-E" was only low on oil and was shutting itself off!!! It was at that moment, I felt even shorter than I already am!!!! He told me about a built in shut off switch, that saves the motor from burning itself up, when low on oil. The first words that came to mind were: "Idiot Proofing". He suggested doing an oil and filter change, and I could pick it up in a few hours. I said "Yes" and thanked him for finding my problem so fast.

 + -1 moreThis place moved from the prior location, but it looks like they have a few more pieces of equipment and some of it (including the dethatcher I rented) are new. In the past, some of their equipment was a bit worn out, but not this time. The dethatcher rented to me worked great and I got my lawn done faster than in the past.
