Master Rooter

This was the second company I had come look at the leak in my toilet. The first one I thought was expensive. However he only wanted to replace the wax ring for the toilet for $600. So I contacted Angie's list and they sent out master router who to my surprise said I had a major problem in my home. That my walls had too much moisture and it was dangerous. The master bathroom supposedly had 100% humidity and the guest bathroom varied from 27 to 47% humidity. That was supposed to be very dangerous. They said my flange was below the tile level which they said was not right. I have since found out that is incorrect. I had not asked them to check out the master bathroom but they had me extremely concerned that I was living in a hazardous situation. Before I knew it, my guest bathroom was completely gutted and my master bathroom was partially gutted. A restoration company called copperstate came in on their tails and had me even more concerned about what was going to happen in my home.I erroneously thought they were under Angie's list also. I can't complain about the quality of the work from master router because it was good I was just not prepared to do $20,000 worth of repairs to my home. Especially since it was not needed from what the previous company had said. My insurance company is no longer responding and has paid only a portion of what things have cost me. and so I have now had to fork out nearly $20,000 and my master bathroom is still not finished. I do have to admit that they did find an issue with the repair done by Roto-Rooter in 2018 but that should not have cost me the kind of repairs that master router forced me to have done. I would not have had to have two major bathrooms gutted. I have not told him about things like the bubbler that they cut nor that I still am not happy with the cement repair but I am concerned because I've complained about him the cement several times. I'm afraid they won't ever make it any better. I would like it if master router could give me a partial refund because it would never have cost me this kind of money if they had just repaired the toilet the way the other company recommended. The toilet in the guest bathroom still has its original symptoms from the problem that the contractor was supposed to fix.

The representative did an excellent job. He was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. There were two problems. He didn't check with me to determine what style toilet seat I wanted, didn't show it to me after he got it, and I didn't check it before he left. The office didn't give me a lot of information to help me buy another one from their "supplier:". I requested he receipt three times before I got it. In summary, be sure you closely check the replacement parts and that you get a receipt when the job is finished.

The tech Jorge from Master Rooter was very knowledgeable, friendly and quick at fixing a botched job from another company.My family was very impressed with his work and would definitely recommend him to all family & friends if a plumbing problem arises. He relocated the toilet plumbing for us correctly and in a timely manner. Thanks Jorge!

I had a backed up toilet and shower. This company came out, charged me over $600 to flush out the drain through an opening on my roof. The man never went through the Toilet or the Masterline (this didn't solve the problem) He also told me my water pressure was too high and needed a valve for a few hundred to fix that ( had another company come out for a quote on a water softener that afternoon and they told my my water pressure was fine and showed it to me). Then told me he was sending a camera guy the next day (the man and the camera guy both came the next day) and said he put a camera down the drain and need the kitchen drain flushed out due to oil, which will be another $600. I told him i'm not paying another $600 when it may not resolve the problem. The next day I called again because toilet and shower were still backing up, he came out and said he couldn't fix the problem unless I paid another $600 for the kitchen. Next day, I called another company, Rooter Rooter to come out, they went through my toilet, located the Masterline and located the problem, which was not the kitchen sink. I spoke with the owner of Master Rooter, who defended his employee and said I should have said something sooner and what does he want me to do about it, fire the guy? I feel the tech didn't know what he was doing and took advantage of me being a woman, not familiar with plumbing. This was a very expensive lesson learned and I will never recommend this company.

A blocked toilet opened up. I definitely will use this company again.

The cartridge was seized up and broke as I was repairing. I was quoted a repair of $850+drywall and paint. Jorge came out and fixed it within an hour for $225 and no need to go through drywall. Great job guys!

They are timely and professional.

They identified roots on the sewer and dug it out. They were xceptional. They showed up when they're supposed to and cleaned up after themselves

It was great. They were on time, friendly, and knowledgeable.

It was good. They got it done in couple of days. I felt like they were able to kept us informed. They fix it on budget and consistent with the quote they gave me.

I had never used them before but I was happy with their service. They were very speedy with their service. Their customer service is really exceptional. They ended up fixing up the problem.
