We began the backyard project with a concept of what was wanted. The team at Mauriano was able to put together a comprehensive plan that met our needs and approval. Throughout the project, Steve, Lloyd, Joe, and Justin were helpful in helping us navigate any concerns or changes that we requested were acted upon with consultation. We always received alerts/notices of what to expect on a daily basis through email and text. The workers were dependable and demonstrated attention to the details of the plan. From the beginning of the project to the end, a commitment to the work was completed through patience, honesty, integrity, and treating us with respect. Thank you to all those at Mauriano who devoted their expertise to this project. Through their actions, I can say that they were professional in their efforts to meet our expectations. Where to begin? I just canâ t say enough good things about Mariano and Co.! This was our second time using them. The first was a partial remodel (kitchen, flooring and paint). This time, we did everything else, to bring the rest of the house up to the same, high quality, level. This was a massive job, broken up into 3 phases. We also lived in the house during the entire process (5 ½ months). We started, like last time, by meeting with the dynamic duo, Lucien and Lauren! Lucien took the time to listen to all our wishes and Lauren brough it to life with her design work. We had multiple meetings, where we could fine tune the scope of the work and design options. At no point did it feel like we were bothering them, with quick texts or emails. They always responded very quickly. We are so comfortable with Lauren that when she would present us with options, we could just say â which one would you do?â and go with that. In fact, during construction, she noticed one of the colors on the physical tile didnâ t match the picture, so she came out to see us immediately, with alternative options she had prepared. During construction, you get an email, nightly with what to expect the following day. There are no surprises. Rob and his team are top notch. Steve, Scott, Richard, Jose, Carlos, Ephraim, Ryan were so professional and courteous. They got to know the kidsâ ¦and the dogs! The attention to detail is fantastic. There were many times where I thought an area was completed, but they were back fine tuning it even more. Finally, they took the time to address all my punch list items. I never felt rushed for them to mark everything as complete. I also know, if something comes up, down the road, I can just reach out to our â contractor for lifeâ !

From start to finish the folks at Mariano's are a cut above everyone else. From the time you contact them, the design phase and work phase the staff there are just fantastic. Not only do what they promised, but the expertise and yes the friendliness and caring of the staff is just plain awesome. I plan on using them again this fall and again the future. Title: Exceptional Emergency Service by Mariano & Company! I can't express enough gratitude for the outstanding service provided by Mariano & Company. Our hot water heater decided to fail overnight, and when we called in the morning, they responded within minutes, even on a weekend. Within 30 minutes, they had a skilled plumber confirmed and ready to fix the issue the same day. Knowing we can rely on Mariano & Company during a home crisis is priceless. Our projects are small compared to other's home improvement needs, but this is our contactor for life! Every detail, conversation, design, budget review etc was honored and met beyond compare. We are so thankful for a company who sees their customers as more than just a project. They set realistic goals, and follow through. Two projects down and one more to go. We started on the west side of our house in Las Sendas and did a complete remodel of the kitchen (check out the pic in their 2023 magazine). Now, we had the pros at Mariano & Co. design and create a one-of-kind buffet that provides a unique transition from the kitchen into the family room. Finally, we are waiting for the third project to start where they will be removing a 90s-style entertainment wall with cubbies on the east side of the house in the family room and creating a modern space with lower cabinets and a shiplap wall for a monster TV. Once you start working with Lucien, Michelle, Vic, Steve, Dave and whole crew at this fine company, youâ ll want to remodel everything! We had an excellent experience with Mariano on our home project. Lucien, our project manager and Rebecca, our designer were both very professional and very communicative. John and Rob our two installers both had excellent workmanship. The project was completed in a timely manor and the quality was outstanding. We just had a complete remodel of our master bath completed by Mariano and Co. From the very first day, communication was amazing. We received an e-mail update each day letting us know what they would be working on the following day and who would be doing the work. The designers, especially Lauren, were extremely helpful in helping us select everything including cabinets, tile, lighting, faucets, etc. They really helped bring all of our ideas together. We just had our kitchen remodeled by Mariano & Co. and highly recommend them. Lucien was with us every step of the way from providing us with an estimate, answering questions and resolving any concerns we had throughout the remodel. The design team provided us with a kitchen design specific to our tastes; not a cookie-cutter kitchen. The kitchen would not have been created without a highly trained, experienced and skilled crew which made the kitchen a reality. We were advised each evening who to expect the next day and the crew was always on time. They were very respectful of our home and answered any questions we had during the remodel. In particular, Jacques had an acute attention to detail and was very diligent with the cabinet installation. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and grateful that we used Mariano for our remodel.

Work completed: Total kitchen remodel, new floors downstairs, new stair rail installation, rewire of kitchen lighting and switches, gas appliance connection installation, removal of waste, new baseboard installed, crown molding install, and new light fixture installation. We started out design in April, ordered materials in June, started construction in September, and completed construction/punch list at the end of November. Excellent overall experience. The entire team was involved and responsive throughout the entire experience. Michelle made out design process incredibly easy. She chauffeured us around to several different sites to pick out all the details and countertops. She made the whole design process feel like we were first class customers. She has great taste and gave us just enough options to ensure that we never hit decision paralysis . Lucien was forthright with everything about the job and I never felt disillusioned about what to expect or how much I was paying. All of the members were trustworthy and helpful, especially Steve and Cody. At one point our children accidentally let the dog out and Steve stopped working to help get the dog back into the house. The also ensured that the worksite was cleaned up daily and before they left for the weekend. Jim gave us daily updates on what work was going to be completed for the day and who would be arriving. He was always accurate about who would be on the job. He also clearly communicated when things were not going according to plan. This was a rare occurrence. When it came to closing out the job we reviewed the contract together and settled any discrepancies. I also pointed out all of the details I wanted addressed. Everyone of them was handled to our satisfaction. I will definitely be using them again in the future to redo my upstairs and add in a pool. Honestly can't say enough great things. A must if you want to support local business!

Some home remodelers promise a five star experience but then don't deliver. Mariano & Co. actually delivers on their promise. From the planning and design phase, to the completion of your project, they are not happy unless you're happy. Their staff are experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. We love our new kitchen and the way our entire project turned out. They even handled a problem, not of their making, after the project was completed. Mariano & Co. will be our "for life" contractor. We had a complete home remodel in mind. Vic Mariano came over and did the estimate and was the only contractor that asked questions & gave recommendations to enhance to our home. The Mariano team gave us the design drawings & cost budget The design staff was awesome Emma went through the process with us of choosing flooring, granite counter tops,tile, cabinets and along with fixtures and paint to say the least. When the project was starting up Vic had a start up meeting so Jim & his team new exactly what needed to be accomplished for a 2 phase project. Jim kept us updated with a daily status & the next day work activity. The team worked to a Team Workbook showing drawings & material requirements. The working team was very professional & friendly and worked as a professional unit at all times. Mike Jones had the correct material & piece parts at the sight location on time & in order. We had change orders by removing popcorn ceilings & filling in a sunken living room to say the least. There was no panic ; we were all aware of budget changes & Aston kept us all up to date on costs & payment goals. This was a truly a great experience with Mariano & Co, on budget & ahead of schedule.

When Lloyd Knox of Mariano & Co showed up at our house to estimate our kitchen remodeling job--the only remodel in 104 years--he took a ring off his finger and placed it on the floor. It accelerated across the kitchen toward the living room. The noise it made sounded like the ringing of a cash register. It confirmed that the entire floor would have to be replaced. Mariano's merits include the gumption to take on a remodeling job that resembled restoration. The kitchen was part of a handmade house whose adobe walls were made onsite in 1916 by diverting an irrigation ditch to the property. The east wall alone weighs an estimated 12,300 pounds, and what it has lacked in being plumb and square it more than made up for in stability. The craftsmen and project reps were skillful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to meet and talk to. Francisco did meticulous work in installing the porcelain tile. Jim caught a joint misalignment in the granite backsplash and had the subcontractor redo it the next day. Estimated arrival times and completion dates were spot-on. I and my wife recommend the Mariano team.

I was nervous about choosing a contractor for my bathroom remodel. Working with Mariano & Co was easy and they helped me through every step from designing to letting me know who was coming and on what days. I am very happy with the final results. My 50 year old bathroom looks brand new. Karen L

Let me start by saying a lot of contractors talk a good game when they come out to quote a job. Everything sounds amazing and they make it sound like you will be treated as if youâ  re their only job. Fast forward to the middle of the job and you end up feeling like you're lost in the contractorâ  s schedule. I think weâ  ve all come to expect thatâ  s just how it goes. Well not anymore for us! Mariano and Co. not only made everything sound amazing at the first appointment, but they actually follow through and make the whole experience awesome! When they say â  contractor for lifeâ  (and they say it quite a bit haha), they mean it. Our job consisted of a full kitchen remodel, new tile flooring and a complete interior change of paint color. From the moment we started discussing things with Vic, Lucien and Lauren, we felt as though we were going to be well taken care of. They have clearly been doing this for a long time and know all the ins and outs of what questions to ask and what direction to take the conversation / design ideas in. Most people will have an idea of what they want the finished product to look like. Lucien and Lauren made sure to listen to our ideas, but then add / suggest things that we had never thought of. At times we even felt Lauren was more excited about the selections we made for our kitchen than we were! Not to say we werenâ  t excited about them, but you can tell she really loves what she does. Lucien does a great job of â  point manâ  on the project. He was great to bounce ideas off of and had made some really great suggestions along the way. His (actually the whole teamâ  s) response time to questions, was amazing. Usually same day, at worst, the following morning. Mariano and Co. use an app called Builder Trend. This app is constantly updated / monitored by the whole team. You can view your running job total, change orders, send messages, check payments, etc. It is always up to date. Every night you get a message though the app telling you what will be happening the following day. Even if itâ  s nothing. You always know what to expect, who to expect and what time to expect them. Not once was the evening message wrong. While we werenâ  t living in our house for the bulk of the job, we did visit the house quite a bit and got to know some of the guys on the crews (Emile and Seth made a great combo!). They are all very friendly and would even humor our kids with the endless questions they would ask! Lloyd, Mike and Jim did a great job of coordinating everything from demo to clean up. The whole crew just seems like one happy family. Weâ  ve found our contractor for life and canâ  t wait to use them for our next project! Thank you Mariano and Co.

We recently had Mariano and Co., LLC renovate our Laundry Room. This is our second project with the Mariano Team. Last year, they renovated our Master Bathroom and Guest Bathroom. We were so impressed by the quality of their work that we engaged them again for our Laundry Room update. The photos below show the Laundry Room just prior to the start of the renovation work. They do not show the complete Before situation for the North Wall was completely stuffed with clutter and the area to the left of the washer and dryer was similarly cluttered because the only true storage in the room was the cabinetry above the washer and dryer. Obviously, we wanted to add a sink in the update. We also wanted to make sure that there was a space to hang wet or dry garments, a place for dirty laundry and as much storage area as possible with provisions for a vacuum cleaner, brooms, mops, etc. The Mariano Team was able to deliver this wish list with innovative solutions that used their standard cabinetry. The use of standard cabinets instead of custom cabinets (which they also can provide) kept the cost of our renovation in check When completed, the Laundry Room met, and in many cases, exceeded our expectations. My wife keeps saying that she loves her new Laundry Room because everything has its place (especially the location of the dirty laundry next to the washer) and the room looks beautiful while being completely functional. After photos of the Laundry Room illustrate the function and the beauty of our new Laundry Room and show the dirty laundry storage next to the washer and the storage for our vacuum cleaner, mops, and brooms Everything that was in the room before the renovation (including all the items that were part of the clutter in the North Wall nook and the area to the left of the washer and dryer) are stored in the cabinets and surprisingly, there are a number of open shelves in the cabinets. Some other items of note are that the work was all completed on schedule. As usual for the Mariano Team, each upcoming day s work schedule was detailed along with the names of the individuals coming to the house, in an e-mail sent the night before the work was to be performed. No work on the project was started until the design was agreed upon and the Mariano Team provided an experienced designer to help with the project layout, colors and material selection and coordination with existing materials in the house. All in all, we are pleased with the project and the responsiveness and quality work of the Mariano Team.

Exceptionally professional - was not the least expensive option, but well worth it!
