My entire bathroom was demolished due to a leak in the shower/tub valve. I figured this was a great opportunity to modernize the room. Upon request, Gilberto contacted me and scheduled a review of the area. We reviewed the room and he came up with great suggestions/ideas I never thought of that really improved the area (centered the sink area, electrical outlet placements, etc). Gilberto gave me an estimate that day and it never changed. He and his team changed out the tub, installed drywall, shower walls with my chosen travertine tile, drywalled and painted the existing skylight area (loved this!) , measured and ordered custom cabinets, quartz countertop and replaced the sink, lighting and medicine cabinet. Gilberto even came on a holiday to install all the finishing touches - mirrors, towel bars, etc. Gilberto and his team were excellent! Always on time and respectful of my home. I intend to use them again on my other bathroom. I highly recommend!

Gilberto responded quickly to messages and was on time for all scheduled appointments. His worker installed our kitchen backsplash exactly as requested. Every tile was perfectly placed and the grout lines were minimal. We love it. We would recommend Gilberto to anyone looking to have tile installed.

I had several bids for redoing our courtyard tile. I chose S & M due to the knowledge, professionalism, and recommendation they exhibited. Gilberto remodeled our master bathroom shower with natural stone. He tiled our entire house with wood plank porcelain. His attention to detail and artistic design are masterful and the result is perfection. We met Gilberto when a bathroom restoration after a flood went terribly wrong. Nearly every portion of the project was incomplete or done incorrectly. Gilberto took over and made sure the project was done right at every step. Because of the quality of his work we hired him for a second job and were also very happy with the results. He has a fantastic eye for design and made recommendations we never would have thought of. He also made cost effective recommendations, balancing quality with price. His work areas are clean and we had no issues living in the house during work, even with two young children. Gilberto is polite, respectful, and attentive to timelines.

Attention to detail is Gilberto's forte, or maybe it's his patience. Either way, we couldn't be happier with the project outcome. Gilberto worked tirelessly, patiently, and expertly to transform our aged master bathroom into a beautiful retreat. Gilberto worked with marble and glass tiles for our project which are no easy materials to cut but did so with precision - no rough looking edges here. He cut the marble baseboard so that around the curve of the wall it appears to be one piece. Wow! Gilberto's professionalism really shown through when after adhering 8 pieces of glass tile on the wall, the wife stopped Gilberto and asked if the tile could be laid vertically instead of horizontally. Without hesitation, Gilberto said absolutely, it wouldn't be a problem removing, remeasuring and seeing how the tile will look on the vertical. Brilliant! Each day, Gilberto cleaned up the job site, communicated next steps, and was very respectful with the timing of completion. We are so impressed by Gilberto that we have contracted another job with him to begin in the next couple of weeks. Highly recommend M&R Remodeling.

Gilberto is a talented craftsman who exemplifies the best in his industry. He retiled our bathroom and his work exceeded our expectations. He communicates very well in both English and Spanish, but most importantly he is responsive to our needs and was able to tailor the job to the unique quirks of our bathroom remodel. For example, some of our walls were not straight and he made sure that the walls were precisely in square prior laying the tile. He also coordinated well with other contractors on the job to facilitate the successful completion of the project. Given that he does what he says, communicated proactively when there were options for us to consider, and that he behaved with great integrity, we recommend him highly and look forward to having him do further work in our home in the near future. He was meticulous with clean up, on-time arrivals and was clear in communicating time needed for each stage of our project. Finally, he was transparent with costs and charged fair market rates.

Gilberto was a total professional . He remolded a fireplace wall with tile. He kept the work area clean each day and the results were outstanding. I would highly recommend him

Gilberto did an amazing job with our tile work. One project was our kitchen back splash. I had waited 12 years to complete it as I was looking for the perfect pictured tile above the cook top. Gilberto expertly installed all the tile and the hand painted tile. It is quite the conversation piece. Another project was quite extensive. Our master bath was totally gutted and remodeled. Our custom bathtub/shower is a work of art! We love it soooo much! The walls of our bathroom are tiled as well with the floor tiled with the huge 24 X 36/48 inch porcelain. We love our bathroom. Gilberto is a master craftsman! He is very careful in all he does and does a great job of cleaning up as well. We need to remodel another bathroom(it's already been remodeled a decade ago) but time for a redo soon. M and R Remodeling will be the ones doing it. I highly recommend using them! You will not be disappointed! They are amazing!
