LANDMARK INTERIORS

In 2004 I paid Landmark Interiors half the agreed price prior to starting the job. They refused to repair the spaces between the boards and I refused to pay the final half of agreed price. I called the Registrar of Contractors (ROC) for Maricopa County, Arizona. The ROC met with Landmark Interiors to look at the quality of work. Landmark Interiors filed a civil lien against us in a court that was 4 cities away (approximately 50 miles) even though their sales office was less than 10 miles away from our home. The ROC directed Landmark Interiors to correct the the quality of installation. Landmark Interiors instead agreed to dismiss the lien, not require any more money and not repair the flooring installed. Eleven years later this dismissed lien still remains on my credit report. Recommendation - DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH LANDMARK INTERIORS EVER!

VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HIGH QUALITY COMPANY. COST WAS FAIRLY HIGH THOUGH. PROBABLY COULD HAVE GOTTEN IT CHEAPER AT ANOTHER CARPET STORE, BUT THIS WAS THE HOME BUILDER'S PREFERRED CARPET COMPANY. VERY SATISFIED WITH THE CARPET AND THEIR OVERALL SERVICE.

THE COMPANY REP CAME TO MEASURE THE DAY WE PICKED OUT CARPET. IT WAS INSTALLED AT OUR CONVENIENCE LESS THAN A WEEK LATER. THE INSTALLERS WERE ON TIME AND WERE DONE IN RECORD TIME.
