+ -1 moreThis was the fourth move that we booked with Just In Time due to an immediate home sale and need for duplicate moves into both storage as well as a temporary rental home, then two more moves on to our longer-term home. Every experience was flawless. Without exception, every one of JIT's people were professional, friendly, polite, and they were very careful with our furniture and belongings. This most recent move was another example of moving professionalism. The gentlemen very willingly moved some items that could have been packed or prepared better, but they were very understanding and took care to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. They also worked with our challenges of keeping our dogs out of the home while they moved furniture in, then were patient as we caged the dogs so they could complete the moves onto the patio. They made a very stressful day much more pleasant by adding friendliness and humor! Thanks, JIT - we highly recommend your crews as top-notch professionals. And your rates are very competitive; your people work very quickly and efficiently so the moving charges are kept to a minimum - definitely got our moneys worth all four times! We highly recommend JIT and will definitely only consider them for any future moves.

+ -1 moreI reserved my move a few week ahead of time. I received a confirmation call the day before, and and update call in the morning as they were on their way. Their company truck broke down the day prior to my move, but they rented a truck to make sure my move was covered. The guys were efficient and hard workers. The quoted price was exactly the total that was explained prior to the move. I would definitely recommend this company.
Description of Work: They showed up as scheduled, emptied my small apartment, then to my storage unit, then unloaded everything at my new home in two hours flat. They were careful with my belongings and provided pads and had all their own equipment.

+ -1 moreWe ordered the service a week prior. We were given a time block of 12:00 Noon to 4:00PM. A couple of days before the move, Andy called to confirm the time and date and to offer us an alternate time and date, if we wanted to change. Today, the day of the move, the firm had some scheduling issues, but arrived within the promised time, with an extra person (no extra charge). The three guys were fast, knew what they were doing, and were a pleasure to deal with. They were courteous, professional, all had a business T-shirt uniform, and wasted no time getting the pieces loaded. At the destination, same great service, attitude, and professionalism. I would recommend them without reservation.

+ -1 moreI was influenced by Angies list and unfortunately, did not get another estimate. I sold all my furniture with my house so the move should be relatively easy. They arrived promptly...7:15 and were finished by 11:30. I was amazed that it was so expensive. Beware of all costs. The boxes were $272, trip charge was $114 (my girlfriend lives 10 minutes away) and the labor for 3 men was $456. I tipped the men $100. Funny, I moved from CA to PHX last year and it was less.
Description of Work: Packing kitchen and accessories, books and 3 wardrobe boxes.Moving 10 minutes away to a room in my friends house. No unpacking. No stairs. I had packed about 20 boxes myself!

+ -1 moreThe 3 moving men arrived early and carefully moved all of our heavy furniture from our location in Queen Creek to our new home in Mesa. The whole process went very smoothly. They wrapped the furniture in saran wrap to protect it in the move. Moving blankets were also used and tie down straps within the truck to avoid shifting in transport. This is a great company, I have used them 2 other times and will continue to do so in the future for any moving needs.

+ -1 moreThe team showed up on time and included an extra mover at no additional charge. Everything was moved without damage. Extra requests were handled with a "yes sir" attitude. 5 hours from start to finish and the price was right. I will definitely use them again!

They worked hard and effectively and accomplished much more than any other mover we've every used. We also had them rebuild some furniture. They had a great attitude and were willing to do anything that we needed. We would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Our move included loading a 40 foot container from a storage facility which was then transported by tractor trailer to a ship and sailed to Alaska. Our move included a baby grand piano. Just in Time was recommended by Vaughn at Desert Mini Storage (Vaughn and Brian are great to work with at Desert Mini Storage too!) We asked for expertice in loading a container and that is exactly what we received. Everything arrived in great shape. he piano was inspected upon arrival and is in perfect condition with no damage at all. Just FYI... The first move from house to the storage was done by Frank at Thompson Moving. He had been recommended by a neighbor and it was horrible. (would never recommend nor use again. He did not wrap anything (promised all would be pad wrapped) and we had alot of damage to valuable furniture and flat screen tv was ruined, loss of family treasures to breakage. Horrible experience!) He gave a quote which was to be binding, I then did a walk around with him the morning he arrived to help us pack. He said nothing about needing to change the quote or any problems. He spent alot of time on the phone talking about a problem with a crew or employee that he had loaned on another move to someone else. Then at the end of the first day, he increased the cost to almost double the quote. We had to get out due to our closing date so we were stuck. He packed our furnture with picture wires against the cherry wood of our dining table and chairs. Cracked the frames of large 4x5 foot mirrors. Was to have brought new boxes and helped pack which he did with old paper and used boxes. Used the tape I had purchased and criticized the whole time as to how he could have sold me the packing material cheaper. I purchased at Uhaul and although they are expensive...had a great experience with their product holding up and protecting our household goods. He then charged me extra for the packing materials which we understood was to have been included in the initial quote. Funny thing, I gave him a 400.00 nativity set which we did not think we could take with us after he said he wife would love it and after that he kept asking if we were taking this or that. Said he worked with an organization that would take donations to help people in need.) I called Frank after seeing how he had packed the storage facility and the damage. His response...we didn't purchase extra insurance and it was not his problem. Back to Just in Time...they showed up on time...took extraordinary good care of our things. The packing of the container was spectacular. The company we hired to unpack in Alaska commented on how well the container was packed and kept saying it was obvious the gentleman who did the packing knew was he was doing. Very professional. I paid just what I was quoted. I was given good advice on what I needed to have available and wish so much that we had contacted them for the move from our home to storage. Just in Time staff was fabulous and cost was doable. We have moved 5 times in our career and Just In Time was the best experience we ever had. Good people, Good company and great service! Would definitely recommend them again ....and again!

Description of Work: We moved locally from a 3 bedroom home to another larger house with stairs. Just in Time arrived on time (7:00 am) and moved us in around 3 hours. The three man crew was extremely professional and courteous and took great care with all our belongings. Not one scratch on any item or on my new wood floors!

+ -1 moreThis was one of three companies I called; it had the best price by $50-$100. My only complaint was that I had trouble communicating with the owner/scheduler, but perhaps I expected too much. I initially left a message on his phone. He called back in a couple of hours. He seemed quite flexible in pickup and delivery times, and I explained that I needed to confirm a pickup time of 10 a.m. the following Monday with a person engaged to open the other house. I did that and again had to leave a message on their phone on Friday evening. I assumed they would check their messages over the weekend. They did not. We were able to change the pickup to Tues. morning, and everything went smoothly from there.
Description of Work: moved two electric twin bed frames from one house to another three miles apart.
