Response from JT CUSTOM PAINTING
The client is accurate in that I was slow to respond when he had made clear timing was important. It makes sense that he would move on and get the project done. (touch up some walls and paint some newly installed exterior trim). I dropped the ball and I take full responsibility for this, This is a repeat client..one whom I've completed many projects on time and on budget, including two of his personal residences. I have completed projects for his clients and their friends family as well all with stellar reviews. In light of this review l will give a response. A day after I had promised the quote [Member Name] called and asked where it was. I told him Id be there the next day as I had been very sick and took a day off. I went to property as promised, prepared the quote and emailed it on the spot from my phone. A couple days later [Member Name] told me he'd moved on as he never heard from me I checked my sent file and no email..hmmm weird...I found the email in my yahoo "outbox" waiting to be sent. I had never had this happen before nor seen an "outbox" At this point I had already not come through..twice... and couldn't bring myself to try and explain or make excuses. He had moved on and understandably so. Summary: I take each job personally and pride myself on communication and responsiveness. I am also sensitive to my clients needs and value their relationships as they are the lifeblood of a referral based business like mine. This review while unfortunate, is accurate.
