Called Darryl and requested a quote to switch front yard to desert landscape and replace back yard with new sod. Darryl gave us a time and date and showed up as said. Looked at the back yard first and informed us that replacing existing lawn would be a waste of money and explained what we would need to do in order to correct problems. We appreciated his honesty and his expertise. He looked at front yard and gave us some ideas to mull over, along with a basic cost of services. We decided to use his services and Darryl said he'd call in about three weeks to schedule work. Prior to the work date I called him and asked if he could swing by and let me show him some yards in our area we saw that we liked and the types of plants we would like to incorporate in the design. He spent about 45 minutes driving around with me to understand better what we were wanting. He called and set date to do work, showed up on time, finished the job in 1 day and we are very pleased with the results. Darryl and his crew are to be commended and I would highly recommend his company!

Daryl responded quickly and came out to give us a detailed quote. When I showed him the problems with our sprinklers, he immediately started mapping out the sprinkler zones, adjusting the sprinklers for proper coverage and programming our system so that nothing would die before he could get started, I was very impressed with that. His quote was very reasonable and we accepted. He started about 2 weeks after that. We ran into a problem when the work started though. His crew started being way too aggressive with trimming one of our trees and we lost a large portion of shade and privacy from one of our mesquite trees. My wife was home at the time and couldn't find someone who spoke English well enough to understand to stop the work. I called Daryl immediately and he responded quickly out on the site to address the problem. To his credit, he said he usually introduces the homeowner personally to the crew chief if he can't be there himself, but he didn't do that this time, as he was on the other side of town. I would like to think that we could have avoided this problem if that had happened. He stayed there the remainder of the day to make sure things went well. The rest of the work was done very well and within 1 day of them coming out. I had some follow up spots for them to address and it was done on the same day-, very responsive! Daryl understood we were unhappy with the one mesquite tree and didn't charge us for not only that tree, but all the other trees that were trimmed well. I thought that was very considerate of him and showed that he's a reasonable and stand-up guy. Despite the issue we had, I would definitely use Green & Trim again, because of how professional they were about the problem and the high quality of work that was done everywhere else. I think you can tell a lot about a company by how they handle things that don't go well and Daryl did everything possible to address our concerns, which is why I ranked them with an overall A.

I contacted Daryl and he got right back to me. We went through the project, which was a bit abstract, and he fully embraced it. His crew came out the next week and started the job. Daryl checked in regularly to make sure everything was going the way I envisioned it. The project turned out to be bigger than either of us anticipated, and he dealt with that well. It turned out great.

Daryl, the owner, scheduled a visit to discuss the work to be performed. Within a day, he provided a written estimate based on our discussion. I approved the quote and he scheduled the work. He originally expected the work to take a day and a half, but everything was done in one day. I came home after dark that evening and saw the work for the first time via the accent lighting and WOW, it was beautiful. Everything was done per the estimate and I was very pleased with the results.

They do excellent work, the communication is lacking a little bit. I would recommend them.

He did a great job and worked quickly and cleanly. I had to go to my back yard to see if they had been there! He did more then expected. The brick boarder was grouted and looked great. The drip system was set up exactly as I expected and the sprinklers were perfect. I had a couple of questions and he was more then happy to come by after I got home from work and spend some extra time going over the new system.

I called several vendors and left messages for them to call me back. This was the promptest reply back that I received. The owner gave me an estimate that was $600-$800 less than the other estimates I had received. The work being done involved trimming multiple trees, removing some very large bougainvillea bushes, trimming others, and cleaning and trimming all the rest of the plants in the yard. They came and performed the work promptly the following Saturday morning. The crew was great. They were fast, efficient, friendly, and highly proficient. My ficus and my citrus trees have been very happy and well-groomed since. I will use them again and recommend them highly to anyone wanting yard work and landscape tuning in the East Valley!!

Daryl was on schedule and finished the job 1/2 of a day early. There were items that I wanted changes on after the job was almost completed and he accommodated me while keeping a positive attitude. His crew was clean and did quality work. I would highly recommend Daryl and Green & Trim. His prices are reasonable and the workmanship was great.

DARYL BROWN PROVIDED A WRITTEN ESTIMATE, THEN KEPT HIS WORD WHEN PERFORMING ALL WORK. EMPLOYEES WERE THOROUGH, COMPLETE, AND DID A FANTASTIC JOB! I HAVE HIRED MANY COMPANIES, BUT NONE HAS COMPARED TO GREEN & TRIM LANDSCAPE. I PLAN TO HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR ALL LAWN, SPRINKLER SYSTEM, AND LANDSCAPE NEEDS.
