God's Green Earth

I hired Adam in September to remove dead trees from our yard and met with him about a few landscaping projects at our home. He removed the trees and my husband paid him by Venmo. (He didn’t know about my husband prior to the project). I got in touch with him about a month later in October to ask about quotes for the projects. He said he would get back to me over the holidays. Thanksgiving and Christmas passed with no word. Finally about a month ago (late March) my husband texted him again about the projects as well as ongoing yard maintenance. His reply was terse: “Get back to you ASAP.” Almost a month ago! We want to think the best of people, but we came to the reluctant conclusion (after waiting almost 8 months) that Adam will not do business with a gay couple.

Adam and crew “You Rock”!!! These guys did an awesome job! They were on time and very friendly. My yard had dead needles around the base of the Cypress trees and all thru the rocks, which have been there for years. Under the ficus was a bed of dead leaves about a foot deep that also had been there for years. When they finished chopping and trimming they cleaned up. I was not expecting them to clean any of the old dead stuff that they didn’t do but they did. I can’t believe how clean they got the rocks. Even when cleaning around the lemon tree I had a small pile of stuff I had raked from the yard and they cleaned that up too. Next project for Adam and crew is replanting the back yard..........

Adam Gilletti, the owner of the company is absolutely fantastic. He responded to our request for work in a timely fashion (though he is so busy that it is not easy to get in touch with him----a good thing for him) with costs that are very reasonable. This is the second time we have used his company. (The first time we used Adam was for tree removal. When his crew was done, our yard was actually cleaner than it had been before they arrived to remove the trees) The landscaping is a delight to look at, as is the free form fences that Adam put in our yard. He and his workers were punctual, polite and very professional and his ideas for what we should plant in our yard was on point. It is clear that Adam loves what he does. I would highly recommend his company to anyone who wants to landscape their yard.

Adam is wonderful! Showed up on time and got right to work. He trimmed the tree, removed the cuttings and then cleaned the entire area up. He was extremely courteous to me. I am from back east and know nothing about desert trees and Adam explained what he was doing and why. I highly recommend him and will definitely call on him again.

Adam and his crew are outstanding! He is professional, personable, knowledgeable and just plain nice. Adam's work is excellent. He is meticulous and very patient. He listens to what you want and he comes thru. Adam has a God given talent of being able to take a tree and literally turn it into a work of art. He reduced the size of a palm tree and sculpted it into a shrine for a statue of Mary for me in my backyard. See photos. Thank you, Adam! You continually amaze and impress me. Initially, everything was very good. We had one small issue with the fire pit having a broken brick that only was corrected because we insisted. The major work was a drain for our patio. Adam, the owner, did say he could not guarantee that he could repair the decking exactly but he would try. I paid $500 for this attempt which turned out terrible. I agreed to accept the cost of $300 even though I needed to hire someone else. Then recently we noticed the ground falling in at a section. Long story short, Adam was not very responsive to my request to fix it . I had to leave many messages and when I finally got in touch, he complained he was very busy and my work was not a priority. I wanted it done before I had to leave town. My daughter called him to confirm an appointment and he became verbally abusive. He used the f word repeatedly mostly in reference to me. He called other landscapers "wetbacks" and then said he was not coming out to fix the problem. As a professional, he was completely out of line. He did say he would do my monthly maintenance for free until my $200 was refunded, but he would not refund me money. I told him never to set foot on my property again. He is an angry, prejudice, abusive person.

I have used them and I had good experiences with them. Reasonable prices.

Very good. Tree was trimmed back and supported, bolted and tied. It's growing back beautifully.

I called and spoke with the owner, Adam, in an attempt to schedule an appointment for a maintenance estimate. However, I declined to follow thru due to Mr. Gilletti’s completely rude and unprofessional phone etiquette. First, his voicemail was completely full. You cannot leave a phone message. (He mentioned he was three (3) days behind in returning phone calls.) Second, though I told him exactly what I was looking for he continued to talk over me and tell me what I needed. I had to repeat my answers multiple times to keep him on track so he might have provided me with an accurate estimate. Third, I immediately agreed to meet with his employee for an estimate as this was the purpose of my call. However Mr. ____ backtracked on scheduling this appointment and instead provided approximate pricing over the phone in what I could only assume was a “fishing” attempt to see what my reaction to his pricing was. Although he provided pricing for both service frequencies, he became upset at my request to start with bi-monthly service instead of agreeing to his immediate weekly service directive. I then ended our conversation because Mr. Gilletti began using foul language to describe: • my yard appearance if mowed every two weeks; (“CRAP”) • what his employees would be walking in (“CRAP”) & tracking around my property; (“CRAP”) and • again, the appearance of my property after his employees were done maintaining it (“CRAP”).

They were very impressive so much so that my neighbor hired them. This company is excellent. They are definitely an A+ in everything that they do. They are all around a really good company.

Fantastic, it took 2 days to finish and all of the work was done well. Actually the crews work was more than I expected and was contracted for. They did a great job cleaning up the yards.

Adam does a great job. Everything looks great after he was done.

Matteo and Spence arrived on time. Adam came by to verify which trees I wanted trimmed, etc. Matteo and Spence skinned and trimmed five Mexican fan palms with one not easy to get to. Matteo needed to cut back on a few thorny bushes to get to the bottom of one of the trees to begin the skinning. These guys are truly nice! I have used Adam's tree services before and he has a lifetime customer here. They are all very professional and they do excellent work. Thank you, Adam, Matteo and Spence!

They did a great job on the service. I just had difficulty scheduling the appointment with them. They had trouble finding my house. He was ultimately punctual.

Each tree was about 4 feet in diameter. Trees were cut down and all debris removed. Work was timely. Contractor provided proof of insurance. Good communication with contractor.

I knew, after a smaller mesquite was uprooted, our tree needed professional work. I bought a coupon, but I knew it would be more expensive due to tree size and work needed. I received an e-estimate very quickly, and bit the bullet and had them come, as they were so highly rated. They arrived promptly and set to work. They were patient with me wanting to be present, and having input. I had the sense that after a while they accepted me. I would go with their suggestions, and they pointed out where I was wrong and why. They were polite and professional. The process was like having long hair needing a cut, desperately, and having to cut most of it off. When they were done (to my and their satisfaction and theirs), my tree looked twice as high, and very nice. Most importantly, winds will go through the foliage, and not push on the tree's canopy, causing strain on the roots. I am very glad I called them.

They didn't complete the job and promised to come back and never did. The pricing was good.

Adam was great. Quick to respond and come out to give us a quote. We felt his price was extremely reasonable. Great guy with a great work ethic. I'm not very quick to refer, but I've since referred him to a co-worker. I would recommend and would use him again in the future.

I called God's Green Earth (Adam Gilletti) to get advice and a quote on trimming back five Ficus trees in our yard that were hanging over our wall and over our neighbor's pool. Also we have two huge Ash trees that appeared to be sickly and had dying branches and leaves throughout both trees. Adam quoted a price which we thought was reasonable and stated what he would be doing to try and save the Ash trees and save our good relationship with our dear neighbors regarding the Ficus trees. Adam and his crew arrived right on time in the morning we had agreed upon and was finished in a matter of approximately 2-1/2 hours. I have to say that I didn't expect how well of a job he and his crew did. My husband and I are extremely impressed with their work. And we have noticed that within less than a month's time, our Ash trees are actually growing new and beautiful leaves just in time for Fall! They did not look that good in the Spring before God's Green Earth came to the rescue! The Ficus trees look better than they have EVER looked and our neighbors are very happy too! My husband and I are immensely pleased with Adam and his crew's hard work (and believe me, they WORKED HARD under the HOT Arizona sun that day). THANK YOU SO MUCH, ADAM and CREW! 8-)

I spoke to Adam on the phone on 8/25. He confirmed he would be out on 8/28 to perform service. He was supposed to do a very basic yard cleanup and review the drip system that he modified a few months prior; which has now led to dead plants. He never showed, never called, and refuses to answer my calls or return my messages. It took many tries just to get him on the phone the last time too. This is a very unprofessional company. The one time he performed a service, the quality of the work was good - but not good enough to make up for all the unprofessionalism.

WOW! I messaged this stellar provider late @ night on 8/31/15, explaining our multiple tree woes caused by a storm that night & asked if he would contact my husband to set up a time to come to our home & work his magic! We expected it would be several days before we'd heart back as much of the East Valley was affected with downed trees, etc. At 8 am the next morning, my husband received a call from God's Green Earth's owner, Adam Gilletti. He said he'd be to our home @ 11 am. At 10:55 am (5 minutes early!), Adam & his team of 8 talented guys arrived, Adam talked with my husband re: what all of our concerns were & off to work he & his talented team went. While I don't know all of the technical terms, Adam & his team saved our beloved Desert Sumac tree that had mostly uprooted from the ground, trimmed it beautifully & secured it to enhance healthy & aesthetic growth. He educated my husband re: important care of the tree. Adam & his team worked together incredibly- a true team effort. They worked like acrobats & trimmed every single branch of every tree that had been affected by the storm-& made sure the trees were aesthetically gorgeous! Adam & his team utilized blowers & cleaned our yard of all the debris from the trimming & the storm. By the time they were done, our yard was totally clean- like there had never been a severe storm 12 hours earlier. This exceptional work was completed in 35 minutes! We couldn't be more happy with God's Green Earth than we are. In fact, we are having them back in a month to completely landscape our yard! The highest of kudos to Adam & his team!

We had just moved into our home and thought that the watering system was running all the time, 24/7. I called, and Adam was here in a few hours. He shut off the watering system to allow things to dry out, and returned 2 days later to get the system going again and to trim and move the trees. He's helped me figure out our watering system, and is coming back to run a line to our back yard. He told me all about the trees that I have, and was very helpful and prompt. I like that he didn't simply top the trees, making them vulnerable, but thinning them to allow the wind to do through them. Adam and his crew were polite, hardworking and they cleaned up everything very nicely when they were done.

God's Green Earth Tree Service did an excellent job in cutting all of my huge pine and mesquite trees. Mr. Adam Gilletti, and his crew were prompt in their arrival. They worked dilengently until the job was completed. All refuse was taken away and my yard never looked as good as when it did when God's Green Earth got finished with it. I am so thourougly impressed with the professionalism of Mr. Gilletti and his crew that I plan to have them return again in one year to manicure my trees. I would most definitely recommend God's Green Earth to my family and friends. .

I left a detailed message on the first day and didn't hear back. The second day I phoned, he answered saying he was high in a tree and didn't know why he answered the phone, but he said he would call for certain on his lunch break in about an hour. Never happened. I phoned Angie's List and canceled the Big Deal. I know it's a busy time of year and I'm fine with scheduling service weeks out, but it would talk less than 60 seconds to phone someone and schedule service.
